AWAITING TOMORROW WITH OPTIMISM

Well that's it! We're in the hands of the voters now. We've tried our best.
Thanks to all who have helped our effort especially Anita, John and Bob without whom we would not have accomplished so much.
The response at the doors has been positive without the "screamers" (idiots who think abuse and ranting a substitute for reasonable discussion) bothering us.
Things have changed over the past 5 years and peoples attitudes to us have been much more friendly than previously as we become more mainstream and well known.
We of course have the usual hatchet jobs in the press and difficulties in advertising but this demonstrates the establishment and big business becoming more concerned about our progress, and nothing of note has been revealed. I regard their destructive tactics as a sign of their desperation and a compliment.
Compare that with the corruption incompetence and sleaze of the other parties and it could be said that we are whiter than white (no pun intended).
We are seen as representing a valid point of view and our concerns over the way the country is being destroyed is striking a chord with many people who have to suffer the consequences, unprotected by the ever more powerful state.
People have seen our policies and increasing numbers are realising that things will only get worse unless they are adopted.
BUT AGREEING WITH US IS NO GOOD IF THEY DO NOT VOTE.

So I ask all BNP supporters to VOTE tomorrow.

We may not win but an increased share will demonstrate our progress and frighten the corrupt people running this council and government and will further the salvation of our country.

BEST OF LUCK TO ALL OUR FRIENDS ALL OVER THE COUNTRY.

Electoral Fraud

As can be seen from the extracts published here - and the original document linked to at the bottom of the post, the British government – a Labour government – is wilfully refusing to see any evidence of electoral fraud. Note that: wilfully refusing. They simply will not set in place systems to even record instances of electoral fraud. So how can anyone expect that they will set in place procedures to prevent it?

As the lawyers say “Cui bono?” or “Who benefits?” This most usually refers to who benefits in financial terms, but it needn’t necessarily refer only to financial aspects of criminal or any other matters. How did they come by this expression?

The Roman orator and statesman Marcus Tullius Cicero, in his speech Pro Roscio Amerino, section 84, attributed the expression Cui bono? to the Roman consul and censor Lucius Cassius Longinus Ravilla:

L. Cassius ille quem populus Romanus verissimum et sapientissimum iudicem putabat identidem in causis quaerere solebat 'cui bono' fuisset.

The famous Lucius Cassius, whom the Roman people used to regard as a very honest and wise judge, was in the habit of asking, time and again, 'To whose benefit?'

So in light of this government’s wilful refusal to prevent, or even properly record, matters of electoral fraud, we have to follow Cicero’s rule. Who benefits? It is a racing certainty that if someone else was benefitting at the expense of the Labour party, the government would be all over the issue like a rash – it being a Labour party government.

You will not come away from this posting – or the link it’s extracted from – with any confidence in the integrity of our electoral system, any confidence that the fraud is “accidental”, or any confidence that this Labour government has the slightest intention of putting things right.

Liberal Democrat MP House of Commons, 22 June 2005.

Testimony before the Committee on Standards in Public Life: Nobody appears to have done detailed research in relation to it [electoral fraud]. Statement by a Minister in the Department for Constitutional Affairs,Committee on Standards in Public Life, evidence session held on 21 September 2006.

There is a dearth of clear and comprehensive statistics:
No comprehensive statistics of electoral offences reported to electoral authorities, to the police or to the Crown Prosecution service.
No statistics on cases prosecuted or on the number of persons convicted;
No statistics of numbers prosecuted for electoral registration and postal voting offences;
No comprehensive statistics of number of persons receiving prison sentences;
No statistics on tendered ballots.

AUTHOR’S NOTE: A tendered ballot is a special ballot cast when an elector comes to a polling station and finds that a vote in his or her name has already been cast. The number of tendered ballots is thus an indication of the extent of incompetently carried out eletoral fraud. Competently carried out fraudulent voting does not risk discovery when the genuine elector comes to the polling booths: votes are cast in the names of electors known to be dead or abroad or in the names of non-exisitent persons whose names have been entered onto the register of electors.

How many investigations, prosecutions and convictions for electoral fraud have there been in recent years?

THE OFFICIAL VIEW

Since 1998 there have been only four recorded prosecutions for electoral fraud. Ministerial statements to both Houses of Parliament, April 2005.

2004 61
2005 65

Article in the Sunday Times, 21 January 2007
Postal voting is a giant fiddle

Is electoral fraud “very rare” in Britain, as the Department for Constitutional Affairs still insists? Or should we believe Richard Mawrey QC, the judge in the infamous Birmingham vote rigging cases of 2005, that the government is “in denial” about standards of conduct in British elections — especially local elections — that “would disgrace a banana republic”? …

In April 2005 there was a ministerial statement to the Commons that there had been only four recorded prosecutions for electoral fraud in seven years. The operative word was “recorded”. Few cases were on a central record because there had been no effort to record them.

When I finally received a set of basic statistics from the Crown Prosecution Service a few days ago, they revealed that there were no fewer than 390 cases of alleged electoral offences in the past seven years. It is not yet known how many of them resulted in prosecutions. What is certain is that they run a coach and horses through the government’s complacent claims.

Chief Superintendent Dave Murray, of Thames Valley police, reportedly wrote to the Electoral Commission in 2005 that vote riggers would develop “a feeling of untouchability” because the law made it so hard for them to be successfully prosecuted. Police had uncovered evidence of widespread postal voting fraud in the Redlands ward of Reading. Of 46 postal vote applications examined, only two were authentic. But the identity of those who had forged the applications could not be proved.

In several cases the number of forged votes has run into the hundreds or thousands. Mawrey’s estimate was of at least 1,000 forged votes in the 2004 elections in the Birmingham city ward of Aston and 1,500-2,000 in nearby Bordesley Green.

My analysis of some 20 cases shows that a majority of them involve wards in inner cities with high proportions of Asians. … A majority involve abuses of postal voting.

ATTACK ON FREE SPEECH

Two days ago I was asked if Wigan BNP would like to place an advertisment in the Wigan Reporter. After much thought we decided to take advantage of the offer in spite of the cost. I spent several hours in communication with the girl at the paper who was very helpful and paid for the adverts. At 3.15pm today I was rung by the editor and told that he was unwilling to publish our advert as there was a problem with our mentioning Tibet and comparing it to the situation in this country. Also he said that there were statements about the other Parties which were untrue.
I told him I had not said anything that was not true and they had previously published allegations that our membership contained Nazis. This he denied.
I think the Left wing NUJ have stuck their oar in and that we are getting too close to the truth which they can not tolerate.
I told him he could "stick his paper" , we would want our money back and that in future we would use the internet and thus evade this unjustified censorship.
The good thing about this is that they have lost money, we have kept ours and hopefully people in using the internet, will stop reading their censored rag cost them sales as a result.
Read the advert and see if you can see anything objectionable.
If you agree with me that it is OK, please spread it around on the net as an example of censorship and help us regain our freedom of speech.

A DAY OF REST

After a hard 3 hours leafletting awoke this morning as stiff as a board, but satisfied that two of us had delivered 600 leaflets.
Work continues tomorrow. Hard work for an oldie like me but it gives me the feeling that I have done my duty, far better than sitting on my backside and complaining about the betrayal of the people of this country by this corrupt and incompetent government.
It is difficult to understand why anyone could support this bunch of liars and thieves unless they are part of it.
Anyone who can help with our leafletting, even for a couple of hours please ring 07779 321542

The Famous Misnomer

Today is the fortieth anniversary of Enoch Powell's famous – or infamous, depending on your point of view Elliot – and misnamed “Rivers of Blood” speech. How many of you have actually read it all? As a public information service, I publish it here in its entirety. Read it, think about it. Read it again.

Since this speech we’ve had riots in several parts of London; Birmingham; Liverpool; Oldham; Burnley; and more. We’ve had the mass murders and maiming in London on July 7th 2005; uncovered at least one plot to murder thousands of innocent people on trans-Atlantic flights; torture and murder of young boys like Kriss Donald, solely (in the very words of one of the perpetrators) because he was white … and on and on and on. As far as I can see the only bit he got wrong was the timing. And time is ongoing …

And this speech is about so much more than blood on the streets. Read it – and while you’re doing so, think of obscenities like “The Wigan and Leigh Hate Crimes Unit”, and its like all over the country.

Enoch Powell is not easy to read - it is well worth the effort.

All emphases are mine.

Enoch Powell:

The supreme function of statesmanship is to provide against preventable evils. In seeking to do so, it encounters obstacles which are deeply rooted in human nature.

One is that by the very order of things such evils are not demonstrable until they have occurred: at each stage in their onset there is room for doubt and for dispute whether they be real or imaginary. By the same token, they attract little attention in comparison with current troubles, which are both indisputable and pressing: whence the besetting temptation of all politics to concern itself with the immediate present at the expense of the future.

Above all, people are disposed to mistake predicting troubles for causing troubles and even for desiring troubles: "If only," they love to think, "if only people wouldn't talk about it, it probably wouldn't happen." Perhaps this habit goes back to the primitive belief that the word and the thing, the name and the object, are identical.

At all events, the discussion of future grave but, with effort now, avoidable evils is the most unpopular and at the same time the most necessary occupation for the politician. Those who knowingly shirk it deserve, and not infrequently receive, the curses of those who come after.

A week or two ago I fell into conversation with a constituent, a middle-aged, quite ordinary working man employed in one of our nationalised industries. After a sentence or two about the weather, he suddenly said: "If I had the money to go, I wouldn't stay in this country." I made some deprecatory reply to the effect that even this government wouldn't last for ever; but he took no notice, and continued: "I have three children, all of them been through grammar school and two of them married now, with family. I shan't be satisfied till I have seen them all settled overseas. In this country in 15 or 20 years' time the black man will have the whip hand over the white man."

I can already hear the chorus of execration. How dare I say such a horrible thing? How dare I stir up trouble and inflame feelings by repeating such a conversation?

The answer is that I do not have the right not to do so. Here is a decent, ordinary fellow Englishman, who in broad daylight in my own town says to me, his Member of Parliament, that his country will not be worth living in for his children. I simply do not have the right to shrug my shoulders and think about something else. What he is saying, thousands and hundreds of thousands are saying and thinking - not throughout Great Britain, perhaps, but in the areas that are already undergoing the total transformation to which there is no parallel in a thousand years of English history.

In 15 or 20 years, on present trends, there will be in this country three and a half million Commonwealth immigrants and their descendants. That is not my figure. That is the official figure given to parliament by the spokesman of the Registrar General's Office.

There is no comparable official figure for the year 2000, but it must be in the region of five to seven million, approximately one-tenth of the whole population, and approaching that of Greater London. Of course, it will not be evenly distributed from Margate to Aberystwyth and from Penzance to Aberdeen. Whole areas, towns and parts of towns across England will be occupied by sections of the immigrant and immigrant-descended population.

As time goes on, the proportion of this total who are immigrant descendants, those born in England, who arrived here by exactly the same route as the rest of us, will rapidly increase. Already by 1985 the native-born would constitute the majority. It is this fact which creates the extreme urgency of action now, of just that kind of action which is hardest for politicians to take, action where the difficulties lie in the present but the evils to be prevented or minimised lie several parliaments ahead.

The natural and rational first question with a nation confronted by such a prospect is to ask: "How can its dimensions be reduced?" Granted it be not wholly preventable, can it be limited, bearing in mind that numbers are of the essence: the significance and consequences of an alien element introduced into a country or population are profoundly different according to whether that element is 1 per cent or 10 per cent.

The answers to the simple and rational question are equally simple and rational: by stopping, or virtually stopping, further inflow, and by promoting the maximum outflow. Both answers are part of the official policy of the Conservative Party.

It almost passes belief that at this moment 20 or 30 additional immigrant children are arriving from overseas in Wolverhampton alone every week - and that means 15 or 20 additional families a decade or two hence. Those whom the gods wish to destroy, they first make mad. We must be mad, literally mad, as a nation to be permitting the annual inflow of some 50,000 dependants, who are for the most part the material of the future growth of the immigrant-descended population. It is like watching a nation busily engaged in heaping up its own funeral pyre. So insane are we that we actually permit unmarried persons to immigrate for the purpose of founding a family with spouses and fiancés whom they have never seen.

Let no one suppose that the flow of dependants will automatically tail off. On the contrary, even at the present admission rate of only 5,000 a year by voucher, there is sufficient for a further 25,000 dependants per annum ad infinitum, without taking into account the huge reservoir of existing relations in this country - and I am making no allowance at all for fraudulent entry. In these circumstances nothing will suffice but that the total inflow for settlement should be reduced at once to negligible proportions, and that the necessary legislative and administrative measures be taken without delay.

I stress the words "for settlement." This has nothing to do with the entry of Commonwealth citizens, any more than of aliens, into this country, for the purposes of study or of improving their qualifications, like (for instance) the Commonwealth doctors who, to the advantage of their own countries, have enabled our hospital service to be expanded faster than would otherwise have been possible. They are not, and never have been, immigrants.

I turn to re-emigration. If all immigration ended tomorrow, the rate of growth of the immigrant and immigrant-descended population would be substantially reduced, but the prospective size of this element in the population would still leave the basic character of the national danger unaffected. This can only be tackled while a considerable proportion of the total still comprises persons who entered this country during the last ten years or so.

Hence the urgency of implementing now the second element of the Conservative Party's policy: the encouragement of re-emigration.

Nobody can make an estimate of the numbers which, with generous assistance, would choose either to return to their countries of origin or to go to other countries anxious to receive the manpower and the skills they represent. Nobody knows, because no such policy has yet been attempted. I can only say that, even at present, immigrants in my own constituency from time to time come to me, asking if I can find them assistance to return home. If such a policy were adopted and pursued with the determination which the gravity of the alternative justifies, the resultant outflow could appreciably alter the prospects.

The third element of the Conservative Party's policy is that all who are in this country as citizens should be equal before the law and that there shall be no discrimination or difference made between them by public authority. As Mr Heath has put it we will have no "first-class citizens" and "second-class citizens." This does not mean that the immigrant and his descendent should be elevated into a privileged or special class or that the citizen should be denied his right to discriminate in the management of his own affairs between one fellow-citizen and another or that he should be subjected to imposition as to his reasons and motive for behaving in one lawful manner rather than another.

There could be no grosser misconception of the realities than is entertained by those who vociferously demand legislation as they call it "against discrimination", whether they be leader-writers of the same kidney and sometimes on the same newspapers which year after year in the 1930s tried to blind this country to the rising peril which confronted it, or archbishops who live in palaces, faring delicately with the bedclothes pulled right up over their heads. They have got it exactly and diametrically wrong.

The discrimination and the deprivation, the sense of alarm and of resentment, lies not with the immigrant population but with those among whom they have come and are still coming.

This is why to enact legislation of the kind before parliament at this moment is to risk throwing a match on to gunpowder. The kindest thing that can be said about those who propose and support it is that they know not what they do.

Nothing is more misleading than comparison between the Commonwealth immigrant in Britain and the American Negro. The Negro population of the United States, which was already in existence before the United States became a nation, started literally as slaves and were later given the franchise and other rights of citizenship, to the exercise of which they have only gradually and still incompletely come. The Commonwealth immigrant came to Britain as a full citizen, to a country which knew no discrimination between one citizen and another, and he entered instantly into the possession of the rights of every citizen, from the vote to free treatment under the National Health Service.

Whatever drawbacks attended the immigrants arose not from the law or from public policy or from administration, but from those personal circumstances and accidents which cause, and always will cause, the fortunes and experience of one man to be different from another's.

But while, to the immigrant, entry to this country was admission to privileges and opportunities eagerly sought, the impact upon the existing population was very different. For reasons which they could not comprehend, and in pursuance of a decision by default, on which they were never consulted, they found themselves made strangers in their own country.

They found their wives unable to obtain hospital beds in childbirth, their children unable to obtain school places, their homes and neighbourhoods changed beyond recognition, their plans and prospects for the future defeated; at work they found that employers hesitated to apply to the immigrant worker the standards of discipline and competence required of the native-born worker; they began to hear, as time went by, more and more voices which told them that they were now the unwanted. They now learn that a one-way privilege is to be established by act of parliament; a law which cannot, and is not intended to, operate to protect them or redress their grievances is to be enacted to give the stranger, the disgruntled and the agent-provocateur the power to pillory them for their private actions.

In the hundreds upon hundreds of letters I received when I last spoke on this subject two or three months ago, there was one striking feature which was largely new and which I find ominous. All Members of Parliament are used to the typical anonymous correspondent; but what surprised and alarmed me was the high proportion of ordinary, decent, sensible people, writing a rational and often well-educated letter, who believed that they had to omit their address because it was dangerous to have committed themselves to paper to a Member of Parliament agreeing with the views I had expressed, and that they would risk penalties or reprisals if they were known to have done so. The sense of being a persecuted minority which is growing among ordinary English people in the areas of the country which are affected is something that those without direct experience can hardly imagine.

I am going to allow just one of those hundreds of people to speak for me:

“Eight years ago in a respectable street in Wolverhampton a house was sold to a Negro. Now only one white (a woman old-age pensioner) lives there. This is her story. She lost her husband and both her sons in the war. So she turned her seven-roomed house, her only asset, into a boarding house. She worked hard and did well, paid off her mortgage and began to put something by for her old age. Then the immigrants moved in. With growing fear, she saw one house after another taken over. The quiet street became a place of noise and confusion. Regretfully, her white tenants moved out.

“The day after the last one left, she was awakened at 7am by two Negroes who wanted to use her 'phone to contact their employer. When she refused, as she would have refused any stranger at such an hour, she was abused and feared she would have been attacked but for the chain on her door. Immigrant families have tried to rent rooms in her house, but she always refused. Her little store of money went, and after paying rates, she has less than £2 per week. “She went to apply for a rate reduction and was seen by a young girl, who on hearing she had a seven-roomed house, suggested she should let part of it. When she said the only people she could get were Negroes, the girl said, "Racial prejudice won't get you anywhere in this country." So she went home.

“The telephone is her lifeline. Her family pay the bill, and help her out as best they can. Immigrants have offered to buy her house - at a price which the prospective landlord would be able to recover from his tenants in weeks, or at most a few months. She is becoming afraid to go out. Windows are broken. She finds excreta pushed through her letter box. When she goes to the shops, she is followed by children, charming, wide-grinning piccaninnies. They cannot speak English, but one word they know. "Racialist," they chant. When the new Race Relations Bill is passed, this woman is convinced she will go to prison. And is she so wrong? I begin to wonder.”

The other dangerous delusion from which those who are wilfully or otherwise blind to realities suffer, is summed up in the word "integration." To be integrated into a population means to become for all practical purposes indistinguishable from its other members.

Now, at all times, where there are marked physical differences, especially of colour, integration is difficult though, over a period, not impossible. There are among the Commonwealth immigrants who have come to live here in the last fifteen years or so, many thousands whose wish and purpose is to be integrated and whose every thought and endeavour is bent in that direction.

But to imagine that such a thing enters the heads of a great and growing majority of immigrants and their descendants is a ludicrous misconception, and a dangerous one. We are on the verge here of a change. Hitherto it has been force of circumstance and of background which has rendered the very idea of integration inaccessible to the greater part of the immigrant population - that they never conceived or intended such a thing, and that their numbers and physical concentration meant the pressures towards integration which normally bear upon any small minority did not operate.

Now we are seeing the growth of positive forces acting against integration, of vested interests in the preservation and sharpening of racial and religious differences, with a view to the exercise of actual domination, first over fellow-immigrants and then over the rest of the population. The cloud no bigger than a man's hand, that can so rapidly overcast the sky, has been visible recently in Wolverhampton and has shown signs of spreading quickly. The words I am about to use, verbatim as they appeared in the local press on 17 February, are not mine, but those of a Labour Member of Parliament who is a minister in the present government:

'The Sikh communities' campaign to maintain customs inappropriate in Britain is much to be regretted. Working in Britain, particularly in the public services, they should be prepared to accept the terms and conditions of their employment. To claim special communal rights (or should one say rites?) leads to a dangerous fragmentation within society. This communalism is a canker; whether practised by one colour or another it is to be strongly condemned.'

All credit to John Stonehouse for having had the insight to perceive that, and the courage to say it.

For these dangerous and divisive elements the legislation proposed in the Race Relations Bill is the very pabulum they need to flourish. Here is the means of showing that the immigrant communities can organise to consolidate their members, to agitate and campaign against their fellow citizens, and to overawe and dominate the rest with the legal weapons which the ignorant and the ill-informed have provided. As I look ahead, I am filled with foreboding; like the Roman, I seem to see "the River Tiber foaming with much blood."

That tragic and intractable phenomenon which we watch with horror on the other side of the Atlantic but which there is interwoven with the history and existence of the States itself, is coming upon us here by our own volition and our own neglect. Indeed, it has all but come. In numerical terms, it will be of American proportions long before the end of the century. Only resolute and urgent action will avert it even now. Whether there will be the public will to demand and obtain that action, I do not know. All I know is that to see, and not to speak, would be the great betrayal.

Rome:

Rome was founded as a kingdom. There were seven kings in succession, then a rebellion that created the Republic. After a few hundred years of the Republic, along came Julius Ceasar, followed by his nephew and adopted son Octavian, both of whom garnered all state power to themselves (in their own eminently imitable ways - and for which Julius Ceasar was, in my view rightly, assassinated by those loyal to the Republic). Octavian has become known to history as Augustus, the first of the Roman emperors – even though he insisted on being known only as “First Citizen”.

Actually, very little is factually known of the early Roman kingdoms as there are no written records remaining from those days – they were all destroyed when the Gauls sacked Rome in 390BC - and what we know was written during the later Republic and Empire – and that was largely based on legend.

Enoch Powells reference to “ … the river Tiber foaming with much blood” is a reference from Classical literature (Virgil). It refers to a part of the story, and the predictions, of the Sybil.

The Sybil was an old woman who came to King Tarquin and offered to sell him nine books. However, the price she demanded for them was so exorbitant he refused. She then burned three of the books and offered the remaining six at the same exorbitant price. Again he refused. She then burned three more of the books, and returned offering the remaining three books at the same exorbitant price as for the original nine. By now extremely nervous, Tarquin bought the books and the Sybil then left and was never seen again. They were books of prophecies of the future history of Rome, and for hundreds of years were consulted every time Rome faced an emergency. The books were burned in AD 405 by General Flavius Stilicho – he was Christian, and considered them a pagan relic. Rome was sacked by the Visigoths five years later. No doubt the river Tiber foamed with much blood.

Enoch Powell never predicted “Rivers of Blood”. He was referring to a quote from Classical literature. It’s just the ignorance and sensationalism of our politicians and journalists, that’s all … and if you study the history of Rome, the river Tiber must have foamed with much blood on many occasions. Enoch Powell was a scholarly man, and wrote and spoke in scholarly ways: beyond the intellectual capacity to comprehend, of the politicians and journalists of that time. Or indeed this.

And was he wrong?

We in the BNP do not betray our own people. We see, we speak. When given the power, we will repair. We take the lumps currently on offer that follow from saying what we see, from the likes of “The Wigan and Leigh Hate Crimes Unit”, headed by - and making a better living from it than that of most Wigan people, who actually pay his salary: the "Wigan and Leigh Hate Crimes Co-ordinator", Mr. Elliot Brown.

UPDATE/CORRECTION

Another phone call. No, those men have not been laid off. I got that wrong. But the employer has taken on 16 workers on short-term contracts. 14 of them Poles who are brought to work daily, and taken away again, in a minibus. That's agency.

The employer wants his workforce to work a couple of 12-hour shifts a week on his terms. Otherwise the new blokes get the work.

The excuse given for taking them on is "Holiday cover". Hmmm ... yes. Can we see where this is going to go?

The member of the library staff who refused to reveal the presence of a BNP candidate on the election list, is the wife of one the candidates in the upcoming elections. Mr Franzen's wife, so I'm told.

This is the beauty of the internet - you get told a story, so you put it out there, asking for corrections or further details ... and sure as day follows night, in come the phone calls and emails.

The internet is our way to fight back against the information stranglehold the system has always had on us. We've only ever been told what they wanted us to know. Now we have a means of putting our own information together, with an ongoing narrowing down that eventually leads us to the truth of matters. Does anyone wonder why the EU (and our own government is part of that. Indeed, these days you could say our government IS the EU, and Westminster only does as it's told. 80% of all legislation passed by Westminster originates in Brussells. Did you know that?) is talking about bringing in controls on the internet?

Did you used to vote Labour? Do you think the Labour Party is working for the benefit of ordinary people in this country? What, still? After ten years of this government that calls itself Labour? I used to be a Labour Party member and activist once upon a time. And a patriotic one too, who'd enlisted at 15. No more Labour Party for me.

Communication from a member of the public

I received a phone call a few minutes ago from a member of the public living - and voting - in Golborne. He got my phone number from the BNP election leaflet that had been delivered to his house. To all others who think of calling the phone numbers on our election leaflets: you really will get to speak to a real living human being.

He told me he had been to his local branch of the library service, and asked for details of the candidates for election where he lives. The BNP candidate was omitted from what he was told. When he asked about the BNP, he was stonewalled.

Just thought people ought to know what the BNP is up against.

That same member of the public - who is not a BNP party member - also told me a little tale about a company in Golborne called Golborne Unit Pallets, Bank Street, Golborne. A juicy little tale it is too.

It seems that about a fortnight ago this company laid off 16 Englishmen who had been earning something like £9.00 per hour. This week, 16 new workers were taken on: Polish people being paid minimum wage. Investigations are ongoing into this behaviour which, on the face of it, seems to be entirely illegal. Any details about the agency linking the Poles with the company would be welcome; and especially welcome would be details of the negotiations held between that agency and the company. Who initiated this horrible little deal? Is there an agency out there actively promoting what has been done with this company - the dismissal of English workers and their replacement by cheap labour from abroad?

If anyone has any details to give me to flesh out this sorry tale, email me through the 'Contributors' button at the top of this page - just click on Sir Henry Morgan. This will bring up a window where a 'contact' button can be found. Alternatively, if you have my phone number from an election leaflet, just give me a call. If you are one of the men laid off, I can give you details of a union that WILL initiate legal action on your behalf (it would, of course, expect you to join). Phone me, email me.

Strange that I never read about this sorry tale about Golborne Unit Pallets in the Wigan Observer. Well, not so strange really.

Post-May 1st postal voting investigation.

Posted here as an open letter is a copy of an email I sent to the electoral registration office less than an hour ago. I will do what I've said I'll do. And I do have a fourth, as yet unrevealed, question.
----------------------------------------------------

Sirs

Between one and two weeks after the May 1st elections, I will be entering a request for information, to the FoI officer, under the Freedom of Information Act. I will be requesting the following information:

1. How many ADDRESSES within the bounds of W.M.B.C. were registered for one postal vote (names being irrelevant)?

How many addresses were registered for two postal votes?

How many addresses were registered for three postal votes?

Etc.up to ten or more postal votes for the same address.

2. How many NAMES within the bounds of W.M.B.C.were registered for two postal votes, at different addresses?

How many names were registered for three postal votes at different addresses?

Etc. up to ten or more postal votes for the same name.

3. What is the total for the number of registered electors within the boundaries of W.M.B.C., and what was the total number of registered postal votes?

I understand that addresses such as old people's homes, hospitals etc. will have multiple requests from one address. These I will check for status and, where appropriate, exclude from investigation. For other addresses I will be making a personal judgement on how many repeats are "reasonable".

I also understand that in a population of more than 300,000 people, some names will be repeated, therefore I will be making a personal judgement on how many repeats for one name are "reasonable".

Any information regarding multiple postal votes at one address not an old people's home or hospital, or multiple same-names at different addresses, that seems suspicious to me, I will be taking to the police for further investigation.

I will not be requesting the actual addresses or names - only numbers; so issues of confidentiality will not enter into things as far as this request will be concerned. Such things will only enter into things if - if - the police become involved.

The information requested will be easy to collate, and virtually cost-free. I think it safe to assume that such information as all requests granted for postal votes are kept on an electronic database. I further assume that this will be Microsoft Office Access, or similar. All you need to do is highlight the "Address" column on the database and click "Sort Ascending" (or "Sort Descending" - the effects will be the same ... just in the opposite direction). Then read through the addresses and count the number of times the same address appears consecutively, as it will automatically do.

For the names, just repeat this procedure; highlight the "Names" column, click "Sort Ascending" or "Sort Descending", then read through the names and count the number of times the same name comes up consecutively, as it will automatically do.

This way you will very easily be able to find how many times each address has appeared and how many times each name has appeared.

I am educated and qualified in the office-use of computers to RSA IBT2 level. I am fully aware of what can be done with word processors, spreadsheets and databases.

I will leave the request for information for one-two weeks after the election because I fully understand that for you the work involved in an election is not over with the election itself. I will give you time to get your extra work done without distractions from the likes of me.

I am forwarding this mail to you to give you advance warning that the requests will be made, and for you to prepare for them, if necessary. I will also be posting this mail as an open letter on the Wigan BNP weblog.

Our politicians have created a postal voting system that is wide open to electoral fraud, as has been seen from numerous cases around the country. The politicians themselves don't appear to be motivated to do anything about it, so it is left to ordinary members of the public such as me, who ARE motivated to do something about it, to do it on their behalf. I apologise if this causes you extra work, but please, don't blame me: blame the politicians.

I have no personal doubts about the integrity of the electoral registration office itself. It has been by a country mile the most helpful, friendly and informative department of any governmental - local and national - department I have ever encountered in my 55 years of life.

Sincerely

Henry Morgan

PS There will also be a fourth request for information, in addition to the three detailed above. However, I do not yet wish to make known what that request will be. The information will be easier to gather than that described above, and possibly far more indicative of possible electoral fraud and how deeply into our local political system it reaches. Assuming it is there at all, of course, which is by no means certain here in Wigan. There is no record at all of what this fourth request will be on my computer, or written down anywhere. So if any corrupt politician or political activist, or council officer sends heavies around to confiscate my computer and root through it, along with rooting through all my papers, in order to obtain advance warning, then that will be a waste of time and effort, and indeed,counter-productive ... because I am well plugged into the Web and have contacts nation-and-world-wide.

Shock Horror! Wigan doesn't seem to have any native white kids.

When Wigan Council wanted to make its website more appealing to young people the first thing it did was call in a couple of experts.
[ … ]
The aim of the project was to make sure that the views of young people were listened to and taken seriously.
[ … ]
Two eager volunteers Joe Mulenda and Ahmed Younis, who are both members of the Rafiki Motswako youth group, spent the day with Equality and Diversity Team members Andrew McCorkle and Catherine Martin, supported by Garry Miller looking at the web pages and exploring how they could be improved.
[ … ]
Andrew says: “ … We got some fairly frank opinions from Joe and Ahmed who told us the pages were difficult to find on the council’s website and once you did find them they were boring and too full of numbers. … They told us we should make the web pages a bit more fun by adding things like quizzes on different topics such as religion. “

Go read it all. Please do:

http://www.wigan.gov.uk/News/WebWonders.htm

I’d just like to add that in a secular country religion and government are kept separate. I for one certainly don’t want to read about religion on council web pages, any more than I want to hear about government in church. And which religion exactly, do we suppose they have in mind? Something tells me they, and the Equality and Diversity Team, weren’t thinking of Judaism or Buddhism, for examples.

And the pages were boring and too full of numbers were they? It’s because we as a culture learned to work right through information regardless of boredom; and because we also recognised the importance of numbers, our Western culture became superior to all other cultures on the planet, and came to dominate the world. Other cultures that are growing increasingly successful, such as China, India, Japan, Korea for examples, are those that have adopted our ways, kept religion and government apart and recognised the importance of data, statistics … numbers!

Trevor Philips himself, Chairman of the Race Equality Council, has said it: multiculturalism is dead. Incomers should adopt our ways, and not expect to come here but keep to the ways of the countries they left. Do they just want to reproduce what they are trying to escape from? No, I’m not having a pop at what are obviously two very bright little boys: I’m taking a pop at the Equality and Diversity Team. You should not be encouraging incomers to keep to their old ways because that is building up nothing but grief for them, and the indigenous population, in the future. They should be adopting our ways. Indeed, there should be nothing but our ways available to them.

And where were the white native Wigan kids? Isn’t the council interested in their views too?

Perhaps they are all incapable of this kind of thing due to imbecility? Anything to add Mr Elliot Brown?

Note to readers: I'm more than happy to argue about this in the comments section.

Wigan BNP Candidates for W.M.B.C. Elections, May 1st 2008

ASHTON
Jones. Adrian Dilwyn
BRITISH NATIONAL PARTY

I am a 49 year old engineer who moved to the area from South Wales 8 years ago to obtain work and because, having myself come from a mining area, I liked the area.

Owing to government policies which are replacing British manufacturing staff by immigrants , I was soon made redundant and now must travel to Chester to work. I thus realise from personal experience how we have been let down by Central Government in the jobs market with lower wages and fewer opportunities locally and having to travel on increasingly crowded roads and pay for excessively taxed petrol.

Locally services deteriorate while taxes rise.
Government, dominated by the other parties has let us down.
WE NEED A CHANGE!

BRYN
Haslam. Ken
BRITISH NATIONAL PARTY

I am a 67 year old retired haulier. Since I contested this ward last year nothing has changed apart from a few minor cosmetic gestures .The same attitude of apathy to the decline of the area has continued and the same old failed policies have been recycled. We have ever more crowded roads and run down areas. They debate and discuss but,
THEY NEVER DO ANYTHING.

We need a completely new vision for the area energetically pursued if we are to halt this decline.
I have the experience--
TO MAKE IT HAPPEN!

GOLBORNE LOWTON WEST
McEllenborough. Steven
BRITISH NATIONAL PARTY

Dear Voter

I am Steve McEllenborough. I am 35 years of age, and the British National Party candidate for Golborne Lowton West. If you believe , as I do, that our culture, its heritage, history and independence is worth fighting to protect and preserve, then I invite you to consider lending me your vote.

As your representative I will fight for the rights of local residents. I will fight against 'positive discrimination' against british people. We should come first, we deserve to come first.

The election is important. Its outcome will not effect the governance of the council but it will enable you to register a strong protest in favour of a party which will cause those who govern our affairs from a distance to sit up and take note.

LEIGH SOUTH
Chadwick. Gary Charles
BRITISH NATIONAL PARTY

I am 42 years old, born and bred in LEIGH SOUTH, and work for a local engineering firm. I have always lived in this borough and have seen the rapid decline in standards and discipline under this government. To my shame I was a member of the Labour Party until I saw that its priorities did not lie with its core supporters, but, with wealthy “businessmen” who sold our assets abroad or employed cheap foreign labour here at the expense of British workers.

I have been made redundant twice in the last 4 years as a result of this. Jobs paying a living wage are increasingly hard to find. Housing shortage is acute and our town is ever more crowded and congested. We can not accommodate this increase in numbers.
WE ARE FULL UP.

I fear for the future of my family in this crowded multicultural country which is being given away
WITHOUT OUR CONSENT!
A vote for me is a vote for the future generation. It will also send a powerful message to Westminster that the people HAVE HAD ENOUGH of their lies and deceit and that
WE WANT OUR COUNTRY BACK!

ORRELL
Mather. Charles Edward
BRITISH NATIONAL PARTY

I am 68 years old and have lived and worked in Orrell all my life, first as a GP and then as a farmer.

I intend spending the rest of my life here and am therefore concerned at the way the district has gone “downhill” over the past years with increased building, crowding and deterioration of services in spite of higher taxes with little regard for the wishes of the people.

PEMBERTON
Hilton. Chris
BRITISH NATIONAL PARTY

I am a 52 year old Wiganer, brought up in Kitt Green. I have worked most of my life in Wigan, but also for a spell on a kibbutz in Israel in my youth.

In the past I have stood as a Liberal candidate in the Winstanley ward. I am aware of the problems of low pay and poor conditions which are endured by many in this area and the difficulties faced by small businesses and farms.

I am a committed Christian who feels the values of Christianity, Pemberton, Marsh Green and Kitt Green have been played down in the interests of political correctness.

WIGAN WEST
Mather. Susan Jacquetta
BRITISH NATIONAL PARTY

SUSAN MATHER.(nee Green)

I am a 63 year old former civil servant who was brought up in Gidlow Lane, where my father was a newsagent, but now live in Billinge. I was educated at Beech Hill junior school and Wigan Girls High School. I have one daughter and a grandson and have seen the deterioration in education standards since my grandson started school.

I am proud to be a “Wiganer” but have become increasingly dismayed by the lack of coherent planning, the general congestion and the downgrading of our local traditions while “Diversity” events seem to be promoted. We seem to be losing our sense of community and proud past, encouraged by the local council.

I have stood in two previous elections, feeling it my duty to do my bit to help preserve Wigan and help its people.

WE ARE NOT A RACIST PARTY!
We are not against anyone regardless of colour or creed.
WE ARE JUST FOR …
THE BRITISH PEOPLE.
SOMEONE MUST STAND UP FOR THEM
THE BNP WILL!

A complete list of all candidates for all wards can be accessed here:

Top cop's terror warning

A TOP counter terrorism cop has warned a Manchester conference `the aim of the game now is mass murder'. Chief Supt Tony Porter, head of the GMP-based Counter Terrorism Unit, painted a bleak picture of the threat from Muslim extremists when he addressed business leaders at a security conference.
But he also spoke of his `optimism for the future' and his desire to make the region `the most hostile environment you can imagine' for terrorists.
He warned delegates at the start of his speech he would outline `the scary bits' of the terror threat. "Al-Qaida have re-written the manual of attack," he said, explaining that the historic threat from the IRA was `somewhat easier to manage' because its targets were focused, warnings were issued before bombings and Republicans wanted to escape alive afterwards.
"They didn't want to commit suicide. The aim of the game now is mass murder," he said. The current threat level is graded as `severe', which means an attack is `highly likely'.

In defence of the British people and culture

From the desk of Robert Fjordman (a Norwegian writing in a Belgian web journal).

These are extracts (emphases mine); follow the link at the end to read it all (recommended - and especially recommended for the Elliot Browns amongst us). Do take the time to follow the links posted within the original article.

We in the BNP are not anti-European. What we are is anti-EU. Despite what our politicians and the media might like you to think, these two are not the same thing.

Neither are we anti anyone else. We fully support the right of all nations and cultures to exist and thrive within their own secure borders - and it isn't the BNP that sends our army to invade other peoples' lands, and for our young people to kill and die for no discernible British interest. What we are is pro-British, and we demand for ourselves that same right to exist and thrive within our own secure borders. We have two issues over immigration: culture - if you wish to immigrate into Britain you must wholly and unconditionally adopt the culture you find here; and numbers: this land is already overcrowded, and the number of people living here is unsustainable. To be allowed in on a permanent basis you must provably be able to contribute to the well-being of our nation in ways that we cannot provide from our own indigenous resources.

Fjordman (Norwegian, remember - but from everything he says, he could well be British; or Dutch, German, French, Danish ... etc. Ironic, isn't it: Wigan BNP using an article written by a Norwegian and published in a Belgian web publication, in order to lay out a defence of British culture):-

" ... in more and more European cities, the native population is being pushed out of their own neighborhoods by immigrant gangs. The natives receive little or no aid from their authorities, sometimes blatant hostility [are you still with us, young Elliot?], when faced with immigrant violence. In an age where the global population increases with billions of people in a few decades, it is entirely plausible, indeed likely, that the West could soon become demographically overwhelmed. Not a few of our intellectuals seem to derive pleasure from this thought.
[...]
In decadent societies of the past, the authorities didn't open the gates to hostile nations and ban opposition to this as intolerance and barbarophobia. What we are dealing with in the modern West is not merely decadence; it's one of the greatest betrayals in history. Our so-called leaders pass laws banning the opposition to our dispossession as "racism and hate speech." To native Europeans, when listening to our media and our leaders, it's as if we don't even exist, as if it were normal for them to put the interests of other nations over their own.
[...]
At the Daily Telegraph, Simon Heffer suggests that the mass immigration encouraged in particular by the Labour governments of Blair and Brown in Britain is not happening out of incompetence, but is part of "a doctrinally driven determination by the new Government in 1997 to destroy our national identity and to advance multiculturalism." I agree, but this policy of state-sponsored population replacement is far from limited to Britain.
[...]
... a Scottish councillor, Sandy Aitchison, was chastised for using the term "indigenous" about native Brits. Why is it considered ridiculous or evil if Europeans assert our rights? Is it because we are white?
[...]
Western Europeans have in recent years accepted more immigration in a shorter period of time than any society has ever done peacefully in human history. If we want a break we have the right to do so. What we are dealing with is not "immigration" but colonization, and in the case of Muslims, internationally organized attempts to conquer our countries. ... There are hardly any Britons in Pakistan today, so why should the Brits allow huge numbers of Pakistanis to settle in Britain?
[...]
For simply suggesting that I would not enjoy being turned into a persecuted minority in my own country, I have been accused of being a "white nationalist," which says a great deal about how demonized people of European ancestry have become. What about Koreans or Japanese? If they were gradually being displaced by, say, Nigerians and Pakistanis and were harassed in their cities by people who moved there out of their own free will, would they be denounced as yellow nationalists if they objected to this? In fact, why do the terms yellow nationalist, brown nationalist and black nationalist hardly exist, whereas the term white nationalist does? Isn't that by itself an indication of a double standard?
[...]
The one thing I will not do is surrender my land, which is not mine to give. I do not see anybody else quietly accept being turned into a minority in the country where their ancestors have lived since the end of the last Ice Age, and I cannot see why I should have to do so, either. I don't care if white Westerners are "scared of being called a racist." I will not leave a ruined land behind to my descendants because I was afraid of being called bad names. If you think it is "racist" for Europeans to preserve their heritage and protect their children from abuse, then I'm not the bigot here. You are.
[...]
We do not wish harm or ill-feeling toward any other peoples on earth, but we assert the right to maintain our own majorities in our own lands without being accused of "racism." We reject current trends which preach that we have no right to oppose, control or lessen unlimited immigration from non-indigenous cultures.
[...]
We reject educational trends which encourage our children to forget or despise their culture, traditions, religious practices and history in order to avoid offense to non-indigenous European residents or citizens.
[...]
We reject out of hand current trends which preach that traditional indigenous European religious or cultural celebrations such as Christmas are somehow "racist" or "non-inclusive" and therefore must be "downgraded," "renamed" or otherwise de-emphasized or eliminated in order to avoid offending non-indigenous European residents or citizens. We reject current policies which establish that our indigenous cultures are somehow deficient and therefore are not complete until they are "enriched" by other, non-indigenous cultures.
[...]
We reject out of hand current trends or policies which preach that our national flags or ethnic symbols of centuries standing are somehow "racist" or "non-inclusive" in order to avoid offense to non-indigenous European residents or citizens.
[...]
We reject out of hand current trends or policies which preach that indigenous European cultural expressions such as statues of boars, folkloric tales about pigs or dogs, paintings with Christian or Classical pagan themes, war memorials with a Christian theme, etc., should be removed from public view, banned, destroyed, modified or otherwise threatened in order to avoid offense to non-indigenous European residents or citizens.
[...]
Mr. Franco Frattini of the EU Commission, the unelected and unaccountable government for nearly half a billion people, has stated that Europeans should accept further tens of millions of immigrants within a generation. The British Foreign Minister Milliband stated late in 2007 that the EU should expand to include Muslim nations in North Africa and the Middle East. The French President Sarkozy and the German Chancellor Angela Merkel confirmed this early in 2008. This is part of an organized attempt to surrender Europe to Islamization that has been going on for decades. Since the European Union involves the free movement of people across borders, European leaders are opening the floodgates to tens of millions of Muslims and other non-indigenous peoples at a time when native Europeans fear for the survival of their civilization and feel like aliens in their own cities. Meanwhile, Ernst Uhrlau, the president of Germany's foreign intelligence agency, warned about the rising assertiveness of violent Jihadist organizations in North Africa.

Based on this evidence, the European Union can hardly be seen as anything other than a criminal organization dedicated to the demographic dispossession and cultural marginalization of the indigenous peoples of an entire continent. Consequently, the EU should be immediately and totally dissolved. Native Europeans should demand that we have an interim period with public de-Eurabification, where the lies propagated by pro-Islamic Multiculturalists should be removed from our history books, and a proper respect for European cultural traditions should be restored. Those officials on senior levels who have participated in the creation of Eurabia should stand trial for crimes against their civilization. "

Read it all.

Is this a "Hate Crime" Mr Elliot Brown? If so, send your heavies around to get me; you know where I live. It wont make any difference though: we are not going to stop.

ALL THE NOMINATIONS ACCEPTED

All our nominations have been accepted. Perhaps not as many as we would have liked but owing to activists moving and being away on holiday not as many as we would have liked.
Getting the nomination papers I was cheered by the enthusiasm I received from everybody.
The increasing decline of our country and the governments insistence that all is well is having an effect and the people are realising that they are being lied to almost daily, while our British institutions are being consigned to history (or until we have more influence)
Britannia on our coinage is disappearing after hundreds of years. Why? to downplay anything that is British and to turn us into an unrelated mass of disunited people who inhabit this tiny island. The powers that be seem intent on destroying the unity we had in World War 2 when we united to save our nation and the world from Fascism.
Now we have it by stealth,---so far.
At last the people are awakening and realising it is not a waste of time to vote.
A vote for the BNP is worth 10 for any other party as we are the only party dedicated to a change from the rapid decline of our culture and the corruption of government at all levels.
The other parties will note our increasing support and who knows will start reflecting the will of the people and put BRITISH people first.

WE WILL LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE , ROOT OUT CORRUPTION, AND RESTORE THE GREAT IN GREAT BRITAIN
