I've seen it suggested that this comes from a BBC series which ran in 2003 called "State of Play", but as I never saw it, I can't vouch for whether this is the case or not. I do however get the dreadful feeling that the character who delivers the speech is probably portrayed as a corrupt, hypocritical criminal monster. It wouldn't be possible for the BBC to depict an English (or British) nationalist in a positive light.

Marc Warren, deserves an Oscar for his excellent speech, does anyone know which play\film this is taken from or is it just a short film ?

Is this not how all true patriotic ENGLISHMEN and ENGLISHWOMEN FEEL ?
