The economic disaster that faces our country is the fault of both the major parties. Unfortunately neither can see their culpability or what to do about it.
Our economy is a dire as that of Greece.
Brown suggests raising taxes and keeping public spending up while the Tories believe in drastic cuts in spending.
These two idiotic parties are tinkering with the results of their mismanagement rather than grasping the cause.
WE MAKE NOTHING.
I agree we should not have too drastic cuts as these will increase unemployment but the targets of government spending give no return on the spending.
They printed money to bail out the banks when it could be lent to industry at cheap rates to create jobs instead of subsidising the destruction of jobs by actions such as the loan to Kraft by the State owned RBS to enable them to close Cadbury factories.
At the same time they increased National Insurance which is a tax on jobs.
PC jobs such as diversity officers Government adverts, smoking sessation officers together with a host of quangos could be cut without any harm to the economy.
Foreign aid could be cut as well and don't get me started on the EU or illegal wars.
The Tories are no better as they agree with these latter causes but would cut services drastically to reduce the deficit.
We have millions on the dole. Can these idiots not devise a scheme to give them USEFUL work. There is so much that needs to be done to improve our country that it is criminal it is not tackled while people are on the dole or doing unecessary jobs.
That way we would have a return on our investments and a better country.
I believe that unnecessary bureaucracy and regulation should be cut. Business taxes and National insurance should also be cut to encourage firms to start MAKING THINGS thus creating jobs and finance arranged through a National Bank which would lend money at a realistic rate rather than financing bankers bonuses.
The countries which have not been affected so much by the recession and which are already out of it are countries with a strong manufacturing base. Our reliance on the parasites of the City of London has cost us dear.
It will be a hard slog to rebuild our country but until we take the necessary measures we will not achieve it.
Neither major party seems to know what to do or if they do they are so much in hock with the bankers and their millionaire bosses living in their offshore tax havens they will not dare to take the necessary action.
Our party is at present powerless to influence the inevitable decline and many will suffer as a result of the incompetence of these politicians.
We can only wait until the train hits the buffers which it will and people will realise we had the answers all the time.
