"Nick Griffin said today the BNP would effectively pull up the drawbridge in Barking and Dagenhamby making it an unattractive place for migrants to live.

“Quite simply, people from outside may not want to come to the borough. People who want to embrace diversity can find other places to go, like Newham,” he said.

Some BNP policies, including on migration, are at the fringes of legality. Mr Griffin claims his supporters would go to prison for their beliefs.
