A BELATED HAPPY 70TH BIRTHDAY LANKY PATRIOT

On Friday evening at the Chapel End Labour Club in Billinge (yes, it really was a Labour Club!) hosted our very own Lanky Patriots belated 70th Birthday party. And I really, HOPE that Lanky will not disapprove too much with this blog entry?

As most of you already know Lanky's official Birthday is on the 15th August, and of course last week Lanky's priority was to attend our annual Red White and Blue festival so hence this belated birthday bash for his family and friends alike.

It was a truly fantastic evening, and the DVD played to the guests documenting Lankys 70 years to date was very, very entertaining indeed!

Thanks for a great evening! And especially much gratitude must go to Lanky's long suffering wife Susan, for organising such a wonderful do!

Thank you once again! Cheers!

What a superb Birthday cake!

Hogging the limelight..again!... Well it was HIS party!

What an upstanding gentleman he his.

Man and boy!

What a lovely couple they are...don't they look sweet!

X-Factor here they come!

LEAVE SOON MR KIMBER

Can it be a coincidence that the Director of Environmental Services, Mr Martin Kimber will depart soon for pastures greener (or even better rewarded) in Yorkshire before his efforts to further destroy the Wigan environment come to fruition?

Looking at the proposals unveiled 3 weeks ago for Bryn and Stubshaw Cross, I'm not surprised he is going.

To take the Bryn proposal first.

Traffic at Bryn Cross is admittedly horrendous partly owing to past planning mistakes. The traffic problem needs an urgent solution regarding access to the Lockett Road estate from the motorway and personally I feel "proposed road 1" is the better solution. However to incorporate in this scheme adding yet more houses and warehouses when many of the latter lie empty shows how out of touch the Metro is.

We obviously do not need more warehouses or offices and would not need houses if the town had not been flooded with immigrants. We can not afford to lose agricultural green spaces.
I suspect behind the scenes speculation or PFI schemes, but certainly no consideration of the interests of local residents
To add to the idiotic scheme another one at Stubshaw Cross only a mile away would mean more loss of open space with a "super school" (no doubt saddling future generations with massive PFI interest payments)and yet more offices and warehouses.

Do they honestly think a new school will improve education or that we need more offices and warehouses?

The trouble with Wigan Metro and their overpaid directors is that they have no business experience.
Warehouses are just sheds and not necessarily tailored to business needs. Could that be why there are so many unoccupied sheds in the area? The other is the completely inadequate road system, possibly the worst in the North West, (past planning mistakes?)
You can bet that whatever road improvement scheme is chosen it will be the cheapest and totally inadequate to our needs.
50 years ago Wigan Council had more idea when they got Heinz to put their factory in Kitt Green.
Identify the site, put the services in and let the company put a building suitable to their needs. Surely that is better than the present approach of trying to guess what the needs may be and just putting a shed up?
Another way of helping jobs would be to cut business rates and make enterprise more profitable.
The Makerfield against Develpment (MAD) is a non political organisation, but one wonders how this proposal has got so far, given that we have councillors supposedly to protect our interests.
Have they not done this, or have they no power?
You can be sure that if these idiotic schemes go ahead the local BNP will make it political and we will use these follies in our campaign literature.

UAF KETTLED OUT!

This year's RWB was the best ever. I know we always seem to say that but it is true as the numbers keep growing in spite of the local council doing their best to stop us.

Thick Weybum the ugly professional state funded demonstrator said he would destroy our event.
Well Weybum, FAILED AGAIN. Another failure to add to your tally.
An indication of the petty mindedness of the council and hopefully soon to be replaced MP is that we accepted that we were not allowed amplified music but they insisted this lad was not allowed to play his drum kit.
All my life at local walking days, etc we have had brass bands but it seem we were not allowed this innocent pleasure.
Nothing to do with noise as we had music from CD players in cars. The biggest noise was the police helicopter hovering over us.

Yesterday a clay pigeon shoot was taking place on a field near the site, plenty of noise there.

The field was full of tents, indeed if many more had come there would not have been room.
Similarly the car park. You can always judge by the numbers of cars and there were almost double this time.

CONGRATULATIONS to Wigan and Leigh group. 30% of our members attended (I'm not saying how many, that's our business) and those attending for the first time were impressed by the spirit of unity and friendliness of the occasion.

Tents.

And more tents

And yet more
I admit I did miss several meetings on Saturday but it was my birthday. Sitting around and talking with friends seemed the better option ( well it did after a few glasses of whisky).
Some of the "party goers" at Charles 70th Birthday Bash on the Saturday evening. Suitable clothing was necessary due to the bitter winds blowing over the Derbyshire Dales. But, as the party got going in earnest the cold wind was soon forgotten about when the Champagne started to flow!

The entertainment was provided by the talented "Bolton Tony" with his set of local folk songs which soon got a few more attendees, including our very own Deputy Chairman Simon Darby amongst the many many others that evening.

We were not disturbed by the so called "anti fascists" gathering outside, indeed we never heard them and it was only the police helicopter that told us anything was going on. Otherwise we had to ask security if they were there.

All these people did was delay some of our people getting to the event. This action should have been prevented by the police. The congestion caused difficulty for the local people and we apologise for that but they, having more intelligence than the idiots blockading the road could see who the trouble causers were, indeed a local lady is our newest member having seen the antics of this state and big business sponsored mob. She joined on Sunday!

Another shot to the foot Weybum! You said you would "kettle us in". No Weybum you and your rabble were kettled out.

Our people were given a friendly welcome by the locals before and after the rabble departed.
There were many interesting debates and displays that I sometimes felt we could have done with a couple more days.

LEYTHERS IN THE BIG TOP.

ANDREW BRONS MEP with Peter Tierney behind.

A good illustration that there is no "side" to our top men. Can you imagine other senior politicians mingling thus, Brown, Cameron, or God help us Farage. Too self important to mingle with the "little people" who pay their allowance.

Thanks Andrew, an example of true democracy.

Unfortunately although I wanted to meet Andrew there was so much to do that I didn't manage to do so. I'll have to leave that to the conference.

Andrew gave a speech towards the end of the proceedings yestrday showing the corruption and creeping dictatorship of the EU. Even he and Nick who had long campaigned against that "Soviet" institution had not previously realised how bad it was.

As usual Nick wound up with a rousing speech and a pledge that although the law is constantly being altered to stop us we will win through whatever they do.

The event ended as usual with the singing of "Jerusalem"

P S It seems our web and forum has been attacked. Why go to all this trouble for such a "small" party? Do they fear something? Yes they do,they fear the truth and us for exposing it.

They are right to fear us.

WE WILL WIN in spite of anything they can do.

PPS Thanks to Jim Harrison for the photos (and congrats at getting a photo on the BBC today introduced by the fruit salt woman) It was you wasn't it. I bet you didn't tell her you were in the BNP.

BNP protesters' rally anger

A tense weekend lies in store for residents of Codnor, Loscoe and Denby as the annual British National Party Festival takes place, with campaigners vowing to stage a massive protest against the event.
Protesters against the Red, White and Blue festival have promised a bigger turn out than ever and say they are angry at police plans to restrict their rally to Codnor and a designated protest point near the site only.

Festival host and party member Alan Warner has said: "Any trouble will come from opponents of his party rather than people attending the festival......

I will be targeted afterwards as I have been for the last three years, but the show goes on. I am expecting a bigger turnout this year as it is the tenth one and we have just got two MEPs elected."

MORE FROM CODNOR

We've been down in Codnor for a couple of days helping to put up the marquees. All is done apart from the big political one which will be completed tomorrow.

Altogether there were about 25 tents of activists helping with the work, and it was nice to share a beer after work finished.
It is the first time I have camped in a tent for 20 years, this made necessary by the vindictive local council, and the experience was certainly enjoyable.

Yesterday the site was visited by two officials in high visibility jackets, (you can't be too careful, Health and Safety you know). They checked the washing facilities and walked round the mainly as yet nearly empty site, but it was a pleasant walk for them in the sunshine and out of the office.

They refused to believe there were no more than 3 caravans on the site and even thought we had them in the regional marquees.
Having been reassured by the farmer Alan Warner that he would not allow us to exceed the paltry 3 caravans on the site they slapped an injunction on him to prohibit more than 3 and he must appear in court on Friday.

Not only that he must pay £150 for the cost of this unnecessary action AND THE COUNCIL'S COSTS.
Alan had told them there would be no more than 3 so why the injunction.
I have had no injunction on me to not allow caravans on my farm so why should he.

Do so called "Travellers" have to pay for the costs of evicting them from trespass? or even cleaning up the mess they leave behind.?, so why should Alan have to pay for a "crime" he said he would not commit?
Of course not, they are a protected ethnic group in spite of most of them being Irish, the difference being that we are not protected and this is our country.

Possibly it is because these useless bureaucrats know that when we have any power they will have a price to pay. THE SACK, or transfer to a job useful to the community rather a leech on council tax payers.

To end people in the town seem very positive to us in spite of what the papers say.
Union flags and St George crosses are flying and our members are being given the "thumbs up" in local shops.

It's the disruption of the vandals of the far left that the locals don't want.

Hope to see a lot of you there on Friday or Saturday.
Time for the journey home this evening 1 hour 30 minutes.

A LOOMING FOOD SHORTAGE

A report today by the government agency DEFRA warns of future food shortages because of rising population and global warming.

While I like many others who have had the benefit of science training doubt the latter I have no doubt that food shortages will be severe in the future.

Populations all over the world and especially in the Arab countries are rising rapidly. They inhabit desert regions where not much can be grown.
They also control much of the world's oil which is essential for modern life and especially agriculture.
So in the future because of oil scarcity and consequent price rises the Arabs will have the funds to buy any food available.

We on the other hand have squandered our oil reserves, destroyed our industry and depend for our income on the City of London which has lost £billions. Also we can not feed ourself now and what food we do grow is dependent on inputs of fuel and oil based fertilisers. Without these last two production would drop by at least 50%. and we won't have the money to buy food.

Now the government in its wisdom reacts by saying that immigration to our island, already unable to feed itself is a good thing and anticipates a population growth of 10 million over the next thirty years.
This increase will require more building and therefore loss of agricultural land.

SO HOW WILL WE FEED OURSELVES? WE WONT BE ABLE TO.

But still the immigrants are encouraged to come in against the wishes of the people.

WE ARE RULED BY MADMEN AND WE WILL PAY THE PRICE FOR THEIR STUPIDITY.

BUT IF WE DO WE WILL MAKE SURE THEY PAY AS WELL.

DIRECTIONS TO THE RWB. IT'S EASY!

DIRECTIONS TO RWB SITE.

Leave the M6 at J 16 and follow the A 500 to Stoke.
Turn Left at Stoke to Uttoxeter on A 50 (look for large chimneyand keep in Left lane before it)
Pass Britannia Stadium on A 50 and keep on this road until you meet the A 38 near the Toyota factory.
Take the A 38 North.

Leave the A 38 at A 610 Ripley sign. Go under the bridge , over the first roundabout Right at the next and left after the third 200 yards after the second.
Keep on the A 610 to trafic lights and turn Right on to the A 6007.
Go down the hill and when it rises look for a church on the Right with a thermometer in front showing money raised.
Turn Right into Codnor Denby Lane just before the church.
Go past the houses and about 600 yards past is the site entrance on the Right.
If possible go on Friday or early Saturday. as mid Saturday morning the Ripley/Codnor town centre will be full of red thugs. If you are early enough you will avoid them

For those with Sat nav there is another way.
Turn off the A 38 earlier at the Belper sign, but this involves a very narrow road with cars parked on one side and difficult to pass. It is shorter if cars are not coming the other way.
The post code is DE5 8 PT.

I urge all who can to come and enjoy this get together with like minded patriots.
I have been to the last 6 and would not miss this event for anything.

Estimated journey time 2 hours, 90 miles approx.
