I hope we could persuade Andrew to stand for leader in the coming leadership challenge even if only on a temporary basis.
He comes over as knowledgeable and cultured and has the type of image we need to boost our party. I know he does not want to go to Europe again but he would transform our chances of progress if he were leader.
