PETER FRANZEN IS A LIAR.
He is quoted as saying peaceful demonstrators were terrified, insinuating that they were terrified by us.
If they were frightened it was by his mob. We had four people there they had possibly forty.
Our people did not have hammers and baseball bats as did his rabble.
In a letter to the paper "which we have copied" he goes completely off his rocker and accuses the four members of having German shepherd dogs with them.
He has lost all contact with reality and should be locked up.
He also says the BNP are not welcome in Wigan.
That is not for him to say. We are a legitimate party and have every right to hold our meetings anywhere.
What I do know is that many people in all parties hate him. He destroyed his own party, the decent ones leaving and I have met CAP members who wish they were rid of him.
He is a boor and a lout and was twice warned at election counts re his behaviour and he caused chaos in the council chamber.
Come on Franzen. Let's debate if you can do so without shouting or are you only able to do so as a "pavement warrior"with a mob behind you?
I WOULD BURY YOU IN DEBATE BUT I KNOW YOU WILL NOT TAKE ME ON.
COWARD. JOINED AFTER THE VIOLENCE ERUPTED? AND YOUR YOBS WERE THERE?
SAFER WHEN FORTY AGAINST FOUR?
BIG TOUGH FRANZEN THE PEOPLE'S HERO!

Dear Charles,
You make many very valid points in this posting, but don't let this side track the Wigan group from the main aim of the party. Ignore this irrelevant Brownie pointer of a councillor, he's simply not worth a second of your valuable time.

Well Chris - I'm currently working on a very large post which Franzen is a central component of.
You really don't know what's going on here in Wigan, and it's not just Franzen I, indeed we, are trying to rip into. Franzen, the local press and the police are all mixed into this. Franzen has turned out to be a good route through to the press - and all by his own actions. The police are a little more difficult, and Charles is better able to rip in there.
And it's not happening just here either - have you read Martin Wingfield's blog today? He talks about the same problem, only it's more intense here.
What's going on is an attack on the BNP on several levels at once, and it even appears to be co-ordinated. There's the thugs, being let off the hook by the media and enabled by the police, who are also making it as difficult as possible for us to go about our lawful election activities.
And behind it all, pulling the strings, there are the politicians of the three main parties.
We think we know what we're doing; we think we have the evidence, but it's one hell of a job putting it into a coherent narrative. If we succeed we will have done a good job both for ourselves and the party as a whole. And no, we're not going to tell you what we're doing. That's one of the lessons we learned from the chaos of last weekend.
Hi Morg,
I have no doubt at all that there is a coordinated and totally undemocratic campaign to prevent the party moving forward in June. But I'm just as sure that these attacks are an attempt to distract successful Branches and groups from the elections themselves.
As for not publicising the Wigan group plans, until it's totally necessary, I totally agree they should be revealed only on a need to know basis only.

Perhaps I should be flattered that you are so obsessed with a mere peasant from Golborne like me and apparently not at all concerned with New Labour, the Tories, the Lib Dems and UKIP.
However, it speaks volumes that like most Nazi BNP maggots, faggots and pedophiles you don’t even have the balls to post on your own website under your own name.

So far I haven’t seen you engage anyone in debate, only the usual lies and smears.
If you really want a debate then name the date, time and a public place.
I would suggest Wigan or Leigh town centres on a Saturday afternoon.
Also can you bring along your spineless BNP mates Charles Mather, Mrs Mather, Chadwick and Morgan to cheer you along and prompt you when you get stuck for words, which will be every time I ask you a question or respond to yours.
But you had better get permission from your Leader Nick Griffin first.
I’m not holding my breath.
Peter Franzen
