Good news. Wigan Metro is building 14 council houses much to the delight of "Lord" Smith, at a cost of £128000 each. Some of this is funded by the government and some by the Metro. BIG DEAL!
When I was chairman of housing on Billinge UDC we had 602 council housed for a population of less than ten thousand. So 14 houses in 20 years for 380 thousand people in the Wigan Metro area is nothing.
Why, when we are supposedly richer than we were in the Fifties are we able to only build such a paltry amount when there is so much local need?. 50 years ago each little UDC built far more than 14 houses each year.
There is a large waiting list made much worse by the huge numbers of immigrants secretly housed in the area. If these uninvited people were not here we would not be so short of houses.
The policy of not building council houses was brought in by the Tories and has been continued under new Labour while both parties have allowed a massive increase in immigrant numbers and given them priority over locals whose families have been paying into the system for years.
The price of these houses is extraordinary at £128,000. Presumably the council own the land and a good house can be built a lot cheaper.
But who are these houses for. Will they be for large muslim families and will the toilets have to face Mecca (or away I'm not quite sure)
I'll bet Wiganers will not get any priority in spite of having to pay a portion of the cost through council taxes.
If they got rid of the dead wood in the Metro (that's people like you Elliot and you Lord Smith) and the uninvited immigrants they would be able to afford to house Wiganers decently. Lord Smith's allowances for 2 years would pay for one house so you can see the problem.
The combined allowances for Councillors would have paid for 8 of these overpriced house each year.
Tory and Labour governments and councils are respnsible for this shambles and it just indicates how far we as a country have fallen.

A QUESTION OF PRIORITIES
An indication of the Governments and MPs concern about the troops in Afganistan is shown below, taken from "Private Eye"
You will note the composition of troops seen by the MPs in the effort to demonstrate "diversity".
These ethnic minorities and women have to do extra duties to demonstrate that worthy cause.
Also note Bill Rammell playing with an expensive toy in his safe playpen Camp Bastion while less secure vehicles are used in active combat.
What takes the biscuit in this foreign foray is the anger of the MPs at being delayed by the need to transport wounded soldiers. Do these army people not realise how important it is to get these valuable people back to their taxpayer funded second homes.
Soldiers are expendable, just cannon fodder but MPs must not be delayed. They have important work to do in the bars of the Houses of Parliament and it was really asking too much to ask them to interrupt their busy rounds of junketing to go to Afganistan.
The esteem in which the government holds our soldiers is shown by the MoDs sending a bill of £395 to the Army Benevolent Fund for a licence and two hours use of a lawn.
Of course in these times of recession costs have to be kept to a minimum and after bank bail outs, bankers bonuses, second homes, moat cleaning, duck houses, porn videos there is little to spare.
Tough choices must be made and it seems the army is being made to take them.

THE OFFICIAL COVER UP ACT.

As can be seen these agreements are governed by the Official Secrets act and landlords not permitted even to admit their state funded tenants are asylum seekers, although looking at them it would be pretty obvious.

The list of goodies these uninvited and unwelcome "guests" are entitled to is shown above, including new electical goods and furniture. Second hand would be OK for Brits but then they have to save to pay their taxes to subsidise the above, and of course pay their telly licence

Also if these immigrants are fearful of moving about amongst us nasty Wiganers they can have a subsidised car.
That all these advantages are covered by the official secrets act show that the authorities do not want the general public to be aware of this injustice and to continue to colonise our country at our expense.
How long will it be before our people wake up and see the disaster being visited on them at their own expense.
Perhaps that is why the State tries to stifle our Party's progress. They know we would expose them for the liars and traitors they are.
PHILOSOPHICAL BELIEFS AND THE LAW
I just read the following post on EU Referendum
The spectre of a 4°C warmer world, with alligators basking off the coast of Sweden, a vast desert surrounding the Mediterranean and a largely uninhabitable mainland Europe, is to be presented to EU member states by foreign secretary David Milliband.
This is part of a "diplomatic push" by Britain to persuade rich countries to put climate change at the top of their agendas. Thus Milliband will address French, Swedish and Danish foreign ministries in the next 48 hours.
Then, heedless of the carbon footprint, he travels to New York where he will meet foreign ministers from other rich countries next week to hammer out details of a major treaty on global warming ahead of UN talks in Thailand, which will conclude at a crucial summit in December in Copenhagen.
A Foreign Office spokesman said using powerful climate change imagery to concentrate official minds was justifiable because the worldwide geopolitical implications of profound climate change were so enormous.
Meanwhile, a senior executive of Newcastle-based Grainger plc, Tim Nicholson, has claimed he was unfairly dismissed because his views on the environment conflicted with other managers' "contempt for the need to cut carbon emissions".
In the first case of its kind, an employment tribunal decided that Nicholson had views amounting to a "philosophical belief in climate change", allowing him the same legal protection against discrimination as religious beliefs.
We are told that Judge David Sneath said at the employment tribunal: "[Nicholson] has certain views about climate change and acts upon those views in the way in which he leads his life. In my judgment his belief goes beyond a mere opinion."
The decision comes two years after the law on religious discrimination was changed so that beliefs no longer had to be "similar" to religious faith to receive protection in the workplace. Under the new law "philosophical belief" is protected by the law alongside religious belief if it passes a legal test requiring it to be cogent, serious and "worthy of respect in a democratic society".
Nicholson's lawyer said that the case reflected a necessary clarification of the law that would affect large numbers of employees.
"This is a case that will clarify the law for the ever-increasing numbers of people who take a philosophical stance on the environment and climate change, and who lead their lives according to those principles", said Shah Qureshi, head of employment law at solicitors Bindmans.
"These are often deeply held views based on the premise that without change humanity will suffer … people should be able to express such views without fear of retribution or discrimination."
Now then, I have this "philosophical belief" that warmists are the spawn of the devil, that their atheist creed is deeply offensive, that they should be banned from speaking in public about their religion, and that the sinister rituals which accompany their religion should be practiced only in private and then only between consenting adults.
Can I have a job please?
In response I made the following comment:

WHERE WAS MR BURNHAM?
We had a really great day out yesterday in Leigh and watched them win in style against Whitehaven.
Unfortunately Leigh have nevertheless been relegated. If they had played as well as they did yesterday through the season they would have avoided this fate.
However the future beckons and I'm sure they will be promoted at the end of next season.
Knowing his strong support for his constituency I had hoped to see the esteemed MP and Health Secretary Andy Burnham at this vital match.
Alas he was nowhere to be seen.
Today when questioned about his absence on television while visiting a new NHS school academy in Wythenshaw (whatever that is),I believe he said that the people of Leigh must stick together.
He did not seem to show his feelings of solidarity yesterday as shown by his absence.
In reality I did not expect to see him. Leigh is just a meal ticket to him.
He has no real allegiance to the town. He could be representing any other until now safe seat. He is just a government lackey, allegiance to the Labour Party and himself but not the people.
I'll bet when election time comes he will be seen all over the town.
With luck it will be too late for him, a sham campaigner from a discredited government.
After the match we went to a club and were AMAZED at the support for the BNP there.
You'd better show your commitment to Leigh a bit more Mr Burnham or you may be in for a shock next year.

AT WHAT AGE DOES A HUMAN BEING BECOME RACE-CONSCIOUS?
How about six months?
In other words, before they can understand a word, and years before they have had any interaction with anyone of a different race. And this is pretty much all children. One can only suppose black babies are the same, but in reverse.
The BNP is given a hard time for being race-conscious. You’d think they’d start by giving a hard time to their own children first, wouldn’t you. Fancy that – criticizing us for doing what even their own babies do as a matter of course.
So ignore the idiots who criticize you, and all of the BNP, for being race-conscious, because it’s perfectly natural to prefer your own kind … just like any other species on this planet. It’s just the way nature works.
Read - it's fascinating

A MOTLEY BUNCH OF FOOLS.
Apologies for the poor quality of this picture but it represents the quality of the people pictured.
Many in Wigan will have been unaware of this momentous meeting of political giants which took place at a local Labour Club recently. I was informed about the meeting but had a prior engagemant which prevented me from questioning these tireless campaigners for the people of Wigan.
Recognisable even in this picture is the ubiquitous ex Cllr Franzen who has still refused my challenge to a debate.
His co pannellists include a muslim woman and according to the blurb, representitives from the Socialist Workers Party and the Respect Party.
Ex Cllr Franzen, the furher of the CAP in Wigan seems to have peculiour allies for one who proclaims his allegiance to the "community" in Wigan.
What has a muslim woman got to do with our community? How many of that religion live here?
Which community does ex Cllr Franzen represent, those who have been replaced in their jobs by immigrants or those who wait endlessly on council waiting lists for a house only to be leapfrogged by asylum seekers whose cause he seems to endlessly promote?
Why is he associated with the Socialist Workers Party (surely a contradiction in terms) which attacks us, the BNP, with claw hammers, which has a policy of "British Jobs for British Workers" as a policy? Does he object to this policy or is his community based elsewhere?
Which workers is he trying to protect? certainly not the British Workers.
The Respect Party is party to this violence but it seems only respects views which co incide with its own. Not much respect for other views then.
Why was Dave Nellist invited when he is too extreme even for the Labour Party?
I don't know whether his wealthy friend George Galloway turned up, he was probably in his villa in Portugal, nor do I know how many attended this epic meeting. I have had no reports of crowds in Enfield Street trying to get in.
No I'm sorry ex Cllr Franzen the people of Wigan do not like you. You are too abrasive and your views too extreme and you DO NOT PUT WIGANERS FIRST which I would have thought was imperative even for an ex councillor.
The people of Wigan can see where your sympathies lie and they are not with them and that is why YOU WERE BOOTED OUT.
