Can the recent success of the British National party be explained by the misguided immigration policy of the government? That was the killer question from the floor during the notorious episode of Question Time 10 days ago. Four times it was put to Jack Straw, the justice secretary, and four times he avoided answering it. Until that evening I had thought Straw was a fairly decent sort of bloke, for a politician. No longer. In a man so central to the new Labour project, who has served in cabinet under Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, who has been home secretary and foreign secretary, evasion on such an important subject is shocking.
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/columnists/minette_marrin/article6898174.ece
In an astonishingly insouciant article Andrew Neather — a former adviser to Straw, Blair and David Blunkett — revealed that Labour ministers had a hidden agenda in allowing immigrants to flood into the country.
Ministers longed for an immigration boom but wouldn’t talk about it, he wrote. “They probably realised the conservatism of their core voters: while ministers might have been passionately in favour of a more diverse society, it wasn’t necessarily a debate they wanted to have in working men’s clubs in Sheffield or Sunderland.”
The revelations get worse. “There was a reluctance ... in government,” he wrote, “to discuss what increased immigration would mean, above all for Labour’s core white working-class vote.” The social outcomes that ministers cared about were those affecting the immigrants.
To frame a radical social policy, with wide-reaching consequences, just to embarrass and marginalise the opposition party, is grotesquely immature and irresponsible; it is the behaviour of spiteful children mucking about with our destinies just to settle imaginary scores.
Under these circumstances, Labour’s obvious gerrymandering by mass immigration — black and ethnic minority people are very likely to vote Labour — is perhaps the least of its crimes.
Read it all(at the above link).
That's a couple of good pieces I've read recently from Minette Marrin. I think I'll be following her work a little more closely in future.

ARE WE AT ALL ...
.
... SURPRISED?
I wonder how many such offences take place each year (no, I'm not talking about the absconding)? And I further wonder what percentage of the offenders are real British? And what percentage of the total population is British (real British)? I wouldn't mind betting there's one hell of a disproportion of such offences commited by immigrants.
If they prosecute me for saying that, my lawyer will demand the figures - and I already know from this post I worked out and created that more Muslims = more sex crimes:
Have you a daughter?
(A very early venture into writing on the net, as you may guess by my style of writing)
And we've already seen the figures for blacks and gang rape.
When you think about it though, that's not really relevant because every offence committed by an immigrant against a native Brit is an offence that wouldn't have occurred if the immigrant wasn't here. One more young woman whose life wouldn't from now on be troubled. Hammer attacks, gang rapes, nonce rapes (very young girls) Muslims and blacks - they are troubling aren't they. I notice that this sort of thing is extremely rare from Hindus, Sikhs, and Christian-Asian immigrants (my wife was one of those); and the Chinese keep their troubles amongst themselves - very rarely intruding in the lives of natives. Always muslims and blacks - and my guess is that they're mostly African blacks, not West Indians. Just a guess, I must admit; if you know better, please let me know. And the EU is currently in the process of importing a targetted 50 million more Africans.
Not white Rhodesians or white South Africans, I suspect. What do you reckon?
An increasingly weary of all this ...

TONY WARD'S HAMMER ATTACKER CHARGES DROPPED - COULD THIS BE WHY?
.
The hammer-attacker was black.
Makes you wonder, doesn't it ...
No, not necessarily Scotland, the minister - but some unknown, and possibly illegal, clerk in the bowels of the Justice ministry. Think about it. She does seem to have developed a habit of hiring illegal immigrants.
Also the passport checkers at Heathrow - have a look how many are British next time you come through there. And I don't mean British on paper only - I mean REALLY British.
We've been stitched up like kippers. And we were told why and how by a Labour insider last weekend (see above post - "Tories are not exonerate").. He denies it now, of course .... but he would, wouldn't he.

BNP SUPPORT ... UP 50%
.
"Woolas, MP for Oldham East & Saddleworth, said he was surprised at the high level of BNP support in Blackburn, but that in Stoke separatist Islamic groups were creating a “very worrying” backlash of support for the BNP. He said: “The British National party is a significant threat in electoral terms in parts of our country as this poll confirms. The mainstream parties must focus on grassroots politics. This can’t be done in television studios in London. It has to be done in the streets.” "
"It has to be done on the streets."
Yes, exactly, so we have to get to work NOW!
Now! - We have six months from our next Wigan and Leigh meeting. So we should ALL be picking up a couple of hundred leaflets EACH at the next and all subsequent meetings and distributing them in the local areas where we live.
And that's not just our local branch - that's every branch in the country. Stop relying on just small groups of activists in every area. Every member and supporter should be doing this. I'm officially disabled, and even I can distribute a couple of hundred leaflets every month - EASILY. So no one has any excuse to do otherwise. In previous elections most of the work has been done by people like me, and people up to 70 yrs old (most, not all, it's fair to say) but let's ALL get involved this time - and from the next meeting.
Myself and one other (also disabled) activist did the town centre a couple of Saturdays before the Euro-elections, and distributed literally thousands of leaflets and scores of copies of Voice of Freedom. A few more volunteers to do this and we can take turns and cover EVERY Saturday from our next meeting to the General Election. No need for a stall and a lot of members at any one time - we showed that we only need to work in pairs handing out leaflets.
We got in the habit of telling people what they were getting before we gave them a leaflet - very few refused to take one. I personally had one man push past me refusing to take one - but when I added "No to the the European Union", he came back and said "Give me one of those". We have many policies that are liked by different people if only they knew what policies we have aside from immigration. The media is fond of telling everyone we are a one trick party - immigration, but we actually cover the entire political spectrum. For sure we have something for everyone somewhere in our spectrum of policies.
Let's roll.

HITTING PEOPLE ON THE HEAD WITH A CLAW HAMMER
Remember that incident at a school in Wroughton (near Swindon in Wiltshire - and where I met my - Asian, note - wife actually, when there was a R.A.F. base there) where Henry Webster was hit on the head with a claw hammer by a gang of Pakis?
Well read this article to find out what condition he was in before the attack, and what condition he's in now.
Classroon apartheid - where teachers are afraid to discipline thuggish immigrants
And our own Tony Ward who was hit several times on the head with a claw hammer by UAF thugs, and an Afro-Carribean thug in particular? Well, all charges have been dropped and the black thug has gotten away with it.
Plenty of incentive there for him to do it again, eh?
A few weeks ago a white thug in Wales was jailed for life with a 25 years minimum for attacking his wife with a claw hammer.
In modern Britain, don't dare be whitey.

FOR DENNIS, WHO IS CAMPAIGNING AGAINST HIS COUNCIL TAX INCREASE
You really need to know about this. In fact, everyone needs to know about it.
The Proceeds Of Crime Act
So council jobsworths have been given police and security services powers with RIPA, and now more police powers with POCA - and under POCA there is no need to establish something to criminal standards (beyond all reasonable doubt), but only civil standards (on the balance of probabilities). And your bank accounts are frozen at the start of proceedings so you don't even have access to your money to defend yourself (or eat).

AND THIS IS HOW THE EU MAFIA WORKS
Scroll down to this article (3rd article down - not far):
Sarkozy leads the charge to strong-arm Klaus into signing Lisbon
http://www.openeurope.org.uk/media-centre/summary.aspx?id=953
We really must leave - NOW, or we're going to have to have an insurrection.
And note that when they talk about one man holding up the wishes of 500 million, what they really mean is one President holding up the mafia-like governments of all those people. The "people" haven't had any say in it - only five million Irish, and when they voted "no" they were strong-armed into voting again (and again, and again?) until they voted "yes". So 495 million out of 500 million have had no say. It is just as easy to say "one president representing 495 million people" as it is to say "one man".
And equally valid.

A DISGUSTING EVENT IN SOMALIA
No, not the recent kidnapping by Somali pirates of that British yachting couple, along with the threat to burn them. As disgusting as that is, this is worse.
And you'll notice, that most perfect of so-called liberal newspapers has not condemned it. All our women readers - when you were 17, would you have fancied marrying a 112 yr old man?
It calls itself a religion, but in reality it is an ideology that condones the most disgusting practices.
Read it here - it's only a short piece:
Somali man of 112 marries a 17 yr old girl
Somali, note - even other Muslims and other Africans consider Somalis to be the most primitive people on the planet, and prefer to have nothing to do with them. And we're importing them by the tens of thousands. What could such primitives possibly have to offer a first world civilisation other than trouble?
Disgusting! I've got a daughter. All you men who have daughters - what do you think?

SOUTH AFRICA SUCKS
I must first say that I was in two minds about posting this. You need a strong stomach to read all of the linked site.
However, as no one in the media tells the truth about South Africa, the second of my minds won the argument so I'm posting the link. Go to the link ONLY IF YOU HAVE A STRONG STOMACH AND HAVE A PSYCHOLOGICAL TOUGHNESS.
Why did the second of my two minds win the argument? Well, the way this Labour government is behaving, which will in all probability be left to continue by a Tory government, there is a great likelihood that we will be a minority here in a few decades, just as white people are a minority in South Africa. Do we want to even RISK being on the receiving end of this type of barbarism? It's not as if it hasn't already started - there is that black gang-rape in Tottenham where after it, the blacks concerned sprinkled caustic soda on the victim in order to destroy any DNA evidence. Given the nature of the crime of rape, where do we suppose the caustic soda went? What if we were a minority?
What on earth does the government think it's doing importing these savages, or their parents if they were born here? Voting in a BNP government is your only chance of avoiding this future.
The images presented here are seriously sick, and sickening. Bear in mind that it was black mentalities that actually did do this things. There are hundreds and thousands of these events happening in South Africa every year. Age - whether old or young, and sex - whether male or female, wont protect you. And what did that Black, supposedly educated, man say in the video I posted earlier? " ... we have to exterminate whites ... off the face of the planet." THINK!!!
In Rwanda the Hutus massacred nearly a million Tutsies in under three months. What method did they use for a large number of these killings? that's right - the machete, and apparently hardware stores in South Africa are having difficulty keeping up with the demand for machetes. What has happened in Sierra Leone? Liberia? The Congo? etc. Who hacked PC Blakelock to death (that was in Tottenham too)? Who committed a robbery with the threat of a machete recently in Wigan ? - that's right, a black. So you see, it's not restricted to black S. Africans - this brutal mentality happens all over Africa. It's just IN them.
And the EU is currently setting up employment offices in Africa with the intention of importing 50 million of them over the next few years. I despair at our elite groups, I really do. So let's have a bit of truth: WHY are we importing them. Oh yes, that's right: Labour apparatchik Neather let the cat out of the bag over the weekend, didn't he.

COMMENTS
Here are three comments I made on another blog. I'm posting them here as a single post, with that link so you can get to the context if you need to.
---------------------------------------------------
Disgraceful attempt at character assassination.
But then, it’s the BBC so what else can we expect. They KNOW that if we get a referendum the treaty is dead. France and Holland have both already voted the Consitution (same-same Lisbon treaty) down.
I say we should leave the EU altogether. No negotiations, no nicey-nicey, Just send an envoy to Brussels and say “As of (looks at watch with other hand raised) NOW (hand brought down in a chopping movement), “bye bye”.
“Was not nice knowing you”.
Easy peasy.
------------------------------------
If the EU get their way they will need a Federal European police force of some sort. I await the day when two ARMED Germans enter this country and use force to take someone – anyone – back to Germany to be held in custody for trial two years later. All without so much as a bye-your-leave to what we laughingly refer to as the “British Authorities” (who by then will have none). Even better if it’s at the person’s home and by forced entry.
For maximum effect it has to be Germans, though at a pinch any nationality will do. Even our own cops and army (especially) would be very highly pissed off about that.
It’s only a matter of time.
Please please God let it be me.
-------------------------------------------------------
And it would be absolutely PERFECT if it was for a political and/or Free Speech “crime”. As interpreted by, say, a German Turk (Moslem).
The day a Federal Police is formed in Europe, is the day I start trying to provoke such an arrest.

WE MUST LEAVE THE EUROPEAN UNION. NOW! IMMEDIATELY! INSTANTER!
We already have more reasons to leave the EU than we can count. Well here's another reason coming up.
And just when you thought we had already lost our freedom of speech. It's going to get a lot worse yet. This one will probably badly affect this blog. And the damned muzbots are already whingeing daily.
This government has already taken our physical weapons from us; while at the same time gun-crime is rising and because our borders are now like a sieve to enable mass immigration, it's ever easier for the violent criminal fraternity to smuggle in guns from Eastern Europe. Now they're going to take all we have left from us - the verbal weapon. The EU and the Labour party want us utterly defenceless.
And we wonder why Blair removed the death penalty as a possible punishment for treason.
http://www.jihadwatch.org/2009/10/european-union-set-to-outlaw-objections-to-islamic-practices.html
There is so much going on all at once these days that it's almost impossible to keep up with it, never mind spread the details to other people. That, of course, is intentional.
Is there anyone out there who still trusts the mainstream media (including telly) to keep us informed?

THE DANGER OF POLES.
I found this on a weblog called Nanny Knows Best.
As we all know, Nanny's councils have something of a bee in their collective bonnets over "health and safety".
Rob Grice, a barber shop owner from Wigan, found this to his cost recently when his local council decreed that his barber's shop pole (a freestanding red and white erection...can I say erection?) presented a clear and present danger to the health and safety of pedestrians.
The council happily seized it!
Isn't that theft?
The odd thing is that this pole has been there for 19 years.
Why oh why would the council seize it now?
Hmmmm...
Shall we ask the council then my loyal readers?
Yes, let's ask the council!
Here's what they say:
"We work closely with access groups and it is our duty to look after the interests of people in wheelchairs and with white sticks.
Objects like these are not as stable as fixed street signs and we are being encouraged by Government to be much more proactive over things like this.
The sign was noticed by inspectors. The shop is in a narrow street. It was an accident waiting to happen. The proprietor was issued with a warning but he failed to respond so we were obliged to take it off him.
He is entitled to have it back if he pays the council £100."
Oh hoh!
Ah hah!
Teh heh!
The very last sentence contains the real reason for them lifting the sign...
Ker Farking Ching!

UPDATE: This loopy character has been presented as a respected authority to students at institutions of higher learning. Before NCSU, he "was a professor of education at St. Augustine's College in Raleigh, a historically black institution. He was given a Citizen's Award in 1999 by the Triangle’s left-wing newspaper, The Independent Weekly." He's influential enough to be a guest speaker at Howard University, and to be presented on C-Span. And he is still a force of influence in molding minds through his BlackNificent Books and More enterprise, where we learn ""The Truth is considered Hate only to those who Hate the Truth."

All I can suggest is that you lie through your teeth. I plan to and have every intention of following through on that plan. They'll be staggered to find that I sleep with three - correction: four - women of different races, all 16 years old, at a time, that I'm a Satanist etc etc etc.

DOES ANYONE DOUBT THAT WE NEED A RETURN OF CAPITAL PUNISHMENT?
Here's one reason why, just like the film posted below is another reason.
Yeah yeah, I know it's the Guardian, but it's still worth reading.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2009/oct/25/gang-shootings-armed-police-london
It's all linked to the free and easy mass immigration this Labour government conspired to introduce. Sure, it HAS enriched us - going for a walk in certain places is now so much more exciting than it's ever been. Imagine how dull it would be without the immigration.

COMING SOON TO A TOWN NEAR YOUR DAUGHTER
We've recenrly learned from a Labour insider that this Labour government deliberately imported millions of immigrants to change our society. Didn't they know this sort of thing would become commonplace?
Of course they did - whatever other things they are, stupid isn't one of them. They didn't care because they and their daughters don't have to live with it. If ever I discovered this had happened to my daughter, I'd spend the rest of my life in jail for multiple-murder - a serial killer who inflicted some seriously medieval ways to die.
And before you throw the R-word at me Peter, I used to be good friends with a black woman in Plymouth. She had two mixed race children (she had been married at the time). She told me she had never had anything to do with black men, and she never would.
I would suggest that the presenter/reporter for this film might have been ok.
I've nothing else to say in case I get arrested for it.

HIGH TREASON
So there you have it. What we thought and were told by the media was incompetence was a conspiracy.
We did not need immigrants for economic reasons. The illegals were not deported because it was difficult.
Our borders were not patrolled because of financial constraints,(the customs officers did concentrate on people bringing cigarettes etc) but did not check illegals.
Illegal immigrants when caught by the police were told to report to the nearest immigration centre and then disappeared. IT WAS KNOWN THAT THEY WOULD DO SO.
And now at last we know why. The cat is really out of the bag this time.
It was a deliberate policy--"TO RUB THR RIGHT'S NOSE IN DIVERSITY AND MAKE THEIR ARGUMENTS OUT OF DATE."
Never before has there been such treachery.
We will rub their noses in patriotism! (and other things)
They were prepared to sacrifice our culture, history, identity and nation to defeat "The Right". That's us folks. Not the right wing Tories (Bullington Club?) or wealthy asset strippers or bankers BUT PATRIOTS. UNBELIEVABLE even for Labour.
Now remember the BNP was a much smaller party then, and at that time a small threat but we are now, and they were prepared to sacrifice Britain to beat us?
These people are traitors to our people of all decent classes and hopefully in the future will be brought to justice.
The Tories and Lib Dems were complicit in this I believe as at previous elections a pact was made to avoid discussion of the issue.
The law of unintended consequences has come to the fore and the people now know. we have found out and WE WILL PUNISH THEM!
We would have no problem with properly integrated legal immigrants, but one person should be first on a leaky boat out, THE CRIMINAL FOREIGNER PETER HAIN, and he could leave his pension etc here.
No wonder he tries to gag us.

TRANSLATION OF THURSDAY'S QUESTION TIME
'That' Nick Griffin Question time transcript
So, Nick Griffin's dreams came true, and he got to appear on the real telly, with some real politicians.
And what a night it was. A glittering gallery of all the key figures, the big beasts, in British politics: MP Chris WhoHe of extremist minority party the "Lib Dems", Jack 'thought he'd retired?' Straw for Labour, Sayeeda WhoShe for Conservatives and Bonnie Greer, a random American writer, filling that vital role of black-person-sat-right-next-to-nasty-Nick-ha-ha.
Through his contacts with the BBC (you just press '1' on the remote), CF is able to bring you a full transcript of what was probably the most
Dimbleby: "Good evening. I'd like to welcome our panel tonight. Well, all of them bar one, of course"
[audience laughs nervously]
Griffin: "I .."
[audience boos enthusiatically]
Dimblebore: "That's really quite enough from you, Mr Griffin"
[applause. Cries of 'quite right']
Dumbledore: "First, I must just apologise for the screaming and breaking glass you may be able to hear. I'm told that the UAF have peacefully stormed the building and are now peacefully smashing the place up".
Dumbledore: "..and so, to our first question. Gentleman with the cross face.."
Angry Asian: "Nick. Is it that you love Churchill and hate Muslims, innit?"
[wild applause, jeering]
Griffin: "I didn't ..."
Baroness Wassup [interrupting]: "Yes, you do, don't you, you do"
[prolonged applause]
Dumbledore: "Moving on now. I've got photos, Mr Griffin, of you standing near a man from the Klu Klux Klan. Does the very existence of these photo's not prove, beyond doubt, that you'd very much like to strap a black man to the front of your pickup and drive all round the bayou at high speed?"
Griffindor: "Well, I ..."
Bonnie Greer [interrupting]: "Don't you try to tell me about no KKK. I'm a 'merican."
[rapturous applause, cries of 'Right on', 'mmm hmmm']
Dumbledore: "I must just apologise for the smoke the audience may able to smell. I'm told that the UAF have peacefully ripped open the filing cabinets, piled up all the scripts and books in the building, and set light to them".
Dimblebore: "..and now, for another question"
Lone non-nutter in audience: "Is it not possibly the case that some of our problems with immigration stem from Labour's policies in this area?"
[audience falls silent, confused]
Chris WhoHe: "What? Is it me? Sorry. What was the question?"
Jack Straw: "I'd like to answer that by reading out a long list of Labour's achievements, allowing the audience to refill their glasses and go to the toilet."
Baroness WhoShe: "Well that's not true is it, and ..."
Dimbleby [interrupting]: "I'm sorry, we'll have to move on. Mr Griffin is just sitting there, smiling, and no-one has booed him for nearly five minutes"
[applause, booing]
Dumbledore: "Moving on. Mr Griffin, I've got a puppy in this bag. Very cute. But it's a black puppy. Am I right in thinking that you, and members of your odious party, would like to kick it to death and then eat it?"
Griffin: "Well, that would be illegal and.."
Straw [interrupting]:: "As a member of the Government, and a Justice Minister, can I just say that I would be more than happy to change the law, right now, if I felt that it would make you look bad, Mr Griffin, or indeed make me look better."
[applause, shouts of 'go on Jack']
Dimmock: "..and so to another question. You sir, what would you like to ask the panel?"
Teenager: "Hey, Mr Griffin: instead of calling you Nick, I call you Dick"
[thunderous applause, teenager high-fived by all in the next row]
Dumbledore: "I must just apologise for the triumphant howling you may be able to hear. I'm told that the UAF have peacefully killed a BBC security guard, and are parading his head on a pole around the car park".
Dimbley:"..but now, time for one more question, and perhaps on a slightly different topic. You, sir.."
Angry black man: "Griffin, Why don't you fuck off to the Antarctic? it's all white there"
[hysterical laughter, applause, cries of 'yeah!']
Dimbleby: "Well, I'm afraid that's all we've got time for tonight. Some pretty impressive, incisive debate this evening, I think you'll agree. And to the audience, I would ask you to leave by the western exit, as the UAF have peacefully brought down a police helicopter in the eastern carpark, and are currently hacking the occupants to death with machetes. Goodnight!"
[applause, music, lights fade]
This exclusive poll taken immediately after the programme, shows the seismic affect on the political landscape:
BNP: 0% change
Labour: 0% change
Conservative: 0% change
Lib Dem.: 0% change
Questions on other matters: 0%
Police: 100 grand in overtime
The public: nagging sense of an evening wasted

LYNCH MOB IN LONDON
Sorry for the delay in this post and thanks Chris for your kind words. I've been in Manchester for a hospital appointment with my wife so I am late.
MY THOUGHTS ON LAST NIGHT.
It was a lynch job which Nick knew it would be but we never imagined it would be so one sided and devoted to our party and what was said by whom many years ago. No discussion about the economic mismanagement or the postal strike for instance (nor even Jack Straws file on MI5 as a Communist)
Before the programme I found it strange that police were injured by "peaceful" protestors.
That just gives the lie that the BNP are those who are responsible for violence. It showed who the thugs are (remember Tony Ward)
The make up of the audience coupled with the rabble outside showed what is in store for our people if this insanity of uncontrolled immigration (a la Straw) continues. We are rapidly becoming a third world totalitarian state where only the accepted leftist opinion is tolerated.
Nick had no chance of a fair hearing when at least 50% of the audience was of an ethnic minority and thus a vested interest in destroying the leader of a party which aims to limit their influence and numbers.
Of course they will not agree with him.
The panel consisting of a campaigner for black rights in America, Jack Straw who proclaims his Jewish ancestry but whose father refused to fight to defend them as Nick's dad did, a young "baroness" (why is she a baroness, she has not been elected?. We know why don't we?) who when campaigning peddled a different agenda to the muslims in her constituency from that peddled to the Brits, and Huhne notable for his large eyes but unquestioned about his party's eagerness to cede our sovereignty to the EU and a chairman who thought his duty was to contribute to the attack rather than chair the meeting.
What a stitch up! No wonder Nick was nervous and it was obvious that before the show they had been swotting up on how to attack him.
Nick did make some big hits especially against Straw over his coward of a father and on the immigration issue and ethnicity which the audience want to deny us.
The man who said he would pay for us to go to the South Pole if we wanted whiteness should be prosecuted for racism as we would if we said the reverse about black people. Indeed I dare not even respond in kind here which I could easily.
I know it is easy to criticize from the sidelines but caught on the hop with predetermined hostile questions it is very difficult.
My main criticism was that Nick tried to be too nice to people who shunned him. They are bastards Nick, with no sense of decency. You will never get them to like you so don't try.
Treat them with the contempt they deserve next time, (and there will be one, the BBC likes the ratings).
All in all he acquitted himself well, as shown by the comments sections in the papers and the fact that I have had e mails and phone calls for futher information about the party.
Whatever the long term outcome we have got exposure and opened the can of worms that is the ethnic cleansing of our country which has been ignored for far too long and exposed the panel, audience and demonstrators as the threat to all true Brits.
This is a portent of what awaits our people if we are not listened to, and now they know.
THANKS FOR THAT NICK. We acknowledge your bravery and THE TRUTH HAS BEEN SHOWN, and the people can see it.

QUESTION TIME? IT WAS LIKE NO OTHER QT I'VE EVER SEEN BEFORE
The only time I've ever seen it resembling that programme was the time the American ambassador was on the panel and everyone laid into him. I felt so ashamed that a guest in our country could be so abused and mistreated.
Last night was worse, except this time I'm not ashamed: I'm ANGRY!
The entire format of the program was changed; instead of the audience questions being about current affairs, with the panel members all giving their take on those events, it was a mugging of Nick Griffin. It was as if the BBC laid in wait down a dark alley with a club until Griffin walked by and then amushed him and bludgeoned him into intensive care.
QT selects its audience, QT selects which audience questions will be allowed, QT selects who will be represented on the panel. They selected an audience that was overwhelmingly hostile (and QT knew they would be because audience applicants are vetted and have to suggest what question they will ask - then QT selects both audience and question). Questions that were entirely about the BNP. Panel members that were also entirely hostile. And even the panel chair, Dimblebum was hostile, when he knows damned well he is supposed to be neutral. There was only one question related to current affairs (why are we admitting so many immigrants while unemployment is relentlessly rising?), and that was entirely ignored as everyone went back into bludgeon Griffin mode.
I believe this whole program was an ambush, deliberately planned by the BBC from the very first day they announced Nick was to appear. Indeed, I think they planned the ambush before then, got permission from Brown to do it, and THEN announced that we were to be represented. The BBC, and everyone involved in this mugging should be ashamed of theselves.
Why did they do it? There's a general election in a few months and we take an awful lot of votes from Labour. Labour wants them back. Indeed, it wouldn't surprise me if it was Labour's dirty tricks team that initiated the whole thing, and that's why Brown was so cool about us being on the show.
Here's a comment by a self-proclaimed Liberal who has no intention of ever voting BNP, taken from today's Gurdian. He has the decency to be thoroughly ashamed - it shows in what he said:

DEMOCRATS OUTSIDE THE BBC?
The uaf fascists protesting about an elected MEP being on Question Time have given our party a huge boost. Whatever happens later the undemocratic mainly white students outside ( mummy's boys and girls no doubt having had a private education) but soft as s**t have given us publicity worth £millions.
I noticed the absence of riot shields worn by the police (unlike when 10 years ago elderly farmers protested outside the Labour supporting Sainsbury's depot in Haydock)
These idiots have given us a great boost by showing their undemocratic principles which are "Free speech so long as you agree with us"
Even Tony Benn said Nick had a right to be there, so as batty as his ideas are he shows himself to agree with democracy.
So idiots. By your actions you have already lost the argument and it will have been seen throughout the country.
THANKS FOR THAT!

QUESTION TIME
I sincerely hope for a good outcome on Question Time tonight but I fear the forces of the left and liberal "elite" will conspire to shout Nick down.
They will find it difficult to ask a question he has not been asked before and I have many DVDs of him fielding all sorts of questions.
I have never seen him stumped yet.
However the people invited to the "show" will not be prepared to hear him out and I think will possibly descent to personal abuse. They are not a civilised as the average BNP audience and the fact that the Tory sponsored fascists of the uaf want to ban free speech does not augar well for order.
Intellectually he will tower above them but the baying mob may prevent him showing the superiority of his ideas.
That the other parties are panicing is obvious and the fact that our Party has grown so much in influence in the 7 years is down to Nick's perseverence and guts.
When I joined the Party was almost an underground movement and now we are frightening the establishment.
Whether we eventually get power or not (I obviously hope for power) our influence even now is causing a sea change in political attitudes of the people in spite of a uniformly hostile press, anxious that their cosy cabal of traitors is not exposed.
THANKS FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE SO FAR NICK and
BEST OF LUCK. We will support you whatever.
YOU ARE A BRAVE PATRIOT.

ANALYSIS OF WHAT'S HAPPENING BETWEEN THE BNP AND THE MAINSTREAM PARTIES AND MEDIA - AND ESPECIALLY THE LABOUR PARTY AND HOW IT WORKS.
I've published a complete post from this blogger before - well I'm doing it again. It's an excellent analysis, well thought out and well written. I wish he was a nationalist. I recommend you read it all, and pass the link along to your friends inside and outside the party. Maybe even to someone in the leadership. - Morg (emphases are mine).
____________________________________________________________
I'm not one for conspiracy theories involving shadowy people working in secret to influence people, but after watching the way this government has worked for the last few years I've become more open to those ideas. Labour don't seem to use any other operating methods beyond bullying, backroom deals and spiteful vengeance.
So something Mrs Rigby said caused my tinfoil hat to twitch. Cuts to the Territorial Army, especially damaging recruitment, cuts to recruitment and pay for the University Officer Training Corp, cuts to army cadets... well I didn't think anything of those when I saw them in the papers. Everything is being cut. it's a recession. But Mrs Rigby says that the air force and navy equivalents are not being cut. That seems odd.
Especially since a certain general has just effectively sided with the Tories. An Army general. Could this be another example of Labour spite? If so, what deal could the Army do to get back in favour with the bean counters?
Well, they could get the top brass and the veterans to join in the current round of BNP-bashing. Then the cuts might not run quite so deep. I'm not sure Nick the Griff's response is correct in aiming at the Tories. I don't think the Tories are the main players behind this. It has all the hallmarks of Labour's dirty tricks crew, doing a bit of horse-trading behind the scenes.
General Dannatt goes to the Blues, labour make swingeing cuts in Army recruitment but not in Airforce or Navy, then the Army come out as champions of Labour's anti-BNP crusade. A BNP membership list appears, which Nick the Griff claims is padded with thousands of names of people the BNP have had no contact with at all (but the rabid Union of All Fascists will no doubt target them anyway). And it seems the BBC, who resisted Hain's attempts at bullying, might have been 'got at' too
The best job in this country at the moment has got to be that of press officer for the BNP. He doesn't have to do a damn thing. He can party all night and sleep all day. The whole of Westminster, along with their crusty little pet activists, are doing the job far better than any press office could ever manage. Surely someone in Westminster can see what the public are going to make of all this?
Kerry McCarthy is quite open about the reasons for stopping MEP's using Westminster premises. It's to keep Nick the Griff and Bronze Andy at bay. It's to keep people's elected representatives out of Parliament. That is what people see in that action. Not just those who voted for them. I don't agree with their policies but they were elected. Not by me, but then neither were any of those currently in Parliament. On that basis, any MEP of any party is on the same footing, for me, as any MP of any party. What I see here is suppression of an alternative view. It's not my view that's being suppressed but if they get away with suppressing the BNP, they'd have no trouble shutting me up. Or any other individual or small party. If they can once get away with changing the law to exclude a political opponent they don't like, well ...
That is what the public see in all this, those that don't react with the auto-responder permanently cranked up to 'racist-Nazi-bigot-neanderthal-thug' every time those three letters are mentioned. People who would not have dreamed of voting BNP, who might otherwise have heard little to nothing of that party, are wondering what all the fuss is about. Why are the government so scared of them? Why are they so desperate to silence this small party? What do they offer that the government doesn't? Let's face it, so many people are so furious with our current MPs - all of them - that they would be interested in voting for any party that the Brown Gorgon's nosegoblins say they shouldn't. Mainly to get revenge, that's true, but again, someone in Westminster must realise that's likely to happen. They surely must see that when they set their UAF dogs on people who aren't actually causing any trouble, that the public are perfectly capable of determining who is having a march and who has turned up for a fight. Especially when the UAF dress like Al-Qaeda operatives.
So if they know, and they must know, that the electorate are so angry that they might deliberately vote for the party our current government hate the most, just to annoy them, why then would all those parties point out who it is they hate and fear the most? Labour might as well start printing 'Vote BNP' badges ready for the next election.
I've often said that everything the Righteous do backfires. Once more, their attempts to silence a party they don't like is backfiring in spectacular fashion. The more they attempt to suppress and silence the BNP, the more people wonder why. As their efforts become more and more deviously underhanded, mixed with open bullying and violence, people stop wondering why the government hate the BNP so much.
They start wondering what would happen if the government took a dislike to them. They see the techniques aimed at a party they don't know much about because nobody will let the BNP speak and they think, 'Well, they're doing that for no other reason than they don't like this bunch. So what will they do if they decide they don't like me?' Then they think about it a little more and they realise something important.
This post isn't actually about the BNP, you see. So anyone currently suffering tinnitus and steam coming from their ears, chill out, have a smoke and a double brandy and relax. It is not a post in support of the BNP nor is it a post attacking the BNP. This is about what is happening to the BNP so look again, and ask if it could happen to you.
Would your government take a view opposing yours and silence you, and those who would speak for you, and refuse to countenance any debate at all that would let you have a say? Would your government use lies and deceit to override anythng you might want to do or say? Would your government use the law against you, demonise and punish you, encourage others to treat you as subhuman, for no other reason than they just don't like you?
Do you smoke? Drink? Drive? Are you a little on the portly side?
Can you see why the BNP support is growing? It's not because people are all suddenly racist, it's not even because people are all suddenly in tune with all the BNP policies on all the other things because they're pretty much the same policies Old Labour used to have.
People have seen the way the government are working on the BNP and they are thinking about that while they shiver outside for a smoke, while they queue in those bars for a two-drink maximum, while they hear about the new, hard-to-spot speed cameras that don't flash so you don't know whether you're fined until the letter arrives. They are reading about fat people beaten up for being fat, they are watching the NHS video of a smoker beaten unconscious by invisible Righteous, they are consoling children scared to death by the drowning puppies of the global warming religion, they are wondering why their government thinks they are all paedophiles, they are crossing the road to avoid Labour's generation of uneducated, untouchable yobs, they are counting the times they have been stopped and searched for taking a photo...
People aren't looking at the treatment of the BNP and thinking 'They could do that to me'.
They are thinking 'They have done that to me'.
The government tell me the BNP are evil racists. Well, they've already told me I am personally evil because I smoke. I'm even more evil because I like a drink. I'm yet more evil because my salt and fat intake is nowhere near the recommended amounts. I carry a camera everywhere. I'm a crazed 'global warming denier'. Looking at the list of things this government calls me evil for being and doing, Satan had better watch out for his job. So when they call the BNP evil, I'm supposed to consider that a different type of evil or something?
I'm not going to vote BNP. Too socialist, too controlling, and I'm not keen on the extent of that repatriation thing either. But I'm not the only one classed as Satan's heir. There are millions out there who have been demonised far more than me. Why would they vote BNP?
Why would they not?

SOME THOUGHTS ON COMMUNITY
The Equalities Commission's imposing its idea of "equality" on our party will give us a great boost.
These idiots, many of them from overseas do not understand the idea of community.
They say the BNP is against alien people "just because they are black" That is rubbish.
All people want to belong to a community of people like them, and who have been brought up in the same area under the same rules.
Other people can sometimes come in provided there are not enough of them to dilute the character of the district and provided they are not too different themselves.
People have allegiances to their communities which are often quite small in numbers and area and rivalries occur between groups living in close proximity.
Thus I am a Billinger and a Wiganer, not because I live there but because I feel it in my heart as a result of my upbringing. I will always back Wigan and Wiganers in anything even tiddlywinks against any other town (including dare I say it here, St Helens or Leigh).
I would expect them to have the same feeling about their towns.
Thinking of wider areas I will always support Lancashire against any other county. I even have an affinity to Liverpool having been born and educated there.
Even wider I prefer Northerners to Southerners as their attitudes are more similar to the ones with which I was brought up.
I would STRONGLY object to Wigan suddenly accomodating a 30% population of people from say Surrey even though they were of the same British tradition religion and COLOUR.
A few can be OK but a massive influx would alter the character of our community.
Tensions can be seen it the "West Country" over the increasing numbers of people moving there from the suburbs of London as a result of "white flight"
The wider you cast your net the more different people and their traditions are and the less easily they assimilate.
People from Europe in small numbers can assimilate and not destroy our ways but people from other continents with different religions and customs are more difficult, and sometimes impossible.
Massive influxes over a short time will and are destroying all our local allegiances and customs.
That is why I am in the BNP.
I believe in localism. I want to preserve our Lancashire ways. I want to preserve and strengthen our customs and community spirit. I do not want it usurped by anyone wherever they come from, whether from Southern England, Europe or Africa or Asia, even though the former are British, our brothers and the same as us but with different local customs and attitudes and with a similar heritage and BELONG in Britain.
I like OUR Northern towns and their people and want to keep them as they are.
I dont want large numbers of people from other areas to come here in large numbers whatever the pigmentation of their skin and certainly not from other countries. That way our sense of belonging and community would be lost.
I BELONG HERE! THEY DON'T
Colour has bugger all to do with it.

THE POWER OF THE BNP.
For those who sometimes doubt the value of voting for the BNP the answer is in today's Daily Mail.
Communities secretary John Denham has announced a plan to pump "£millions" in to predominantly white areas to improve the education of working class white children and "cut off support for far right political groups"(that's us folks)
His words show his anxiety about our party and the threat to the cosy political consensus now obtaining.
We have as yet no representation in Parliament and let's face it only a relatively small electoral base, but in spite of this they are showing by their words and actions their fear of us.
Less than 10% of the national vote but even now we are influencing government policy and they fear our increasing support.
The moral of this story?. A BNP vote is worth far more than a vote for any other party.
Remember this at the next election. A vote for any other party is a WASTED vote and a vote for the destruction of our country.

FREE SPEECH v HATE SPEECH
Welcome to Europe, where many say the difference between free speech and hate speech is dictated by left-wing political correctness and fear of Islam.
"Free speech is coming under increasing pressure by the day," Lars Hedegaard, head of the International Free Press Society, told CBN News.
It does not matter if the criticism is factual.
For instance, Islam teaches that when Mohammed was 52, he consummated his marriage to a 9-year-old girl. But when Austrian politician Susanne Winter said that, in today's world, Mohammed would be considered a child molester, she was convicted of hate speech.
Dutch Parliament member Geert Wilders is awaiting trial on the charge of "inciting hatred and discrimination." In Wilders' short film about Islamic violence "Fitna," he simply reprinted violent verses from the Koran itself and added video of radical sermons and photos of Islamic terrorism.
"He's being accused of hate speech for repeating in a film what radical imams and religious leaders have been saying about their own motives and their beliefs," Hedegaard said. "They're not being prosecuted for hate speech. He's being prosecuted for repeating it."

JUDGE THEM BY THEIR FRIENDS
What have Peter Mandelson, Jack Straw, John Reid, Mick Mc Gahey formerly of the miners union and Jack Jones (formerly of the TUC) in common? They are or were ex communists during the "Cold War" when The Soviet Union was our mortal enemy and indeed Jack Straw and even Harold Wilson had an MI5 file for potential subversion and Jack Jones, "one of the greatest trade unionists" some say, was a KGB agent.
I have no doubt our Party is under surveillance for "subversion", for that read patriotism as that is the new subversive activity. I am probably being watched. I hope I am as it will just waste their time as I have nothing to hide and I break no laws and have a clean police record
Who secured funding for a fundamentalist mosque in his costituencyfrom a foreign Islamic prince? Jack Straw.
Which murderers have friendly relations with the Labour Party? Those nice people Martin Mc Guinness and Gerry Adams of the IRA, the former of whom was invited to the same hotel at this year's Labour party conference?
Who was invited to the Houses of Parliament by the labour Party recently? Patrick Magee the man who planted the bomb.
What connects the above people?
They were all anti British and several of them murderers.
Who do these people refuse to share a stage with? on account of his views?
Nick Griffin of course.(I believe Jack Straw has now reluctantly agreed to debate with Nick on Question Time)
Nick's "crime"? To stick up for the British people, making his views "unacceptable".
A clearer demonstration of the anti British opinions of these people of influence and their murderous friends could not be found.
They are all frightened of the exposure of their anti British agenda.
It's just a pity many people as yet can not see it but we are growing and the TRUTH will always eventually win through.
Those who wish to destroy our country will NEVER prevail. We will see to that.

DAVID HAYE, HEAVYWEIGHT BOXER
... a man 6'3" tall and weighing 16 stone - a black man I have the utmost respect for.
WHY? you ask.
Because he plans to have a fight with ... THAT!!!
Voluntarily.
I'm not claiming I would never fight it - but we'd have to start the fight 300yds apart, him unarmed (preferably literally), with his legs tied together, and me armed with a SLR and two spare mags. Then I MIGHT consider it if I was offered enough money.

WORLD CUP 2010
Seeing as how the world cup tournament next year is taking place in S. Africa, I thought it might be a good idea to run a link to to this S. African blog, so that any Wiganers planning to attend will not be taken by surprise when they get there.
Besides, the first couple of pictures will make you laugh yourselves silly (I daren't reprint them here for fear of the three of us being prosecuted for "race hate". Those two pics alone are worth posting the link for). The positioning of the donkey's tail gives an indication of what it thinks might be about to happen.
You didn't think the Beeb and the rest of the media told you the truth about S. Africa did you? For instance - have you ever heard on the telly that since the blacks took power there, there have been 3,083 murders of Boer farmers? And almost none have been straightforward murders - torture to death of men, women, children, old folk, is more the norm. And rarely any theft, which in itself tells you a lot of what's really going on - blacks ethnic cleansing whites.

RACE: A CULTURAL CONSTRUCT? WHAT ABOUT CULTURE: A RACIAL CONSTRUCT?
We white people are constantly being told we are racist. What do those who say this mean by it? Frankly, they don't know themselves what they mean by it. It seems to me that what they mean is anyone is racist who thinks differently from them.
Personally, I don't think race is a cultural construct; racial differences are real. I much prefer the idea that culture is a racial construct. For example, all cultures created by European peoples (includes America, Australia etc) are very roughly similar, and they were like this long before modern communications appeared (were invented ... and by who?). Look at all sub-Saharan cultures; they are very roughly similar. All middle-Eastern cultures are very roughly similar; all Oriental cultures are very roughly similar. On these facts I base my thoughts on the relationships between races and cultures.
Different races are different. Different cultures are different. Race came first.
So what do people mean by racism? They don't know themselves - they're just told it so they suck it in and adopt as a belief. Put an hour to one side to watch this film from America. Very informative indeed.

A TOFFS DRINKING CHARTER.
The Tory attempts to try to become more connected with "the people" was shown at their conference this week.
Champagne it was ordered must not be drunk publicly (why anybody wants to drink it at all escapes me)but beer was OK. Mustn't have people feeling Tories are toffs.
There was a discussion on how to cut down on the drunken behaviour which blights our streets and it was suggested that the price of cheap alcohol be made dearer as a deterrant to heavy drinking. Expensive wines and Champagne which are consumed mainly by "nice" people would not be affected.
This presupposes two things.
First that more affluent people who would be able to afford higher prices can handle their drink better than the "proles".
And secondly when drunk they conduct themselves in a more polite manner, forgetting the antics of Boris and "Call me Dave" in the Bullingdon Club and Prince Harry and his friends when out clubbing in London.
The answer is simple.
Very tough penalties for drunken aggression by whatever class.
Increased taxes on supermarkets and off licences selling alcohol and reduced taxes for pubs (not clubs).
That way pubs would be able to compete and all could have reasonably priced alcohol and our social fabric would be improved.
Why should the average drinker be penalised for the sins of a minority of yobs?

Increased taxes on supermarkets and off licences selling alcohol and reduced taxes for pubs (not clubs).
That way pubs would be able to compete and all could have reasonably priced alcohol and our social fabric would be improved.
Why should the average drinker be penalised for the sins of a minority of yobs?

ISLAM AND EUROPE
It's not just here - it's all over Europe. Here is an example from Germany. We like Germany don't we? Well, I do anyway. I have lived and worked in Hamburg and I really liked it there. Of course, in those days Muslims were few and far between. The early part of this film (from Hamburg)really shocked me.
I'll be posting films from all over Europe now and again. It's a problem caused by the EU making the rules for immigration.
We all know the real solution don't we folks ...

SOME ECONOMIC THOUGHTS
The boring Tory conference had only a few ideas on how to reduce the £8o billion deficit in government spending , which we must. A key proposal was to raise the pension age to 66.
In total they would save £ 7 billion, less than 10% of what is needed.
More effective measures are quite simple and will not hurt as much.
Here are mine.
1 Stop all foreign aid saving at least £7 billion.
2 Withdraw from all foreign wars including Afganistan.
3Freeze all pensions paid by the state to a maximum of £40,000 per year.
4Come out of the EU.
5 Scrap the Human Rights act.
6 Scrap the Identity Card project.
7 Scrap the Equalities Commission.
8 Stop subsidies for ethnic minorities and paying for interpreters for them. If they live here they should speak English or pay for their own interpreters.
9 Round up all illegal immigrants and deport them. Curtail the right of legal aid in appeals.
10 Reintroduce discipline in schools enforced by army personnel if necessary instead of spending thousands on special one to one teaching for unruly pupils.
11 Make jails tougher.Cram more people in if needed. Bring the birch back for thugs. Make criminals reluctant to go back but rehabilitate them better to prepare them for life outside.
12 Have a limit of £ 100,000 on any taxpayer funded job.
13 Stop paying £billions for PR and quangos.
Reduce bureaucracy in local councils and the NHS, and stop "non jobs" such as smoking cessation officers and healthy eating officials.
14 Improve the efficiency of job centres. Many are employed writing CVs to help people to find non existant jobs. We must encourage job creation.
15 Make the young unemployed earn their dole by doing jobs for the elderly.
16 Reduce "targets" and useless forms of bureaucracy.
17Cut down much of Health and Safety law.
18 Reduce housing benefit. This would make landlords unable to charge high rents and bring the price of houses down.
It is ridiculous to expect older people to work longer while the young are not working.
NOW THE HARD BIT.
Raise the minimum wage to £8 per hour, encouraging people to work, but cut manufacturing business taxes to compensate them for this and thus create more jobs and encourage more people back to work.
Reduce income tax and insurance for the low paid-- BUT---
Increase VAT to 20%. As most of our goods are foreign made it would be a tax on imports and discourage the "throw away society" and thus conserve resources.
These are a few of MY thoughts of how to rebuild our country and NOT PARTY POLICY. I have others but I believe these are a start and could be done without too much pain.
There are many other things we should do, but WHICH IS BETTER?
Working to 66 or 67 and going broke or trying the above.
What do you think?

TORY DOPUBLE SPEAK ON THE EURO
David Cameron's reluctance to come clean on a referendum as promised on the EU and the reason he gives do not hold water.
I think he hoped Ireland would get him off the hook by again voting NO but that was not to be.
Cameron does not want to commit himself to hold a referendum if the Tories are the next government, his excuse being that he does not want to pre empt the Polish decision or influence the Czech decision.
What a whimp. The Irish seem according to his argument to have pre empted our right to a say on our future as will the Poles when they as they will do when they vote to join.
No Cameron is afraid of his Europhile Tory colleagues more so than his concern for the rights of the British people. He just wants a peaceful conference without disagreement.
It is no use him saying he will re negotiate if we have become part of that Soviet grouping.
If he had any guts he should say that any treaty which involved our country without the promised referendum will be considered void if the Tories take power and we will withdraw from it He tries to portray himself as a tough patriot but he is really a self serving chicken.
He will regret this as our party and UKIP will possibly prevent his party from being elected with a working majority.
At the next election a BNP vote will count for far more than in previous elections as all the other parties apart from UKIP are committed to give our sovereignty away either by design or default and the latter are only a one trick party with no policies on economics or immigration.
It's not in the bag yet Cameron!

NO CHAMPION OF SKEM
An article in the Skelmersdale Champion on 30/9/09 has the headline "BNP SLURS TOWN".
This is a reaction to a post on the BNP website criticising new towns which mentioned Skem.
Of course with the New labour slant on all they print they try to suggest that we are criticising the people of Skem.
THAT IS NOT SO.The post sympathised with the people obliged to live there who were duped into believing they were going to be housed in a new Utopia.
The post criticised the general architecture of the town and compared the moving of people there into Soviet style houses was akin to moving Scousers to a reservation as was done to native Americans.
The houses are ill designed and cost a fortune to heat and the general layout of the town does not address peoples need for community.
The town is constructed around the car with little pedestrian consideration and the houses have communal car parking and often little privacy. They were built as a social experiment and took more notice of archtects grandiose plans than people's needs.
The fact that over the past 20 years expensive modifications had to be put in place proves this.
Tenants who complained of damp in the poorly insulated houses were told it was condensation and to open the windows, a rather expensive remedy.
Of course the local Labour councillor was trotted in to voice her disgust as is typical of this rag.
No response was asked from our party.
The fact that Skem is ill built is no refection on the people obliged to live there. Our post showed our sympathy with the people who have suffered by this experiment.
A final word on the Skem Champion rag and a way to judge its quality and accuracy. THEY GOT THE DATE OF THE BNP POST WRONG.
The post was on SEPTEMBER 26th and not August 26th as stated in the article.

ENGLAND v UKRAINE
Anyone else out there feel they know the REAL reason that the England match will not be shown in any pubs and clubs and will only be shown live on the internet on Saturday evening?

THOUGHT PROVOKING
This blogger is not a nationalist, but I read his blog every day - both because he writes very well indeed, and because he is frequently thought-provoking. I recommend others do the same :
"
Imagine an island populated only by cattle. These cattle do what they want all day long - okay, what they want doesn't amount to much but they do it, and they're happy doing it.
One day, some people arrive. They see the cattle and think 'We could sell the milk and get rich.' So they take the milk from the cattle and sell it to other islands. Since they only take a small amount of each cow's milk, the cattle don't mind too much. The calves still get most of the milk.
Some people milk more cows than others. Some get up early and work hard while others sit around most of the day and produce a couple of pints, if anything. Therefore, some people are getting richer than others. At this point, the people start arguing. They split into two groups. One group argues that those who do more work are entitled to more profit. Others argue that everyone should get the same, no matter how much work they do.
Further, the first group argues that the most productive of the cattle should be rewarded. The second group argues that the least productive cattle should be compensated.
Since there are few people, and many cattle, the cattle get to decide who should run the island. One group wants to let the cattle produce as they can, and reward the high milk-produers along with the humans who work to milk them. They also believe that letting the cattle keep most of their milk is a good thing, because the cattle then invest that milk in strong calves which is good for the future. The other group believes that the milk belongs to every cow, no matter who produced it, and that they, as the island's rulers, should collect it all and redistribute that part of it they don't keep for themselves. All calves should be treated as being exactly the same, no matter their potential.
So the cows must decide.
All they hear by way of argument is 'The other side will be worse'. They hear no promises to let them keep more of their milk because both sides need to take the cow's milk in order to profit from it. They hear, from each side, that the other side will either take all their milk and then treat their calves as communal property, or that the other side will cut the heat in the milking sheds and use ice-cold milking equipment out of a malicious insistence on profit.
Through all this, the argument is not 'Look what we will do for you', but 'Look what they will do to you'.
The cows are confused. They don't know which side to choose. Most of them abstain. Some listen to a third group which promises to remove the people altogether and return the island to cow rule. Around a third of the cows feel strongly enough to decide one way or the other but most have noticed something important in all the people's posturings.
"They are not fighting for us. They are fighting over us. We are just the source of the milk they want and neither side cares about us at all. We are cattle. We produce milk. They produce nothing and yet they will take our milk and profit from it. Why vote? They are all the same."
Reading the latest political pronouncements from either side made me feel like one of those cattle. Labour, Tory, Lib Dem are not fighting for us. They don't want to rule the country for the good of its people. They are fighting over us. They are fighting each other for our votes, not by promising us anything, but by telling us what terrible things the others will do. They want to rule the country for their own benefit and in order to do that, they must impose strict controls on their cattle.
There's a saying that was once light-hearted, but no longer. "It doesn't matter who you vote for. The government always gets in". It has never been more true.
Low voter turnout is not about disinterest in politics. It is because people are increasingly realising this one simple truth. Politicians of all parties are fighting each other for power over us and it really doesn't matter any more which of the major parties wins. Labour's manifesto is the clearest on this point. It amounts to 'We can't let the Tories win' and that really is it. There is no more to it than that at all. The other parties are arguing along much the same lines - not 'what we can do for you' but 'whatever we do, they'll be worse'.
They want power. They have no intention of weilding that power on our behalf. It's for them, not for us. Power for the sake of power. Power as an end in itself, not as a tool to improve our lives. They will make promises but they will not keep those promises once they have what they want - power - because it is all they want. Once they have it, they can take whatever we produce for themselves.
In their eyes, we are cattle to be milked.
So should we all stay home on polling day? I say no, because that would guarantee the milking continues, and the cattle pens get smaller still. Look at the independents and the smaller parties. Vote for them. You will be browbeaten with 'It's a wasted vote'. Ignore that. It is the sound of fear from the current controllers. The only truly wasted vote is one that is not used.
Sixty-odd percent of the electorate don't vote. If they all turned out and voted for the smaller parties, the big three would vanish overnight. Remember, they don't even have all of the thirty or forty percent of votes from those who do turn up on polling day. Not even when all their votes are added up.
It is possible, with your vote, to wipe all the current parties from government.
You who voted gave them that power and those of you who don't vote are allowing them to keep it. You can take it from them. A vote is a weapon, the only real weapon we have left. Use it.
Otherwise, the milking continues as usual."

The rules of liberal democracy state that a wide range of voices must be heard and the rules of the BBC state that politicians with enough electoral support can appear on Question Time. The BNP, unfortunately, is now in this position. As a liberal I subscribe to the ideal of diversity - I may hate your views but will defend to the death your right to express them in a democratic society.
Question Time last night fell way short of this imperative. The format of the programme was totally and utterly skewed to shape it into an all out, hour long attack on Nick Griffin and his (odious) policies. All of the rest of the panel attacked at every opportunity like mad dogs, as did the supposedly independent chairman and the supposedly balanced audience (all liberals like me it seemed). The questions were all loaded against Nick Griffin - where were the questions on the postal strike or any other current event, as there usually would be?
What's the problem you say - doesn't the BNP deserve it? Well yes I expect they do, but to screen a wholly biased lynching of this sort will only serve one purpose and that is to increase the standing of the BNP and give it what it most wants, to be seen as a victim bulied and excluded by an unaccountable liberal media and political elite. Hitler achieved power exactly by engineering hysterical confrontations and then milking them for all it was worth.
Let us ask one question - who seemed most hysterical and unreasonable last night, NIck Griffin or the panel and audience, particularly Jack Straw? This is not the way to deal with the BNP. Reasoned and calm argument is. More of this and the flames of fascism really will be fanned and then liberalism in Britain really will face an enormous challenge from which it may never recover."
When I last looked it had been 'recommended' by 119 Guardian readers - so we do have some civilised opponents out there.
Yours very angrily,
