Saturdays Support Our Troops
Wigan BNP were out again on Saturday in the Town Centre with our Support our Troops campaign.
We had an excellent day with quite a few signatures collected and Voice of Freedom handed out.
Thanks go to Sandra and Barry and Anita for the help they gave.
Whilst we were there a young lad of about 10 or 11 came up and asked if he could sign the petition, as he was a youngster we thought it best that he didn't.
The young lad then told us that his older brother had been a soldier and had been killed in Afghanistan, the poor lad then broke down in tears as he walked away.
We were a bit dumbfounded at this and didn't quite know what do as he walked away with his friends, tears running down his cheeks.
Anita grabbed a bundle of stuff and ran after him to give him to take home for his parents to read and hopefully they will be able to see that we are on their side, and the only political party who wants and end to this wasteful slaughter of our troops is the BNP.
The message we send to the Troops and thier families is they are not alone, we in the BNP will stand proud with them and their loved ones and to try and bring an end to this wasteful unwanted war and our troops safely home from Afghan

A TANGLED WEB
Venturing outside of the traditional and the usual (and yet equally brilliant) British Nationalism blogosphere - I've got to let you know that I've come across what looks to be an excellently presented and highly informative blog and one which I have enjoyed to visit since it's discovery earlier in the week.
This discovery of course coincides with the inception of 'our' very own superb, superior and ball busting all British National Party entrenched The British Resistance...blog created by the fantastic Green Arrow and his many, many friends. Which of course must be in every blogger's "favourites" list!
But, when a blog such as the A Tangled Web are not afraid to publish current affairs as we see it they are surely worth a mention. David Vance the author of A Tangled Web is a member of and recent PPC candidate for Northern Ireland's TUV party..And I believe a friend of our Yorkshire MEP Andrew Brons. So, if he's a friend of Andrew's then surely he's a friend of ours?
I just love this post below and which incidentally was taken from the aforementioned blog, (Yes, I know I'd put it in the comments section on SKs earlier post, but.......) it's surely worthy of a front page slot here at the Leigh & Wigan Blog would you say?

But if the Unite Against Fascism luvvies are genuine, then why are the not also denying Sinn Fein the right to speech? After all, compared to the republicans, the BNP are a genteel collection of elderly spinsters on a Sunday afternoon picnic. How many convicted murderers does the BNP have as elected members? WHAT IS IT ?
The once favourite to be the next head of MI6 and Whitehalls Top Security Advisor Charles Farr has been trying to get a Mohammedan Imam Zakir Naik, a supporter of Islamic Violence and Terrorism, entry into Britain, but has been blocked by the Conservative Home Secretary Theresa May.
Why is a Foreign Imam and supporter of terrorism being supported by a man whose job it is to keep our country and its inhabitants free from harm by Terrorists, to identify Islamic Terrorist supporters and keep them under surveillance and to stop fund raising for Terrorists ?
Charles Farr has said he is willing to “put himself on the line” to secure Dr Naik’s entry.
WHY ?
What could be the underlying force be that is sweeping its way through our Institutions, that the man who was in line for Britains top security job, the Head of MI6, is willing to put his whole credibilty and job on the line for a Islamist Terrorist supporter, to gain Zakir Naik and his family entry into Britain ?
What is it that allows known Terrorists and supporters to come and go with impunity from our shores yet bans entery to the Dutch MP Geert Wilders, who had made a film FITNA
which shows the true face of Islam - Islamic Terrorism and violence, with Islamists reciting passages from the Koran calling for Jihad, to kill the non-believers ?
What is it that allows an Islamist to sit in the House Of Lords, one Lord NAZIr Ahmed,and threaten to mobilise 10.000 Islamists to run riot through our once Capital City, Londonistan, if Wilders film FITNA was screened in the House of Lords and which was requested for a private viewing by another member of the House of Lords and for other members of the House of Lords to view in private ?
Why do we have to jump when Islamists demand it ?
Why are we punished for things that Islamists are allowed to get away with, such as book burning, Racial attacks, forced fed Halal food, seperate days for Islamists to use Public amenities such as Swimming Baths etc, Islamic (Sharia) Law to supersed British Law ?
Are we, as a country and people, being held to ransom ?
What could it be that makes the upper echelons of our Security services, MPs etc, bow down and grovel in front of Islamic Terrorists?
It can't be that they would set off bombs on our streets, the IRA used to do that yet we never bowed or grovelled to them.
Or is it ?
But what sort of weapon/bomb (if it is a weapon/bomb) could turn our country upside down and it's Indigenous population oppressed?

Wigan Council Spends Thousands Of Pounds On New Signs in Leigh
So, what does a council do when it threatens the need to make savings of £55m with the sad prospect of making 800 individuals redundant?
It spends absolutely thousands and thousands of "our" pounds on ridiculous and unnecessary "new" informational signs around Leigh town centre - that's what it does!
The picture below shows one of the new signs that have appeared in abundance around town over the past week or so.
Yet, the picture below taken just 50 yards away from the one above - and these more sturdy signs have themselves only been put in place a couple of years ago!
Additionally, It seems rather at odds that we should be inheriting these new signs - when only a week or so a go this was reported in the local press Axeman to give signs the chop Although, this following comment taken from the article is a little conspicuous!
"We do however get many requests from the public, councillors and MPs for the provision of new traffic signs to warn of hazards, provide information or for enforcement of traffic regulations. "
Can anyone confirm that more of these signs are appearing throughout Wigan Borough or is it just confined to Leigh?
