The arrogance on display here is breathtaking. We, the people of Europe are being told that we are too stupid to vote on these matters, and we should just leave it to our betters. Who do you people think you are? And what part of "No" are you yourselves too stupid to understand?
I've heard it said that 1% of the population of Europe should not be allowed to prevent the other 99% from having their way by saying "no". The question I would like to see answered - and not in political weasel-talk - is how many of the 99% voted "yes"?
I saw the fragrant Margot a couple of nights back saying something like "We have to understand what the Irish didn't like about the treaty". Well here and now, and for free, I can tell her exactly what the Irish didn't like about it: they didn't like ANY of it, and they didn't trust ANY of it. Exactly the same as they don't like ANY of you, and they don't trust ANY of you. Exactly the same as the majority in all 27 EU countries ... if you only had the courage to put it to the test.

SUPERMARKETS DESTROYING OUR WAY OF LIFE
People all over the country are dismayed at the number of post offices closing. It seems the Post Office itself is encouraging them to close by the rules they impose.
Most people do not realise that stamps can be bought cheaper at supermarkets such as Costco than the postmasters can buy them. Indeed the postmasters are forbidden to buy their supplies from supermarkets and this puts them at a competitive disadvantage with the large stores.
If post offices keep closing , soon the only place to buy stamps and other postal services will be in supermarkets thus destroying village life and creating more traffic and inconvenience for people.
The post offices could be saved by the simple expedient of making postal services only available from them and banning these services from supermarkets.
Could it be that big donations from big business to the major parties is influencing this policy or is it the EU?
Either way it is becoming another nail in the coffin of village life and customer convenience and another instance of government ignoring the will of the people.
Supermarkets are also responsible for the sale of cheap alcohol, often as a loss leader which is the cause of much of the teenage drinking. Meanwhile pubs are closing, unable to compete with this cheap supermarket booze, especially with the high business rates they have to pay. The smoking ban was put in place to further disadvantage the position of the pub at the centre of village life.It would have been simple to have smoking and non smoking pubs so people could choose where they went.(the health argument does not wash as shown by the lax policies on drugs)
A way to counter this would be to increase massively the business rates of supermarkets selling alcohol while exempting pubs from these rates. This of course will never happen as the profits and influence of the big companies are too influential to the government.
So communities are dying and will continue to do so, with the attendant social problems, all in the interests of greed and I think the deliberate government policy of destroying the British way of life and replacing it with their version of what life in this country should be,--an amorphous,obedient, disjointed spied upon multicultural hell.
The sooner we get a government which puts the interests and desires of the BRITISH people the better.

WHEN YOU HAVE NO ARGUMENT--LIE.
In today's Times is a report of a woman who is fearful of this year's RWB festival. It is said that residents fear clashes as the police try to prevent "anti fascists" preventing the festival. These yobs belong to a group which believes it right to forcibly stop a peaceful festival on private ground because they disagree with our views. Now I might be wrong but I always thought that violence to those with whom you disagree is Fascism.
The local village has a large BNP following and has councillors so I can't see that the village is trying to avoid our presence, indeed the field is owned by a BNP councillor.
A nearby woman weeps (aww) that people had St George's flags and she heard laughing (how awful, happiness not allowed) and that most of the attendees had rottweilers and were playing Nazi songs. She obviously must know more about these songs than I do as I never heard any last year and would not recognise them if I did hear them. Also the field was not populated with fierce dogs. I do not particularly like dogs and I was not intimidated. As for noise we were prevented from camping near to the stupid cow's premises in case we disturbed her "beauty" sleep.
There are few houses near the field and thus few residents to be disturbed.
In the area I believe is held a motorcycle rally which does not seem to bother these sensitive residents in spite of the greater numbers and the fast bikes on the roads.
The occasion is so safe I hope to take my young grandchildren this year. I can allow them to play and wander round in the certain knowledge that they will be safe, unlike in most areas of our enriched country.
This year with a larger field we will be able to keep even further away from the miserable sods.
The event was monitored by the police last year who reported no trouble. They do say that entry must be restricted to BNP members and their friends. So, that is what the rules for entry are in any case to keep out the fascist trash who want to disrupt the festival. Yes people can join the Party on payment of the subscription as they can any other party.
Compare this with the Notting Hill Carnival in London so beloved by the loony Left which is plagued by theft, drugs,assaults and sometimes even death.
The real truth is towards the end of the article when it states that anti BNP supporters were persuaded to stay away last year but they might turn up this time and cause trouble. So that's it. It's not that we cause trouble, but that we must be prevented from having our peaceful get together in case some "anti fascists" disrupt it.
It just shows who the fascists are and that when there is trouble it is not caused by the BNP.
The article also shows blatant bias and distortion of the facts but that is to be expected from a paper owned by a foreigner who does not have this country's interest at heart and is using the great unwashed rabble to promote his anti British agenda.

Racism includes "Islamophobia," according to numerous EU documents. Which means that "Islamophobia" will soon be treated as a crime as serious as rape and armed robbery across most of the European continent. At the same time, European leaders are busy enlarging the EU to include North Africa and the Middle East, thus flooding Europe with tens of millions of additional Muslims. Not far into the future, EU authorities can arrest a person in, say, Denmark or Italy, who has published a cartoon that could be considered offensive to Islam. He or she will then be quietly handed over to the authorities in Algeria, Egypt or Jordan. Remember that blasphemy against Islam potentially carries the death penalty according to sharia.
Multiculturalism in Europe is thus reaching its openly totalitarian phase. Those who think this is a joke can look at the Dutch cartoonist who was arrested recently. Several documents that are publicly available (but little known by the general public because they are never referred to by the mainstream media) state that the EU should "harmonize" the education and legal systems with the Mediterranean "partner countries" within the coming decade. This is being negotiated as we speak, behind our backs.
This is part of a long-term plan to merge Europe with the Islamic world. ... "

What you haven't been told about the "Harry Potter" murder.
You will have read this story
But why isn't the press telling us this bit?

We got the man in the bushes but he pulled out another knife. “He had one in each hand and was just lashing out. There must have been six people who he stabbed. It was terrible.” His accomplice fled. One of their group, 21-year-old Dean Saunders, is thought to have been stabbed three times on the left side of his neck. "
28 teenagers and other children murdered with knives and guns so far this year, ten of them (at least) in London. Almost all by non-native British.
However, despite that, my main criticism is reserved for the media who take it upon themselves to decide what is unsuitable for the rest of us to know. And how quickly the media told us - and told us and told us and told us and is still telling us after eighteen years - when they think native British killed a black teenager as in the Steven Lawrence murder.
Does anyone wonder why we no longer trust our politicians or media? Which "profession" is held in the lowest esteem of all? - politicians. Which other profession is down there in the gutter with them? - journalists.
Wonder no more.
