SAVING THE MARSH PLAYING FIELDS "UPDATE" (BELOW THIS ORIGINAL POST)

A couple of weeks ago I posted on this blog of the proposal by the wretched Labour ran Wigan Council to sell off a section of land that incidentally had been left to the people of Leigh by a Miss Mary Marsh before her passing in 1931.

If you did read my initial blog on this particular issue, you will have known that there was a covenant on this land in that it should never, ever be developed upon. Unfortunately, as all the trustees have now since passed and therefore no-one left in earnest to look after the interest of these fields 'legally,' now allows the shameless cockroach infested higher echelons of power in their overly inflated Ivory 'bloody' Towers on Library Street, and take it upon themselves to become the covenanter. And thus, who want to sell this sacred land to the Brookhouse Group (and line their own pockets!) who in turn will put a road straight through these fields and then develope retail outlets which is their forte, as near to this proposed road as possible.


Well, just over a week or so ago there was a modest protest on these fields by those who felt strongly enough and by those who wished to try and put an halt to this wanton local destruction and theft of something that belonged to the people of Leigh.

This protest was the culmination of a week long campaign by the members of the local British National Party team and to those who had put their full support and monies behind this demonstration. We had 3,000 "Save The Marsh Playing Fields" leaflets printed which we delivered along-side our own Euro Campaign leaflet. Additionally, we had forty or so St. George's flags made with the same slogan written across, as well as three huge placards.

The kids loved the St.George's flag and all forty + were snapped up within minutes, and off the kids went running around the field waving furiously.

It was a fantastic sight to see the utter disgust on the faces of the Labour Party entourage who had now turned up to give a false showing of unity with the protesters, and which included good 'olde' Lord (Ha bloody Ha) Smith, to see our children enjoying themselves in and around these fields with their patriotic St. George's flag aloft, getting our message over. Some children (with their parents) even went to the roadside to gain support from the hordes of passing motorists, and every child cheering with each and every toot of the passing car horn. A massive coup for the Leigh British National Party and especially to our friend Chris, with his ingenuity, time and monetary contribution and which goes to show we are not just here to make up the political numbers!

We are here because we actually care!

So, it's taken over a week for me to report about this demonstration and to put my own accounts of this particular day of action onto this blog! Well, the reason being, I was waiting to see what the local rag the Leigh Journal and the Leigh Reporter would have to say on the matter and indeed which photographs they would use in their publications?

I can now disclose that not one line was written about this demonstration and certainly no photograph was shown of this event, even though each paper was represented by a photographer and reporter in tow! Prior to that weekend it was front page news locally, I wonder what has happened to silence these pathetic morons?

The fortunate thing is, the people have now seen through this facade and seen the true corruption of this local Labour 'elite' for what they really are and on June 4th when the electorate have their chance to show their disgust; will do just that!

*THE MARSH PLAYING HAVE BEEN SAVED!*

It's official, the Marsh Playing Fields have now been saved.

"Community campaigner and chairman of the Save our Marsh Playing field group, Deborah Murphy, 41, is delighted that the playing field, which was left to the children of Leigh in a will by Mary Marsh in 1933, will be saved.She said: "I'm absolutely overwhelmed. But this is just the first hurdle."We would like to set up a board of trustees so never again will the council put Marsh Playing Fields in jeopardy."It's fantastic news. The support we have had from the local community has been brilliant."

"It shows people power can work if people believe in something we can stop developers from destroying what is ours."

So, there you have it, just showing that if you have enough people willing to share the same passion and conviction; results will inevitably come your way.

Although, chairwoman Deborah Murphy is not in any way asscociated to the local British National Party, she was very thankful of those including ourselves, for the support we gave. It's a shame the local papers wouldn't show the photo's of our St. George's flags being flown with the children at the demo the other week, but, I am sure it must have had a detrimental impact on the traitors of the local Leigh Labour councillors and the the Labour Party itself!

Eat your heart out Messrs. Burnham and Smith! And lest we forget the pitiful Cllr: Whiteside.

TOO JEWISH AND TOO WHITE FOR LABOUR

Islamified Labour Party Becomes Anti-Jewish as Middle East Conflict Spreads to Britain

The Islamification of Britain which is the direct result of mass Third World immigration has now started to directly affect the Labour Party as well, after a Jewish would-be councillor was told by a senior party official that she was “too Jewish and too white” to stand in a Birmingham ward dominated by Afro-Caribbean and Muslim residents.

Ms Elaina Cohen was told by Labour’s former Lord Mayor councillor Mahmood Hussain [ … ] that he could not support her application for an inner-city ward because “my Muslim members don’t want you because you are Jewish.”

Mrs Cohen said: “I am shocked and upset that a member of the Labour Party in this day and age could even think something like that, let alone say it.

“People should not be allowed to make racist comments like that. If someone in the party feels I cannot represent them because of my colour or religion, that’s ridiculous.”

Mrs Cohen had applied to stand as a Labour councillor for the Birmingham ward of East Handsworth and Lozells, which has a high Asian and Afro-Caribbean population. As one of Labour’s safest seats on Birmingham city council, the final candidate would be almost certain of victory at the June 4 by-election.

But when Mrs Cohen telephoned 57-year-old Mr Hussain for his support, she was astonished to be told that she was too “white and Jewish” to be considered.

Lorraine Briscoe, who runs a local community association, was sitting next to Mrs Cohen when the conversation took place on speakerphone last Tuesday.

“I was disgusted that a councillor could make comments like that in 2009,” she said.

“He told her they ‘will not vote for someone who is white and Jewish. My Muslim members don’t want you because you are Jewish.’

“Elaina then asked him if he had talked to his Muslim members about it and he said, ‘I don’t want to talk about it with you’ and hung up.”

Two days after the conversation, Mrs Cohen and another candidate were rejected by a pre-selection panel after failing to gain the support of the local party. Instead, members were presented with one candidate, black South African Hendrina Quinnen, who was selected by an almost unanimous vote.

The development is the inevitable result of the Islamification of Britain, and the resultant importation of Middle East conflicts to these shores. As increasing numbers of Muslims settle and take over Britain, anti-Jewish events will steadily increase.

This has been the case in all European countries where Islamic immigration has been high. France in particular has seen dramatically increased anti-Jewish attacks which have all been Islamist in origin.

Have you seen and heard about this on the BBC? On any other lobotomy box channel? Read it in the Guardian? In any other newspaper?

What if she’d been applying to be a BNP candidate and was told that? And then had the phone put down on her?

What if a BNP candidate selection committee told a Pakistani applicant that sorry, he was too Pakistani and too brown? Or too Muslim and too brown? And we didn’t want to talk about it anyway, and then put the phone down on him?

Do you think THAT might have been on the BBC? In the Guardian? All the other papers? Hell yes – it would have been the lead item on the 6 o’clock news, 9 o’clock news, Newsnight … for days on end; and on the front pages of all the papers.

CELEBRATING ST GEORGE.

It is great to see that St Georges Day has been celebrated all over the country this last week and especially on the 23rd.
A few years ago this saints day was ignored by most people but I have always sported a red rose for the occasion wherever I have been.
Thirty years ago I was attending a course in London on St Georges Day and sporting my usual red rose.I was the only person wearing a rose and bowler hatted city gents came up to me and congratulated me on my patriotism.

It is all so different today. Flags are everywhere and many towns and villages are urged to celebrate, and reclaim the day from the "Far Right" by politicians such as Boris Johnson (the advocate of amnesty for illegal immigrants) and immigrant clerics such as the Archbishop of York.

There are two points to make here.

Politicians have only been stimulated into celebrating our day by their fear of the BNP. They would not have needed to "reclaim" the flag if they had not discarded it into the gutter. We rescued it and now they want it back. If they were so keen on it they should not have discarded it.

Secondly we don't need advice from immigrants on what is Englishness nor how we should celebrate it, however good their intentions may be.

It is our flag and our day and we celebrate it as we want. We know who we are and ---

WE ARE THE ENGLISH and we will continue to do it OUR way as it belongs to US.

STOP PRESS: SHOUTY SLAPPER GETS SLAPPED

What IS going on?

Sure, with events as described below by Lanky, and what I’m being told about events in Liverpool yesterday, the police are not exactly flavour of the month with our local and nearby BNPers. But let’s be honest here shall we? The police don’t want to do this stuff; at least, the constables out there on the street don’t. They’ve got better things to do with their time and they know it.

No, it’s not them – it’s a combination of local (and national) politicians and council (Common Purpose?) officials putting pressure on the senior police officers, to send their constables to disrupt BNP election activity. Being a uniformed service, they generally obey the orders given by their senior officers, on pain - so they are threatened anyway - of losing their jobs if they don’t. They know they have more important real-world things to do but, well, ‘orders is orders’.

I’ve been a member of a uniformed armed service, so I can fully understand that (though bear in mind that holding the Office of Constable allows a lot more leeway to the individual concerned than does being a soldier, sailor, airman or marine. Individual constables ought to have a serious think about that). Even the armed forces are able to refuse unlawful or just plain wrong orders – it should be, and is, a lot easier for a constable. In the army, so the story amongst the enlisted men goes, the first duty of the platoon sergeant, on contact with the enemy, is to keep as many of his men alive as possible by immediately shooting the lieutenant. Make of that what you like.

So remember folks, don’t lash out blindly in the blame game: target the original source of the problem.

Now then, let’s get on with what I really wanted this post to be about …

Couple of weeks ago a shouty slapper in London got a bit of a … er … well … a slapping, actually, for being just that little bit too shouty with a man who was at the end of his tether. Consequences of that? Acres and acres of newsprint, videos everywhere you looked (and still happening); lead stories on al-Beebeecera and other television channels and radio stations.

All par for the course, of course.

Last week, in Newham in London, Police Constable Gary Toms was killed – murdered – trying to arrest robbery suspects. Heard about it? Has it been all over the papers, telly, radio? Seriously, I’m genuinely asking here – did you even know about this?

It HAS been reported, but hardly at all, and certainly given no prominence whatsoever. Surely I’m not the only person here who can remember the days – and it isn’t THAT many years ago – when the killing of a constable was a shocking event, all the media was plastered with it until the inevitable national manhunt, with all police and all members of the public keeping an eye out for the suspected perpetrator, was concluded with the arrest of the suspect? Nowadays, barely a mention anywhere and hardly a ripple across the public consciousness. However, a shouty slapper getting a slap is “News” you just can’t get away from.

Google (pages from UK only) ‘constable Gary Toms’, the conscientious constable murdered in the line of duty and you get 66,900 hits. That sounds like respectable coverage doesn’t it? Well, it does until you:

What is going on?

I think the media – all of it, no exceptions – is suffering from an advanced case of priority disconnect. For every story of a conscientious constable murdered on duty, there are SIX stories of a shouty slapper getting slapped. And it’s not just numbers of stories alone: it’s the prominence given to each. Cops must be feeling the frustration and resentment BNPers feel in this respect. For the cops it’s what I just described; for BNPers it’s white-on-non-white crime given widespread prominence in the media, whereas non-white-on-white (overwhelmingly more frequent) crime is barely mentioned and soon slips from the news.

And showing that it's not just the British media suffering from this priority disconnect, do those same Google searches worldwide:

Police Constable Toms - 239,000 hits

Nichola Fisher - 3,350,000 hits.

So here we get a 14/1 disparity in coverage.

All par for the course, of course.

What IS going on?

As a final word, let’s talk about the Office of Constable.

Constable. Sergeant. Inspector. Chief Superintendent. Chief Constable of Manchester.

To me, and to the law itself, they all have IDENTICAL STATUS. There is no such thing as the “Office of Chief Constable”, or whatever: there is only the “Office of Constable”. All hold identical Office. In law, and to any member of the public, all are equal. You should all bear in mind that that man over there in some very comfortable chair behind a desk – the Chief Constable – and that newly qualified policewoman passing you in the street, ARE EXACTLY THE SAME THING – “CONSTABLE”.

The public should bear this in mind at all times. As should all Constables when given what are obviously wrong or stupid orders by what is only another Constable. He or she may wear fancier badges on their epaulettes, or scrambled egg on their hat peaks, and maybe even carry a small baton, or as I prefer - stick (that makes me laugh so much) – but they are still only Constables, exactly – EXACTLY – the same as you. Holding the “Office of Constable” gives you the power to use your own discretion. USE IT! Do not allow the politicians and senior officers (also politicians – they stopped being cops when they became Inspectors – most of them anyway – and morphed into managers. By the time those managers – most of them anyway - became Chief Superintendents, they stopped being managers and morphed into politicians. And somewhere along the way many of them became Common Purpose graduates; a sinister organisation with an agenda all of its own. You know it, and although you may not realise it, we know it too. Use your discretion as constables because apart from your Sergeants, there aren’t many real cops up there telling you what to do) to lead you away from the right to use your discretion, and that vital connection to the public.

Police must secure the willing co-operation of the public in voluntary observation of the law to be able to secure and maintain the respect of the public.

The degree of co-operation of the public that can be secured diminishes proportionately to the necessity of the use of physical force.

Police seek and preserve public favour not by catering to public opinion, but by constantly demonstrating absolute impartial service to the law.

Police use physical force to the extent necessary to secure observance of the law or to restore order only when the exercise of persuasion, advice, and warning is found to be insufficient.

Police, at all times, should maintain a relationship with the public that gives reality to the historic tradition that the police are the public and the public are the police; the police being only members of the public who are paid to give full-time attention to duties which are incumbent upon every citizen in the interests of community welfare and existence.

Police should always direct their action strictly towards their functions, and never appear to usurp the powers of the judiciary.

The test of police efficiency is the absence of crime and disorder, not the visible evidence of police action in dealing with it.
