TALES OF DIVERSITY PART 2

A TRUE STORY FROM WIGAN

A Wigan woman with children at last gets the offer of a council house.

She is taken to see it. It looks fine and fully furnished with a fridge, washing machine 3 piece suite, beds with bed linnen etc.
She asks, "when is the existing tenant moving out,The last house I was offered several years ago was empty."
The official looks sheepish and is embarrassed.
The house was originally designated for an asylum seeker and for some reason was now vacant.

So there you have it. All mod con for the foreigners but as a rule nothing for the Brits.

Have you read the 2004 Tenancy Agreement Act?
This tells landlords excactly what should be in a property rented out to asylum seekers.
