PROPAGANDA BEFORE EDUCATION

About an hour ago a coach came down my drive, which I thought unusual as there has never been one down here before. Out got a party of schoolchildren accompanied by two teachers who were being taught environmentalism and the re instatement of the next door open cast coal site.

I have given permission to the firm planting trees to use my drive for access. They do seem to spend more time driving up and down than actually working, but a coach?
I asked the driver ( a nice chap ) who had told him to come down my PRIVATE road and he told me the environment agency.
If you give them an inch they take a mile.
I had to move my vehicle so the coach could turn round.

Anyhow the kids were soon off crocodile fashion, in the pouring rain across the as yet bleak fields and I thought it strange as there is as yet little to see and the weather terrible.
Later the reason became clear. A photographer from the WEP came and asked where the kids were and he had to do a photoshoot with our local useless soon to be ex MP the little s**t Mc Cartney.
So at considerable cost to the education budget and in pouring rain these kids were dragged out of school for Mc Cartney's propaganda purposes.

The site BTW was reinstated by the NW Development Agency at public expense.
Originally it was hoped a local firm would have been employed to reinstate the site but surprise surprise a Scottish firm won the contract with a bid I am told of one million over the bid of a local firm and sourced their employees from outside the district.
I wonder why?

It has been badly done, is not level and the drains had to be re done after only a few months.
Ancient oaks which we had preserved were cut down in the "restoration" and thousands spent on unnecessary culvert works for a ditch when one was already in place which previously carried heavy lorries and farm machinery. Now only a footpath crosses the ditch.
The costs of the tree planting alone must run into the tens of thousands of pounds and has gone on for a month so far.

If I were the MP I would not have put my name to this un environmental extravagence but when did an MP worry about spending our money? or this little piece of dirt know about environmental country or English issues?

YOU CAN'T SIT THERE!

I was told a rather short, but nonetheless, a harrowing story the other day of which I'll share the 'experience' with you all here.


A mother was explaining to me of how her daughter after getting on a train while on the way to work last weekend was approached and told that she would have to move away from where she had chose to sit on the train and find another seat?


Now, the individuals who asked her to move were not rail employees NO indeed! They were in fact two hijab wearing female muslims who had been sat in the adjoining carriage, and one of which I was told; must have been a convert has the women was pale skinned and had a Welsh accent!

When the daughter remonstrated why? She was told that the gentleman she was currently sitting next to cannot let you sit there because it is against our/his religion! (The man was sitting on one of four empty seats at the time)

Aghast, the daughter astounded, speechless and confused decided to move away and find another seat.

MR TURNER MAKES A SURPRISE APPEARANCE

I read that our illustrious MP Neil Turner wants us to increase our foreign aid "to alleviate poverty"
Full of new ideas after travelling the SouthPacific to research "Global Warming" and failing to see the irony of his contribution to it, months before his retirement to a lucrative pension and I expect a well paid job as a result of his parliamentary "work"

Ask anybody in Wigan what he has done for the town and you will draw a blank. He has been almost invisible and the only thing local people know about him is his taxpayer funded jolly to the South Pacific.


He says the people of Wigan want to increase our contributions to alleviate poverty abroad.
No Mr Turner we want to know what your expenses were but you have so far failed to answer this.

Now no fair minded person would want to see poverty un alleviated but Mr Turner whatever we do or have done in the past has made no difference.

When Ethiopia faced starvation 30 years ago much money was contributed and what good has it done? The population of that country has doubled and there is still starvation.
We contribute £millions to India which has a space programme, we don't, and has several billionaires some of whom have grabbed British Industry with the connivance of his traitorous government. Why don't they contribute?
Pakistan, a nuclear power basket case receives £millions while exporting terrorists to this country.
Evil dictatorships like Zimbabwe also receives money bolstering that murderous regime.
We can not be the world's social services and alleviate poverty Mr Turner.

Most of these countries are so ill run or have such an unequal society that there is no way we could do any good.
Countries such as China and Japan have much more money than us so if there is any money to be given it should be by them.
We are in debt Mr Turner thanks to your government and have no money to spare. We are in danger of becoming a third world country if we do not get shut of incompetents like you and this Labour government.

Your duty Mr Turner was to your Wigan constituents and in this you have failed.

We have need in Wigan, a shortage of houses, unaffordable rents and unemployment owing to your party's policy of increasing immigration "to rub the noses of the right in it" and your sale of British industry to your wealthy foreign (Indian ) friends.
Your party has done its best to destroy our country through incompetence or design.
We can't afford your plans---and

CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME! and if you feel so bad about it GIVE SOME OF YOUR OWN MONEY and let us decide what charities we support with OUR money.

Then save it, file it for later use. Also print off a couple of copies and send them to your councillors. Suspect it may be a waste of time to send copies to our Wigan MPs, but you can give it a try. Might also want to distribute a copy or two to your friends, and get your kids to take copies to school "for teacher".

Who knows?... we may yet see a revival of the mining industry in this borough - that's REAL jobs for Wigan and Leigh's adults, and some prospects for our kids of proper jobs paying proper wages, instead of, as now, McJob jobs. Bring a bit of genuine prosperity back into the borough.
