Emma West, the suspected tram racist, has been granted bail.

The decision was reached at a Croydon Crown Court hearing behind closed doors this morning.

Miss West is charged with a racially-aggravated public order offence after a video showing a woman abusing passengers on a Croydon tram was posted online on November 27.

The 34-year-old, from New Addington, had initially been denied bail at Croydon Magistrates' Court on December 6 and faced the prospect of spending Christmas behind bars.

She is due to appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court on January 3 for a committal hearing.

Could this be due to the pressure placed on the authorities form the Nationalist community ?

I's like to think so, and I have to give credit where it's due, Britain First were at the forefront of the fight against this POLITICAL ARREST and to Free Emma West.

This is not the end of the matter though and we must stay with the fight and not walk away thinking we have accomplished what we set out to do as she could still be imprisoned at her next court appearance.

Well done to all involved, maybe we have more clout than we think.

I believe the weight of supportive mail and Christmas cards she received must of made them think about their position on this.

Don't get me wrong. Whatever she was setup to say before the camera started to film; they will use her as an example given the chance.

When mouths have to stay shut then people will start to actually do something about it. That's not healthy for our visitors to these shores.
