UK Police Tells Public To Report Anti-Government Beliefs As Terrorism

The London Metropolitan Police is encouraging businesses and the general public to immediately report anyone who holds anti-government political beliefs to the authorities as terrorists, calling on people to become volunteer informants as the state prepares for widespread social unrest.

“This was the surprising injunction from the Metropolitan Police issued to businesses and members of the public in Westminster last week,” reports the London Guardian. “There was no warning about other political groups, but next to an image of the anarchist emblem, the City of Westminster police’s “counter terrorist focus desk” called for anti-anarchist whistleblowers stating: “Anarchism is a political philosophy which considers the state undesirable, unnecessary, and harmful, and instead promotes a stateless society, or anarchy. Any information relating to anarchists should be reported to your local police.”

In also calling on people to report Al-Qaeda paraphernalia to police, the briefing conflates “anarchists” with terrorists.

“It unfairly implies that anyone involved in anarchism should be known to the police and is involved in an dangerous activity,” said Jason Sands, an anarchist from South London. “There is nothing inherently criminal about political philosophy whatever it is. The police work under the convention on human rights which disallows discrimination against people because of their political beliefs and even the request for information would seem to be in breach of that.”

Of course, the “anarchist” label could apply to a whole range of political beliefs, but the fact that the state is now openly criminalizing anti-government sentiment and encouraging people to report on their neighbors for expressing dissent or displaying any sign of their political philosophy is a clear indication of how paranoid the British government has become of its own citizens.

As anarchist Sean Smith told the Guardian, “It’s pretty absurd, but not surprising, when the state seeks to criminalise ideas it deems to be dangerous to its own survival.”

Indeed, if you want an insight into where the British government thinks this is all heading, look no further than a 2007 Ministry of Defence report which foresaw “the middle classes becoming revolutionary” and “taking on the role of Marx’s proletariat” within three decades.

“The world’s middle classes might unite, using access to knowledge, resources and skills to shape transnational processes in their own class interest,” warns the report, predicting mass unrest and social dislocation.

This is why the authorities are already putting the squeeze on any kind of political beliefs that could be construed as anti-government. They are aware of the fact that the increasingly dangerous, unjust and economically deprived post-industrial revolution now being used to eviscerate the middle class in the west will provoke a hostile and radical reaction.

Encouraging people to report on each other for political beliefs deemed undesirable by the state is precisely what happened in Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany.

One common misconception about Nazi Germany was that the police state was solely a creation of the authorities and that the citizens were merely victims. On the contrary, Gestapo files show that 80% of all Gestapo investigations were started in response to information provided by denunciations by “ordinary” Germans.

“There were relatively few secret police, and most were just processing the information coming in. I had found a shocking fact. It wasn’t the secret police who were doing this wide-scale surveillance and hiding on every street corner. It was the ordinary German people who were informing on their neighbors,” wrote Robert Gellately of Florida State University.

Gellately discovered that the people who informed on their neighbors were motivated primarily by banal factors – “greed, jealousy, and petty differences,” and not by a genuine concern about crime or insecurity.

A DIFFERENT NATIONALISM

During the last year the nationalist movement has become fragmented and now with the demise of the BNP as a credible political force we must ponder on what to do now.

The BNP has been ruined by incompetent management, internal arguments and too many gaffes.
Many members have left or been expelled and many of them have joined new splinter parties. It shows people's desperation to find a vehicle in which to express their views.
In addition many people in our country are increasingly worried about the change caused by the lax or intended immigration policies of the main parties.

So what is the way forward?

First I believe we must stop the arguments between the varying brands of nationalsm such as "ethno nationalism" or "civic" nationalism.

These titles may be important to us but they do not concern the voters and if they do they put them off voting for us.

ETHNONATIONALISM.

I think this term should be dropped as a policy.
Yes we all agree that it would be nice to go back 50 years when we were a homogenious people but that will never happen.
If we are to continue to stress this form of nationalism we will be tarred by the racist brush, a term which our people have been indoctrinated to believe is anathema.

If we continue along this path we will never gain power and lose all, our influence, society and country.

We have to make the best of a bad job.

CIVIC NATIONALISM.

I can not understand this term. There is no such thing. You can not as an alien become a British nationalist by virtue of a British passport.

Nationalism is a feeling of community and a belief in a certain way of life, a patriotism.
By definition (from the Latin "Patria" meaning native land)it is not acquired by obtaining a passport and citizenship. It is like the tribalism which the "lefties" consider so important in other countries.
People are tied to their kin all over the world. It is a natural instinct, and inimicable to multiculturalism which does not and never has existed.
People of different cultures and races may live side by side but they never in large numbers live together. Rather they live in ethnic or tribal ghettos not trusting those from neighbouring groups but living in good times in an uneasy truce.

I read in the paper today that many Libyans living in Manchester have gone "home" to fight for their tribes in that country showing where their allegiences lie. It certainly is not to Britain.

SO WHAT DO WE DO.

Politics is about image and I believe we can achieve our goals without mentioning ethno nationalism, thus deflecting the racist epithet directed against us by the media.

WE SHOULD CALL OURSELVES ECONOMIC NATIONALISTS.

Times may be harder for many but before long they will become considerably worse.
We should promote the economic aspects of our policies.

IMMIGRATION--- can't afford it. We are too crowded.
ASYLUM--- no such thing. They have crossed several countries to get here.
TRANSLATORS -- not needed. Not our problem.
LAWYERS,--- can't afford them
FOREIGN AID --can't afford it. Let China give. They are not in debt.
HUMAN RIGHTS ---only apply to British people.
ILLEGALS ALREADY HERE --send them back. If we can't put a camp on a Scottish island in the rain until they said where they came from. Why should they live in our big cities. Somalian refugees in Kenya don't live in Nairobi.
NO MORE GRANTING OF CITIZENSHIP --we can't afford the extra numbers.
NO JOBS GIVEN TO FOREIGNERS--- We cant afford to have British people on the dole.
STOP FAMILY ALLOWANCES FOR MORE THAN TWO CHILDREN to avoid overpopulation.
NO SOCIAL HOUSING FOR LEGAL IMMIGRANTS ALREADY HERE.---we have not enough housing for our own people.
REVOKE CITIZENSHIP FOR CRIMINAL LEGAL IMMIGRANTS ALREADY HERE and send them back with their families. We have enough home grown criminals and can not afford more.
STOP POLITICAL CORRECTNESS AND POSITIVE DISCRIMINATION--it's racist and un British
ABOLISH THE EQUALITIES COMMISSION--can't afford it.
CLAMP DOWN ON ISLAMIC ACTIVISM--not compatible with the British way of life. Can't afford it.
All this of course in addition to nationalist policies in industry, ownership EU policies and foreign wars.

These measures I think would stop the inevitable replacement of our people.
We could avoid the "racist" tag as they would apply to all equally.

Unfortunately I think we would have to accept those who have been here many years and are second generation, but they would have to show they adapted to our ways.

IN OTHER WORDS THEY WOULD HAVE TO SHOW THEIR ALLEGIENCE TO BRITAIN, as the price of us accepting them.

I believe it is is the only way to save our country.
We are where we are and if the above measures were enacted they would afford us a chance for our futures. I don't necessarily like it but facts are facts.

AND MOST IMPORTANT WE MUST UNITE ALL NATIONALSTS IN ONE PARTY,and portray ourselves as a defensive movement, which in effect we are.

IT'S NO GOOD BEING A PURIST AND LOSING, WE MUST BE RATIONAL AND WIN.

BUT WE MUST DEMONSTRATE THAT.

The next years will be hard for our people and hit them in their pockets.

WE MUST SHOW WEARE ON THEIR SIDE AND WILL DEFEND THEM and

THEY WILL VOTE FOR US.

THE SCIENTISTS? OF GLOBAL WARMING.

This week we have been honoured by the great climate change/global warming expert Dr Rajendra Pachuri. He FLEW in to among other things to be delicately interviewed by the BBC and other organisations to answer questions re the falsified evidence of Global Warming such as the retreat of Himalayan glaciers (not true) and the alteration of data to prove the AGW theory.

The irony of FLYING round the world to prove this increasingly discredited theory is perhaps lost on him. After all he is a railway engineer and he must think that makes him an expert on environmental matters.

Also this week I read that a Mr (or Monseur?) Monnet has been suspended from his job in the climate change industry. He has been found exterpolating global changes from casual observations.

This scientist? flew over a part of the Arctic Ocean and saw four dead polar bears floating. From this observation he calculated that there was proof of global warming and an imminent extinction of that species.

He did not take into account that the polar bear populations have greatly increased.
NO he had seen four dead polar bears, which died from unknown causes and took it to mean that an environmentally disasterous global warming episode was imminent.

His cause was taken up by the great global warming crusader Al Gore,(what are his scientific credentials?) who has made millions out of the campaign.

These millions have enabled him to build himself a luxurious seaside house in the Carolinas. Strange that if global warming and sea rises are so imminent that he would decide to build at the side of the sea.

He obviously knows things we don't.

He has possibly seen the data from NASA that the CO2 in the atmosphere does not trap as much heat as previously thought.

Now back to Dr Pachuri.
I was privelidged? to see him share the podium in Brussels with that well known scientific expert Sir Paul McCartney who had FLOWN in to promote his vegetarian philosophy in order to cut emissions emitted by animals.

We have our "experts" in government also.
Chris Huhne, he of the speeding points shambles (high spped driving uses more fuel) FLEW to a conerence in Cancun last year to think of ways of preventing excessive flying, preferably by higher taxes.

A week later after coming home he took his attractive (there's no explanation for taste) ex lesbian partner back to the Carribean for a well deserved holiday.

Two trans Atlantic return trips for Mr Huhne

More recently he has been instrumental in subsidising "renewable energy" with money raised from increasing electricity prices which could cause death from hypothermia in winter.

In addition the Carbon Credit scam has put our industry at a disadvantage in respect to countries such as Dr Pachuri's India and caused the loss of among other things the Redcar steel works.

Possibly they have some connections to the Carbon Trading industry, I don't know.
What I do know is that it is having a devastating effect on our beleaguered industries, but no matter their wealth does not depend on that.

How fortunate we are to have these hypocritical "experts" (not a scientist among them) to fly all over the world to think of ways to stop us flying and heating our homes.

It would be poetic justice if these wealthy people were made to live with the consequences of their arrogance and ignorance.

It would be nice to bring them down to earth from their private jets.

BRITISH JUSTICE?

It is becoming ever more evident that the running of the recent leadership election was flawed and in some cases fraudulent.

Voting members were not sent voting forms to my knowledge by the membership secretary Mrs Mathys. There may have been a valid reason for this such as the incompetence for which she is well known.

There was also a climate of fear among the more timid members when they realised that they and the way they voted could be easily ascertained with sanctions implemented against them. This means to me that they would have voted Brons if they had dared.
I do not know what sanctions they feared, but it does show a climate of fear entirely inappropriate in a political party.

Suspensions and expulsions also helped the "Griffinite" side, and Eddy Butler did the Brons cause no good by encouraging members to leave the party.

Eddy on his blog of yesterday is thus disingenuous by saying he held fire in order to avoid hurting the Brons campaign.
He also says the BNP is a toxic brand but yet he attempted to lead it last year, raher a contradiction I think, and not what he said at the meeting in Dewsbury which I attended and which got me in trouble earlier this year.

He tells us what he now thinks is wrong with the party and in a future post he will inform us of his answers. It's getting like an Agatha Christie plot, hopefully with no murder later in the story.

It is always interesting to read these blogs and sometimes they throw a new aspect one has not thought of before, even though there is sometimes much to disagree with.

I WILL NOW SAY WHY I HAVE LOST FAITH WITH THE PRESENT SET UP.

I have been a member for nearly 9 years and know about "The Decembrists" incident.
There was fault on both sides. It was started by Nick Griffin and one thing led to another with attack and counter attack until the inexcusible "nuclear" option of the membership leak occurred, causing much damage to our party and some members.

I don't want to go into all the details, suffice it to say I know all of them.

The point I make is it could have been avoided with sense on BOTH sides.

So the rebels fell by the wayside and though wounded we got back to business and put the incident out of our mind, and began to make good progress.
We were on a roll, but a series of gaffes exploited by a hostile press undermined our image and political progress.
Again these could have been avoided. We supplied the ammunition.

Internally hints of financial irregularity surfaced and the party became involved in unneccessary legal cases at further cost. Accounts were submitted late and bills not paid.
We asked for financial transparency but were not given it, but I hung on in spite of ever poorer electoral results, hoping for a turnround and a revival.

I PUT MY DOUBTS BEHIND ME especially as Nick Griffin had PROMISED to retire from the leadership in 2014 with the generous pension he sneaked through at the Codnor meeting.

I was uneasy at the conference when he said that he would offer 20% payment of all bills owing, take it or leave it.
I thought it unfair to the small businessmen who had helped us to be treated so shabbily, especially as the party had crowed that we had had £1.6 million in donations.

We asked where the money had gone. Just give us the accounts, all to no avail.

Even then I was a supporter of the leadership, I had nowhere else to go.

At the conference last December a motion for a democratic structure taking power back from the Chairman and put forward by Arthur Kemp was almost unanimously passed.

Clive Jefferson was one of the few who opposed it.

I knew it would take some time (possibly 2/3 months) to be implemented, but when I found out in February that it would not come to pass because of objections from the Chairman that was the last straw for me. It was what finally removed the blinkers from my eyes and I began to search other avenues.

All this time our region was collapsing under the dictatorial methods of Clive Jefferson and I realised that to carry on in the same way we risked oblivion.

Then we learnt that Nick ("in response to popular demand", don't make me laugh) had decided to go for another term, this time for 4 years, an idea that was explicitly rejected at Codnor 3 years ago (before the era of proxy votes)

Nationalism is the only hope for our country but I believe we are failing to engage the voters because of wrong tactics, emphasis and those who are implementing them.

Internal party finances and democracy are matters of little consequence to the voting public but deficiencies in these have had a devastating effect on activist morale. It is no good pretending all is well when it is obvious we are going downhill.

We must change our methods, internally and externally and perhaps senior personnel if we are to survive.

WE CAN AND WILL SURVIVE as a movement,but--

We I think will have to change our name.

How about BRITISH JUSTICE?

A BLUEPRINT FOR THE FUTURE?

There is a proposal in yesterday's "British National Party ideas" fo a "Think Tank" to discuss ways of going forward from here.

BTW I believe this site is excellent and would commend everybody to visit it rather than the official site as the articles cover a wider range of topics and are better thought out and written, not surprising considering the calibre of those still "on side" with Nick Griffin.

I, like many others have been wondering what we could do to improve our chances, and having dwelt on this topic have become increasingly optimistic that the prospect of a nationalist revival is possible if we do the right things.

But first we have to consider why we are where we are.

Yes I know we have been in recent weeks preoccupied by our own in party matters and conflict, but we perhaps have forgotten the momentous national and international events taking place.
I have been following these in the last two days in the papers comments section especially following the horrific murders in Norway supposedly, in that madman's idea to protect European civilisation.

The media especially the left wing papers and the BBC have endeavoured to pin this outrage on us and our party. What struck me was the overwhelming majority of the thousands of comments which expressed the fear that Europe is becoming taken over by muslim people and are thus potential supporters of ours.

So why have we not harvested that support?

The answers are that we are perceived as too extreme by voters and internally we are concentrating on the wrong things.

WE spend too much time on semantics, Civic Nationalism versus Ethno Nationalism for example.
We are all Nationalists as are many of our compatriots so we should stress that unity.
I am neither. I am an Economic Nationalist and believe all will fall into place as a result of nationalistic economic policies, but again these details are irrelevant if we are to unite as a force for good in our nation.

Most people from all parties are against further immigration so we should promote that part of our policies without bothering about the details.

When you are in a hole, first stop digging rather than discussing which spade to use.

The campaigns the party has mounted, although on serious matters are of little significance in the larger picture. Yes muslim grooming is horrific and all are agreed on this, but putting a large part of our resources into campaigns such as this gain few votes.
Similarly the incompetently run "Bring our Boys Home" petition does not differntiate us enough from other parties, nor does the halal meat campaign gain us many votes.

We should as nationalists keep our noses out of the Israel/ Palestine conflict, again, it has nothing to do with us and gains us few votes.

Inteperate comments about Jews and executing our present politicians just puts people off and invites comparison to totalitarian regimes such as the Nazis and Stalinist Communists.

These attitudes have tainted people's image of nationalism, giving the impression of nasty vindictive attitudes.

Instead we should be pointing out that countries, often nominally Communist such as China are Nationalist, and that Nationalism has been an ingredient in their success. Nationalism has been successful in Japan and other Far East countries and even Germany where people and governments support their own economies.
Indeed every successful country in the world has gained that success as a result of a nationalist ideology.

We must promote the positive aspects of Nationalism and counter the negative connotations that word brings in our society, but we must do it in a form that is not and does not look extreme but rather a unifying philosophy which protects us rather than discriminates against others.

There are many ways we could effect this.
The phone hacking scandal has not yet run its course but even now both major parties have been shown to be mired in corruption and in hock to a ruthless foreigner who has in effect taken over our government.

The incompetence of our government is daily shown and many of its most stupid actions have only been taken after consulting Murdoch, such as the war in Iraq.
Now we are bogged down in Libya, again sticking our noses where they have no business to be.

More dangerous than all the above however but swept under the table by the capitalist banking cabal is the imminent collapse of the Euro and the American Dollar.
Chickens really are coming home to roost and economic disaster looms as countries attempt to pay interest to the international bankers on money they have created out of thin air to lend at high rates of interest. This money can only be repaid by continuing to grow the economy.

Any fool can see that in a finite world growth can not continue for ever but the powers that be continue on this path to disaster as they are financed by this fraud.

While we have been preoccupied with our internal matters international events have been to some extent under our radar.

SO WHAT DO WE DO?

Well I think a "think tank" meeting for disaffected members, past and present together with other concerned people should be set up. A new party could be set up, free from the toxicity of the Griffinite BNP which could bind all the various strands of nationalism under a common banner.

WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE?

Yes I think so, and quite easily. In every area there are people who have left the party disillusioned with the leadership and others who have been expelled. There are in all areas nuclei around which we could build on the hunger for a nationalist party which is evident in the comments to papers AND WHICH WE HAVE NOT TAPPED.

WOULD WE BE TAINTED BY OUR ASSOCIATION WITH THE GRIFFINITE BNP?

No. The fact that we have left in disgust or been expelled would be a point in our favour in public perception. We could use this to our advantage portraying us as a clean honest party whose members had the courage of their convictions to leave the old one . We could show ourselves to have been the victims of a con trick to our cost and distance ourselves from the chicanery and extremism of the present party.

The leadership contest has had a cathartic effect I believe in halting our downward spiral. It has concentrated minds. It has sifted those who wish to carry on in the Griffinite mould from those who have seen the light, sometimes belatedly.

If a new clean party is formed, purged of staunch Griffinites, the members could use their past membership of the BNP as a badge of honour showing that they had seen the light and rejected factionalism, financial irregularities, incompetence and extremism.
Remember the people who supported Brons are the intellectuals in the present party.
A new party would have a ready made management team.

IT WOULD NOT COST MUCH.

We are not responsible for Griffin's debts, so we could start with a clean sheet in more ways than one.

WE OWE IT TO OUR COUNTRY.

There is a rich seam of Nationalist support out there.

WE MUST MINE IT! IT CAN BE DONE.

FOR BRITAIN'S SAKE- TAKE A SHOWER

I note with interest the estimate of our GDP published yesterday, but I am still mystified by the assumptions made in calculating it.

It states that manufacturing output went down in December, owing to the bad weather which hindered transport and geting to work. I can understand that. Output down because of the cold weather.

It also states that because of a warm April figures are also lower than expected.
Manufacturing down again of course but this drop is often nullified by other factors.

Because of the warmth ,electricity and gas consumption was down thus lowering the figures.
Now this I can not understand as I always thought the use of electricity was consumption, not production.

Does it mean that I am to blame for not taking enough showers or flushing the toilet as much? It seems so.

Am I to blame because I have not spent as much or avoided a parking ticket or fine.?
All these aspects it seems are taken into consideration when collating the figures.
Issuing tickets and box ticking are all counted.

Spending mainly on imported goods, even if distributed and sold in this country is not production it is expenditure but the way they are compiled seem to be as important as manufacturing in the statistics.

We are told by "the experts" we must save more while spending more (mainly on imported goods).

Do they know something we do not know? I doubt it. They are just incompetent at their job of running a successful economy while feathering their own nests at our expense.

It demonstrates what is wrong with our economic model by classing consumption and pointless activities as production.

Until we have a more realistic system of valuing activities we will continue our downward economic path.

The s**t will hit the fan and our party must unite and provide the answers instead of concentrating on issues with which most people agree.

BUT in an effort to help the present situation and our economy I will finish this blog, go to the bog and use a bit more electricity by having the shower I have too long delayed.

Oh, and while I do so I will leave this computer on and switch the lights on.

Hopefully I will have an even bigger electricity bill next time reflecting my contribution to our national prosperity, even though I will make myself poorer by doing so.

THE CHAIRMAN IS NOT THE PARTY

With the disappointment of yesterday's result and having had time to reflect, all people who backed Brons must be wondering "what now?"

I see Griffin says he had before the election, promised to offer the hand of friendship to those who opposed him, expecting an easy win instead of just scraping in.

He says those who remain disaffected and trouble causers will be cast aside as there is much work to be done.
Does that mean anyone who questions his already failed tactics will be expelled? If so he is reminiscent of a modern day Stalin who does not tolerate different opinions.

He talks of building power. That is the trouble. We have under his leadership lost power and influence as has been written about in the national press.
IT HAPPENED ON HIS WATCH!

He is campaigning for a referendum on EU membership. Most people want that so how are we different?
"Bring our boys Home". Most people are against foreign wars so that campaign does not differentiate us. BTW when are the next 10,000 petitions to be handed in which were too bulky to carry at the last publicised meeting?

No I do not think he is offering the hand of friendship. He is resuming his role as a dictator especially when he threatens doubters with exclusion.

He is an intelligent man and must realise his most effective and intelligent comrades have deserted him, thus his sabre rattling.

For all his talk he is a wounded beast.

Today I have heard of many in our group who are throwing the towel in and leaving the party or at least activism and I am sure this will be replicated across the country.

To quote "a week in politics is a long time" and I would concur with John Bean (a true nationalist if ever there was one) who advises members in a letter to "BNP Ideas" to give it another three months before making any decision.
There are many problems facing the present leadership and we don't as yet know the outcome.

I shall continue my blog, criticising or praising as I see fit as is my democratic right.
I SHALL ALWAYS REMAIN A NATIONALIST who is in it for my country, to give to the cause, not to take.
If by my independence I cause sanctions to be instigated against me I shall continue with my blog to snap at the heels of those who in my opinion are letting our cause down by incompetence or financial chicanery as I am sure will others.

I had hoped for a more emollient piece from our leader and a sign that he really wanted unity.

Reading his first article it seems he has not learned the lesson of his near defeat, and he risks losing a large part of the now reduced membership over which he has presided.

FOR THE SAKE OF THE PARTY AND THE NATIONALIST CAUSE, he must be more accomodating and realise that the election has shown that--
HE IS NOT THE PARTY.
