It's getting more and more frequent that I'm now stopped in the street or nudged on the bus or indeed approached in the pub when the more shy and retiring type after a couple of looseners are able to ask me just what on earth is happening to our once proud town.
I tell them that not enough are voting for the British National Party!
The below slideshow gives you a brief indication of just how far Leigh has become to being an absolute cesspit of a town. A once thriving industrious area now reduced to boarded up houses, shops and pubs with a thriving pound shop and kebab making industry!
