THE CHAIRMAN'S STATEMENT ON THE GAZA INCIDENT

We have said nothing, quite simply, because it’s nothing to do with Britain, and therefore nothing to do with the British National Party. That is the simple answer to the number of newer readers who have emailed recently to ask why this website has said nothing about the current number one international news topic - Israel’s targeted but massive air and ground response to indiscriminate but relatively feeble Hamas missile strikes on Israeli civilians.

The fighting in Gaza is not a proper concern for a British political party - especially at a time when the Bankers’ Bust threatens the livelihoods of millions and what little remains of the social cohesion of our own country. One of the core tenets of our nationalist philosophy is that Britain should keep completely out of other people’s quarrels and wars unless there are clear issues of our own national interest to give us the right, and our government the duty, to interfere.

Beyond that, as nationalists and not imperialists, we recognise the right of every other people under the sun to seek to secure self-determination on a patch of earth that is their historic and spiritual homeland, and the duty of every government of such a nation-state to protect its citizens from terrorism or oppression.

That includes both the Israelis and the Palestinians, but while we instinctively would suggest that a land-for-peace, two-state solution is the most likely way to square their very differing ambitions, in the end it is entirely up to them whether they make peace or continue fighting from now until Judgement Day. It really isn’t any of our business.

A superficially logical argument has been made by several of our readers to the effect that the endless television coverage of dead or injured Palestinian children (the anti-Israeli bias of the leftist BBC is particularly marked) will inflame Islamist extremists against not only Israel but also against other Western states, including the UK and our soldiers currently stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The reality, however, is not only that our troops should not be there in any case (and never should have been, for thy are two patches of howling desert that have nothing to do with Britain) but that Islamist ‘extremists’ need no ‘inflaming’. The massively influential Wahhabi and Deobandi sects behind most Sunni ‘extremism’ were alive and kicking, against the West in general and Britain in particular, decades or indeed a century before the state of Israel came into existence.

Indeed, the destruction of Israel (which is the generally stated aim of all the far-left and Muslim demonstrators screaming and on occasion rioting outside the Israeli Embassy in London, and the generally unstated aim of the far smaller number of neo-Nazi cranks siding with them on the Internet) would most definitely not placate a single hardline Muslim.

One of the fundamental lessons of the West’s long and at times desperate defence against Islam’s institutionalised aggression, sexual predation and imperialism, is that every victory for Islamic fighters reinforces the hysterical certainty in the word of the Prophet and in Islam’s self-proclaimed destiny to conquer the entire world.

The destruction of Israel would not send Islam back into a peaceful slumber, but would merely inspire and radicalise a whole new generation of Jihadist fanatics with the idea that the hour of their final triumph against the ‘Crusaders’ had been signalled by the collapse of the latter’s ‘Zionist outpost’ on the eastern edge of the Mediterranean. This would lead as a direct and immediate consequence to:

1) Renewed acts of ethno-religious cleansing against the non-Muslim remnants of the earlier populations of the Dar al Islam (lands which have already submitted to Allah);

2) A fresh confidence in the plan to re-partition India and establish a contiguous ‘Moghulstan’ taking in Pakistan, the Kashmir, huge swathes of northern India and Bangladesh;

3) A stepping up of the pressure through demographics and violence to reconquer further swathes of the Balkans and the southern edges of Russia;

4) Even more strenuous efforts to hasten the conquest - by demography, immigration, conversion, subversion and, when the time is right, force - of Western Europe and, a generation or so later, North America.

While Israel’s no-holds barred self-defence undoubtedly gives Islamist recruiters good material with which to radicalise some of their less motivated brethren, Israel’s extinction would provide them with even stronger arguments in favour of Jihad. The most elementary study of their rhetoric shows that they do not regard Israel as the great enemy, merely as the catspaw of Christendom. They may be right or they may be wrong, but that is what they believe; the destruction of Israel would therefore make them even bolder and more aggressive. Thus while we would oppose any move to entangle Britain in war on behalf of Israel, it is in our clear national interest that it should survive.

Whether that survival is made any more or less likely by responding on such a scale to the cynical provocations by Hamas is another matter, but that judgement is for Israelis to make at the ballot box, and not for us.

Westerners should concentrate on the key matter that concerns us. Our people must understand that Islam is not a mutated version of Christianity with a pacifist core in which the Meek will inherit the earth; it’s a creed of War and the Sword. It is inflamed by victory, and encouraged by successive advances. Once they start fighting, the only thing its followers understand is defeat. The centuries in which Islam has slumbered have all followed massive defeats which shattered the conceit that its date with Destiny and world domination was just around the corner.

Tours, Lepanto, Vienna, and even in its lesser way Omdurman, all show that Islam defeated is Islam tamed. The burning of the ancient Library of Alexandria, the obliteration of Christian North Africa, the Islamist genocides in India, the destruction of Byzantium, the repeated rape of the Balkans, the ceaseless efforts to take Europe - all show that when Islam takes a foot it wants a hundred miles.

That is the nature of the great Beast of our times. It can be defeated and put back to sleep. Its modern prestige and especially the power of the Sunni and Shi-ite fundamentalists in Saudi Arabia and Iran is based on one thing. It certainly isn’t military prowess, as the American, British and Israeli machines have all shown over and over again. Nor is it about guerrilla warfare successes of the kind seen in Afghanistan and Lebanon, which may yet emerge in Gaza.

The real motor of Jihad is oil money. The move to a post-oil world will be difficult even for the West, but once it is properly underway the resulting crash in the income of the fundamentalist paymasters of Islamic expansionism and terror will force them to stop worrying about conquering the world and to concentrate on looking after their own people or risk ending up riddled with bullets.

It can’t happen too soon, and developing the technologies and economic model needed to wean ourselves off oil, and the perpetual growth superstition it has fostered, is the very best way to deal with the instability of a Middle East that should have nothing to do with us. In the meantime, we will go back to ignoring Gaza and concentrate on the things that matter to our people.

Surely the answer to why this blog doesn't cover national and international events, is that it's a local blog.

There are thousands of blogs out there covering all aspects of the Israeli troubles (and every other event on earth), but as far as I'm aware this is the only one covering events in the Wigan area from a British point of view.

This Wigan blog is an excellent example (in content at least) of what a local blog should be, LOCAL!

Well done Wigan BNP, keep those local stories rolling in.

Any chance of an update on the 'Armed police surround siege house' story?

The siege is over. The police have the perpetrator (s - there were two, plus the hostage - the police didn't initially know of the existence of the second one. The firearm was an imitation).

Regards posting the Chairman's statement - there are local people who read this blog, but don't visit the BNP web page. It was and is my opinion that those people should know the party's attitude to certain foreign affairs.

Hence my publishing it here.

Hi Morg,

OK thanks for that quick reply.

Good to hear it was only an imitation
firearm for once.

I'm sorry Morgan I can not agree with you or the chairman over this.
The fact is that the land belongs to the Palestinians and however much we despise the islamic religion we should recognise as nationalists that each people has a right to its' own land.
Yes they have fired rockets but during the ceasefire there were targetted assasinations on Hamas leaders who had been democratically elected whether you agree with them or not.
Yes they smuggle arms in but Israel does not need to smuggle arms in, they buy them or are given them by America.
It's no good the Israelis saying they were there before the Arabs, they took the land off the previous owners as stated in the Bible. In fact this small race have been nothing but trouble since they pharaoic times and they still cost us millions in foreign wars fought not for oil but to protect them.
I admire the Jews, their intelligence and perseverance but after 4000 years they always want that little bit more and that is why throughout history they have been generally disliked.
Their present activities are just stirring more hatred and extremism and they put the state of Israel in jeapordy as eventually the Arabs will get their act together and destroy them.
Much better if they stopped building in the West Bank, went back to their original borders and started working together.
If they don't it's the end of Israel as America is short of money and won't be able to help.
However I agree with the chairman, we should keep out of it as it has nothing to do with us.

Dear Charles,

I don't think that the Jews are any more evil, or or for that matter kind, than any other race.

However being without a doubt (on average at least) the most intelligent race on earth, it's simply a case of: 'when they are good they are very very good, and when they are bad they are very very bad'.

In the end a race of only about 20 million people (max figure in 1930), that has given us some of the best doctors and physicist the world, has ever seen must be a positive influence on civilisation. While I think the influence of Islam is very detrimental to civilisation.

Having said all that it is the Arabs land and I must say I would certainly have more sympathy for their plight if they (the race) weren't trying to take our land here in the UK. Israel is only a very small area, while Arabia is massive, so I say let them have it. But I do admit that that's easy for me to say as it's not my land.

I don't claim to have a solution to their problem. But why should I, or any other Brit, have a solution? It's not our problem!

Now what's going on in Wigan, because that is our problem!

An interesting statement that I find difficult to fault barring the rather eco minded weaning off oil bit...plenty of shale oil in Canada and america which whilst expensive is a very viable future source.I like my lifestyle and don't want it tempered by third world savages nor by bloody windmills.

Lanky, I've already - some years back now - said exactly that to a Jew I was friends with. Wouldn't make a difference though, they'd still attack Israel. That's because they believe - or at least say they believe - that every square inch of Israel is "Occupied Palestine". They want it all.

It might be better if Israel had never been created in the first place, back in 1948. But it was, and everyone just has to learn to live with that because the Jews aren't going anywhere anytime soon. And no one, least of all the Palestinians, can make them leave.

And I too entirely agree with our Chairman - it's none of our business and we should not get involved in any way.

The Muslims have a very unique vision of what constitutes 'their' land. It is any land they have ever have control over. So, while Israel is the current focus of their attention, they have the same ownership fixation on Spain, the Balkans, and soon many neighborhoods in Europe.

That they are not asserting their views with rockets is only a matter of focus.

The posters who claim that all of Israel was "Palestinian Land" need to brush up on History. England herself has a better claim to the land of Israel than the Palestinians. It was a part of the dwindling Britich Empire in the first 1/2 of the 20th century, taken over with the fall of the Caliphate.

Why is it ordained that the Jews, who numbered perhaps 10 million souls in the fomer Ottoman Empire should be one of the few ethnic groups to remain utterly nationless at the conclusion of partition of that empire.

Yes, that is the plan some in England at the time preferred, but obviously the Jews themselves did not prefer it.

What other people (that the palestinian Arabs) lost several wars they instigated and are still whining about it 70 years later! Somehow the Poles, Germans and Russians have managed to deal with the loss of land that each suffered in WW2 and don't bleet endlessly about it.

For nearly 2,000 years Palestine has been almost 100 per cent Arab. The Romans never exiled any nation from anywhere on the eastern seaboard of the Mediterranean. Schlomo Sand, an Israeli historian argues that the diaspora was the consequence, NOT of the expulsion of the Hebrews from Palestine, but of proselytising across north Africa, southern Europe and the Middle East. Two thousand years of wandering brought the Jews to Yemen [a vigorous Jewish kingdom emerged during the 5th century in Himyar, whose descendants preserved their faith through the Islamic conquest and down to the present day], Morocco, Spain, Germany, Poland and deep into Russia [the most significant massconversion occurred in the 8th century, in the massive Khazar kingdom between the Black and Caspian seas].

Some of the population of Judea that continued to live on their lands converted to Christianity in the 4th century, while the majority embraced Islam during the 7th century Arab conquest.

A group of people referring to themselves as "Jews" are insisting that Palestine belongs to them because their ancestors lived there are 2000 years ago. They created the Zionist movement to help restore their homeland.

Most of these Zionists are not descendants of the original Jews. Rather, most Zionists are "Ashkenazi Jews"; a race of people from Asia. The white Ashkenazi Zionists are incorrect when they claim that their ancestors came from Palestine.

The real, original Jews were physically and genetically similar to the Arabs, specifically, dark skin, dark eyes, and dark hair. The Christians from the northern European nations usually depict Jesus with northern European features, but they should depict Jesus more correctly by giving him dark skin and Semitic features. The Hebrew and Arabic languages have a lot of similarities, also.

The real homeland for the white, Ashkenazi Jews is near the Caspian and Black Seas, not Palestine. Their ancestors picked up the Jewish religion many centuries ago. But they are not the descendants of the Jews that lived in Palestine. So, do “Ashkenazi” Jews have a right to Palestine? Imagine if Africans made the mistake of assuming Alaska was their homeland.

Furthermore, because the Zionists are not real Jews, criticizing their attempt to create Israel is not criticizing Jews! In fact, the Ashkenazi Jews outnumber the real Jews, and are discriminating against the real Jews in Israel. For example, have you heard about their ringworm treatment for Sephardi children?

Pro-Israel apologists claim the issue of whether the Zionist Jews are related to the original Jews is irrelevant, and cannot affect Israel’s right to exist. The truth is that Israel does not have a right to exist. No state does as states don’t have rights. Israel CAN justify its existence but only by standing on its own two feet and providing security to its citizens independent of U.S. aid (or any other aid for that matter).

Why not allow the Aztecs have a special homeland in Palestine? When the Romans caused Celts to migrate into the British Isles, they took land away from whoever was living there already. Why not let those people have a homeland in Palestine?

All throughout history we find groups of people fighting with their neighbors, and migrating to different areas. If the Jews had fought with the Arabs for Palestine a thousand years ago, the Arabs may have moved eastward after a few fights, and the Jews may have created Israel without much suffering.

However, nobody today is nomadic. You cannot chase a person off his land by throwing rocks at him or by shooting at him with arrows. Furthermore, the human population is dense; there is no vacant land anywhere.

Today all groups of people refuse to move. The end result is that fights over territory become devastating for any nation foolish enough to get involved in such fights.

It is no longer practical for people to fight over territory. We are no longer living like animals, and we must stop fighting over territory like animals.

The Jews are trying to create Israel in an era when creating nations is impractical. The entire world is suffering tremendously, and we should give it up as a hopeless fantasy.

Israeli racism manifests itself in a bunch of laws that are necessary to safeguard Jewish privilege, including the Law of Return (1950), the Law of Absentee Property (1950), the Law of the State’s Property (1951), the Law of Citizenship (1952), the Status Law (1952), the Israel Lands Administration Law (1960), the Construction and Building Law (1965), and the 2002 temporary law banning marriage between Israelis and Palestinians of the occupied territories. The maintenance of all the racist laws guarantees the Jewish character of the state.

Zionism and Israel are very careful not to generalise the principles that justify Israel’s need to be racist but are rather vehement in upholding it as an exceptional principle.

For decades, pro-Israel Zionists and pro-Israel neoconservatives have not only manipulated the puppet strings of Congres and the White House in favor of open borders and multiculturalisism, but have also supported and still support immigration of Muslims into the West.

In the age of Zionism, we are told, anti-Semitism has metamorphosed into something that is more insidious. Today, Israel and its Western defenders insist, genocidal anti-Semitism consists mainly of any attempt to take away and to refuse to uphold the absolute right of Israel to be a racist Jewish state.

There is no need to wean ourselves (the West) off oil. A better short term strategy would be to defeat the environmentalist extremists that have far too much power over our energy policy, or lack thereof. If you don't believe in man-made global warming, I don't, then there is no urgency for us to find alternatives to fossil fuels. Here in the US we have more coal than any nation on earth. We also have more oil than all of the Middle East locked up in our oil shale formations. If we had the political will the US could be net suppliers of oil and gas to the Western world thus giving us the ability to control world oil prices and the fates of the OPEC petro-tyrants. Estimates of US oil shale reserves run as high as 2 TRILLION barrels. If we converted all of our coal to gasoline and diesel we have another 2-3 trillion barrels. Yes we will eventually need to find alternatives but only because as far as we know oil is a finite resource. But, there is no immediacy to the issue. If Britain and Europe want to defeat the Muslims then they ought to be pressuring the US very hard to develop its vast resources. The radical environmentalists are every bit as dangerous to our survival as the jihadists because the the environmentalists are enablers. They are typical Leftists, ignorant and dangerous.

Charlemagne I agree with you that people's concern with global warming will hinder our economic recovery and keep us behol;den to the muslims of the middle east and Russia
Here in England we have 200 years supply of coal but the government has closed all the pits, even the profitable ones. It has squandered our oil and gas resources and now we are dependant on Russia for gas and coal.
We can and must wean ourselves off fuel from these unstable regions but as yet the only action taken here is low energy light bulbs which have their own disadvantages.
