The fatal conceit of learned socialist bunglers is personified in Dr. – in history, of all things -- Gordon Brown. As the British Chancellor of the Exchequer, between 1999 and 2002 Brown sold 60% of Great Britain’s gold reserves at an average price of $276 an ounce. He had actually managed to drive the price to its lowest in 25 years, still called "Brown Bottom," by announcing his intentions in advance.

By 1 December 2009, gold had risen by 335% and stood at $1200 an ounce. And Dr. Brown, having managed to trash Great Britain in many other ways since, is now its Prime Minister.

Full of grandiose ideas to redeem whitey and uplift the world, among Brown’s other flashes of brilliance has been his effort to get the West’s then-solvent countries to give away much of their gold, via the IMF, to relieve Third World debt. Since this particular outflow to the Third World did not work out, Brown with other Labour leaders have since done their best to destroy Great Britain via a demographic inflow from the Third World.
The gross mismanagement of the West’s real assets by big business leaders has been far exceeded by the gross mismanagement of the West’s economies and societies by political leaders and bureaucrats. This starts with their Keynesian conviction that they know how to manage the economy. Friedrich von Hayek called it “the fatal conceit." The scope of this term ought to be enlarged to include also social capital, i.e. common ethnic roots, cultural consensus, shared norms of behavior and the resulting social trust – for these invaluable social assets have been similarly destroyed by the fatally mad ruling elites.

LAZY TEACHERS AND HYPOCRITES

Isn't it pathetic. Hundreds of schools closed in the South because of snow preventing teachers getting in.
They don't need much of an excuse to stop work do they?
When I was at school in the old days (before "global warming") I don't remember schools closing for even one day.
I wonder what these teachers do while not at school because of the weather. Do they go to the supermarket?. Do they have the lights on?.
If so they are able to do this because others got off their backsides and went to work in the supermarkets and power stations.

My son in law drove 20 miles in Essex to get to his work on time at a supermarket, so that teachers who were prevented from getting to their work could shop.
No wonder our children are so ill educated by this example.
Airports were closed.

I note Copenhagen airport was not closed enabling private jets to land with their cargoes of rich hypocrits to land to dream up taxes to discourage ordinary people from flying.
There were thunderstorms in the South East caused by temperature inversion possibly as a result of hot air drifting over from Copenhagen whose airport remained open.


This conference will do nothing in spite of Gordon Brown who seeks to alter the climate by putting us deeper in debt just as he did with the financial system.
The conference is a farce and just an excuse to destroy our industry by putting costs on them and paying £billions to "poorer" countries, money we don't have.
We are borrowing money as is the USA. Why therefore give it to other countries who have shown their incompetence in the past by remaining poor while others have prospered.

WE ARE NOT A RICH COUNTRY. CHINA IS.

We will be poor in the future if thick Gordon keeps giving our money and assets away.

I note on BBC2 John Prescott is for us cutting emissions by 30%. How? That says it all. With top scientists like him need we say more?

Let's hope the conference fails. It will solve nothing at best and destroy our country at worst.

It will, of course, be interesting to anyone else who wants to know more about the ongoing money rip-off climate scam. Thank goodness for the internet thingy eh? They have, actually, already started the moves to bring it under the same measure of ideological control as they have achieved over the mainstream media. We are going to have a fight on our hands. The excuse they will use is "to protect the children" in various ways. An attempt was made in the very early days of the internet to create a "Britain only" internal internet. Fortunately that got nowhere. We do have a banned list though, and anyone can find themselves on it at any time. What that'll mean is that you can still blog etc. but no one else can find you. So you don't know you're banned unless someone gets access to the list and finds their own site on it. The Danish and Australian banned lists are on WikiLeaks (I've seen them). Turned out that one of those on the Australian list was a common-or-garden dentist - who admitted wondering why he was getting no hits on his website.

Anyone got a link where I can find the British banned list?

THE BETRAYAL OF OUR CHILDREN

The government has said that it will ring fence education spending in spite of the growing deficit.
No one could disagree with the importance of education but at present most of this money is being thrown away.
Why? Incompetent and lazy teachers.
I have two grandchildren at secondary school, one in the North and one down South.
The one down South has been encouraged to take "soft" subjects like catering as opposed to languages. His maths teaching has been woeful.
When my daughter complained last year about the poor maths teaching she was promised an improvement this year with a qualified maths teacher. This has not materialised and he is still poorly taught if taught at all.
The other one near here has been disadvantaged by her teacher in one subject being off sick for several weeks but not too sick to go out shopping etc and another teacher unable to control her class and breaking down in tears most lessons. Yet another is teaching a different subject to her own and I'm doubtful whether she is a qualified teacher at all or just an assistant.

Again improvement has been promised next year, but that will be too late.
Our children are being denied a future because of incompetent or lazy teachers who will possibly retire on a good pension with "stress" while the kids are left to make their way in the world with little education(the teachers at some schools even have a day off for Christmas shopping. Do they not have enough holidays as it is?)
The governments answer to this is to make the exams easier and to build new schools under PFI at great expense. Buildings do not make for better education, it is competent teachers who have their pupil's interests at heart.

The sensible answer is a four letter word. SACK for incompetents who can't teach. Alright the NUT would possibly call a strike. Let them, the kids are learning nothing in any case.
It is ironic that parents are prosecuted for failing to send their children to school but when these children go to school they are not taught.
We buy our kids education dearly through our taxes and are entitled to have them educated.
If we buy something from a shop we can get redress by law for faulty goods. The same should apply to education as it is much more important than mere goods.

Of course this does not trouble the "elite" as their kids don't have to suffer this neglect being privately educated. Our children will face an increasingly competitive world. Are they being educated as well as the Chinese? I think not. They deserve better.
Schools would also be better if they concentrated on TEACHING and not the various politically correct matters they are brainwashed with such as sex education, racism, homophobia and Islamophobia not to mention what to eat.

Consider this stupidity.
A teacher can be sacked for being a member of the BNP a legal party even if they do not mention it but can carry on blighting the children's futures at school until their (early) retirement even though THEY CAN'T TEACH.

THE NOBEL "PEACE" PRIZE

I like Barak Obama. He seems the best (of a bad bunch) of recent American presidents.
However to award him the Nobel peace prize within weeks of his inauguration and before he had time to do anything was like awarding somebody the winner's trophy in a race before the race had started.

No he was awarded the peace prize for being Black, nothing more.
Since then he has shown his peace credentials by sending 30,000 more troops to the illegal war in Afganistan.
Other recipients of this prestigious prize include the peaceful terrorist Nelson Mandela,(not just any peaceful terrorist but a BLACK peaceful terrorist)
Martin Luther King, not exactly whiter than white (excuse the pun) also received one as did the gun toting Yasser Arafat.

I wonder how long Tiger Woods will wait for his award for his work in uniting peoples of different races. Going on past experience not long.
Let's face it these "peace awards" are a farce, unlike the Nobel science awards. These latter seem largely deficient in black recipients. I wonder why.

Could it be that science is colour blind and Nobel prizes for this recognise brilliant original intellectual work rather than all this PC nonsense? Perhaps but wait until someone in the climate change lobby receives an award (they may already have done I don't know).
Then the once prestigious accolade will be really be devalued and shown to be like most awards nowadays, PC nonsence.
